The "Logic" Proposal: [Jay's POV]
The baby shower had reached a rare moment of quiet as the sun began to dip behind the estate's manicured hedges. We were all gathered in the glass pavilion, the university squad finally settling down from the roasting session.
I was leaning against Keifer, his arm providing the "Primary Support" for my 7-month bump, when I noticed Keigan wasn't eating. He wasn't even looking at his tablet. He was staring at Rina with a look of 2,000% focus that I usually only saw when he was coding a new security firewall.
Suddenly, Keigan stood up. He tapped his crystal glass with a silver spoon. Clink. Clink. Clink.
"Attention," Keigan announced, his voice cracking slightly before settling into a formal "Project Presentation" tone. "I have a 'System Announcement' to make."
The "Data-Driven" Speech
The room went dead silent. Bridget nudged Felix, her eyes widening. Keifer straightened his posture, his "Alpha" senses detecting a major shift in the family "Hardware."
"Rina," Keigan said, turning to her. She looked up, her hand clutching a vintage lace handkerchief, her eyes wide. "I have spent the last six months analyzing the 'Metadata' of our correspondence. I have 'Processed' every handwritten letter you've sent. I have compared the 'Output' of my life before your entry and the 'Output' after."
Keiran whispered loudly, "Is he giving a weather report or a proposal?"
Mamma Serina hissed, "Hush, Keiran! He's 'Syncing'!"
"The data is conclusive," Keigan continued, his face turning a deep, "System Error" red. "My life is 1,000% more efficient, 2,000% more colorful, and infinitely more 'Complete' with you in my 'Primary User' list. I don't want to send letters anymore, Rina. The 'Latency' is too high. I want a 'Direct Connection'."
The "Analog" Ring
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, velvet box. But when he opened it, it wasn't a modern, flashy diamond. It was a vintage, rose-gold band with an intricate, hand-engraved scrollwork pattern—looking exactly like the borders of the letters she wrote.
Keigan dropped to one knee. The "Logic King" was finally on the floor.
"Rina," he whispered, his voice trembling now. "Will you upgrade your status from 'Correspondent' to 'Partner'? Will you... will you marry me and help me navigate the 'Non-Digital' world forever?"
The "System" Reaction: [Jay's POV]
I felt the tears prickling my eyes. My 7-month hormones were hitting 1,000% capacity. I clutched Keifer's hand so hard I probably cut off his circulation.
Rina stood there, her eyes shimmering. She didn't say a word at first. She just walked over, knelt down on the floor with him—ignoring her pretty floral dress—and cupped his face.
"Keigan," she whispered. "My answer is 1,000% Yes. No 'Processing' required."
The pavilion erupted. Bridget let out a tactical "Whoop!", Keiran started whistling, and Ella, Rakki, and Mica were practically jumping up and down.
Mamma Serina was dabbing her eyes with a silk napkin, and even Pappa Keizer let out a gruff, "Well done, son. Good ROI on that one."
The Brotherly Sync: [Author's POV]
Keifer stepped forward, pulling the newly engaged couple into a "Watson Circle." He shook Keigan's hand firmly, then looked at Rina with a rare, welcoming smile.
"Welcome to the 'Powerhouse', Rina," Keifer said. "The 'Access Codes' to the family are now yours. Just be warned... Keigan's 'Maintenance' can be high-frequency."
"I have the patience of an analog clock, Keifer," Rina teased, slipping the ring onto her finger.
[Jay's POV]
I waddled over, pulling both of them into a huge, "Double-Heir" hug. "I knew it! My 'Empress Intuition' never glitches! We're going to have a wedding and two babies in one year! The 'Glow' in this house is officially at 1,000,000%!"
