Ino knew very well that she couldn't give herself completely to Kaien too quickly. Otherwise, once the novelty faded, he might not cherish her later.
Their relationship was secret. She couldn't openly become Kaien's woman, and Kaien would have other women in the future.
If she wanted to hold onto his heart, she had to keep him wanting more.
"Alright, it's getting late. We should leave, or the waiters will start talking about us," Ino said as she stood up from Kaien's embrace.
She gathered her scattered clothes, put them back on, tidied her slightly messy hair, and followed Kaien out of the restaurant.

Although they hadn't gone all the way, Kaien's teasing had still left her exhausted, her legs trembling.
"Hehe, believe it or not, if I really had you, you wouldn't be able to walk at all," Kaien said with a rascally grin.
"Hmph!" Ino lightly punched his shoulder in mock anger.
"Hahaha!" Kaien laughed loudly, holding Ino's hand as they walked.
"You have to keep what happened between us a secret, okay?" Ino whispered softly.
"Of course," Kaien nodded seriously, then added, "But you must promise me—you won't let Sai touch you."
"Why not? He's my husband," Ino pouted, though joy flickered in her eyes.
"Because from now on, you're my woman," Kaien said domineeringly.
Hearing his possessive words, Ino's heart raced, her smile bright and radiant.
"You're so overbearing! I haven't even agreed yet," Ino poked Kaien's chest with her slender finger.
"Hmph. I won't allow any man to touch you. Not even your husband," Kaien said firmly.
"Hehe!" Ino laughed softly.
"I'm happy," she said, poking his chest again. "Don't worry. He won't touch me. He's not as interesting as you."
Kaien held her hand and gently caressed her cheek.
"Then only I'll touch you."
Ino smiled sweetly, clinging to his arm as they reached her home.
"We're here," Ino said softly, noticing the lights inside. "Sai's already back."
"Then I'll leave you here. Good night," Kaien said with a smile.
"Good night." Ino stood on her tiptoes, wrapped her arms around Kaien's neck, and kissed him.
Kaien hugged her waist and kissed her deeply in return.
After a long while, they separated.
"Good night," Ino said again, her eyes curved like crescent moons.
"Mm. Good night," Kaien kissed her forehead and turned away.
Inside the house, Sai came out when he heard the door.
"You're back," he said gently.
"Mm," Ino replied indifferently and walked straight to the bedroom.
"Ino—"
"Bang!"
The door closed.
"I'm tired. We'll talk later," Ino said coldly.
Sai stood there in silence.
"…Should I really buy clothes and flowers?" he muttered, confused.
