Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: Eating the Last, Most Delicious Dish

"Sai, I'm sorry. Today was supposed to be your and Ino's anniversary, and I still have you busy here."

Inside the Hokage Building, Naruto spoke apologetically to Sai.

Sai was not as emotionally stagnant as Ino believed.

In fact, after being reminded repeatedly by Ino, he already knew that anniversaries were supposed to be celebrated together.

He had even requested leave from Naruto a week ago, planning to spend proper time with Ino today.

However, Hinata's incident had happened far too suddenly.

Naruto and Hinata's wedding was imminent, and Hinata had been abducted. If this news spread, it would definitely cause turmoil in the village.

With no other choice, Sai could only put aside his anniversary plans and assist Naruto.

"It's fine. Anniversaries—there will be many opportunities in the future," Sai said with a faint smile, shaking his head.

In Sai's view, he and Ino had plenty of time ahead of them. Hinata's situation, however, couldn't be ignored.

"Don't worry. Once this is over, I'll definitely apologize to Ino on your behalf," Naruto said confidently, patting his chest.

"No need," Sai replied calmly. "I believe Ino won't be angry about this."

"If you ask me," Naruto added, "when you go back, remember to buy Ino a piece of clothing and a bouquet of flowers. Women, you know—they're bound to be a little petty."

"Flowers?" Sai asked, confused. "Why would I buy flowers? Our family runs a flower shop. We have plenty."

Naruto's mouth twitched. "Just don't ask. Do as I say."

Although Sai still looked puzzled, he nodded in agreement.

"Alright."

What Sai didn't know was that, at this very moment, Ino—because of his actions—was retaliating in her own way.

She was shopping with Kaien, bringing him to a couple's restaurant, and had already passionately embraced and kissed him there.

"Are there no more dishes?" Kaien asked, staring intently at Ino in his arms.

They had already eaten seven or eight dishes—and kissed just as many times.

If there were no more dishes, then it was time to taste the most delicious one.

"Mmm…" Ino lowered her head and softly hummed.

She had already understood Kaien's meaning. At this moment, she was extremely shy—yet also faintly expectant.

"Sister Ino…" Kaien whispered.

"Hm?" Ino raised her head, looking at him in confusion.

The moment she lifted her face, Kaien leaned down and fiercely kissed her lips.

"Mmm…"

This kiss was even more intense, leaving no room for resistance.

Ino felt as if her heart was melting, her entire body tingling as a wave of weakness washed over her.

Kaien's tongue slipped past her lips, exploring every inch of her mouth.

Ino didn't stop him. Instead, she began to respond more actively, even offering her tongue to him.

The two were completely entangled, lost in a passionate kiss.

After a long while, they finally separated, breathing heavily, their eyes filled with thick affection.

Kaien lifted Ino and placed her on his lap. She cooperatively wrapped her arms around his neck, her face flushed and her eyes hazy.

"Sister Ino, the waiter won't come in," Kaien whispered into her ear.

"Mmm!" Ino replied softly, her face burning red.

"Then I'm going to eat the last… most delicious dish~" Kaien murmured with a charming smile.

Hearing his words, Ino's body trembled uncontrollably, her face turning crimson.

In this ambiguous atmosphere—combined with the countless kisses earlier—Ino was completely trapped in the emotional web Kaien had woven.

She didn't resist. She silently nodded.

Seeing this, Kaien's heart raced wildly.

His hand slowly unbuttoned Ino's clothes, revealing her alluring boobs.

Ino's skin was fair and smooth like creamy jade, faintly translucent, carrying a delicate fragrance.

"Sister Ino, you're so beautiful," Kaien said infatuatedly, admiration filling his eyes.

Ino's figure was undeniably devilish—perfect curves, proud breasts, a slender waist, and a perky bottom.

She was flawless.

"I'm already an old woman. How can I compare to young girls?" Ino said softly, her eyes half-closed.

Despite her words, a happy smile lingered on her lips.

She had never heard such praise from Sai.

"How could that be?" Kaien said earnestly. "In my eyes, Sister Ino isn't old at all. You're in the prime of your beauty."

"Really?" Ino opened her eyes and looked at Kaien excitedly.

"Do I look like I'm lying?" Kaien pointed at his nose, feigning seriousness.

"Pfft!" Ino couldn't help laughing.

"You look especially beautiful when you smile," Kaien said sincerely.

"Thank you," Ino replied shyly, her cheeks flushed as she lowered her head.

Everything Kaien did made Ino incredibly happy. Her beauty—her worth—was finally being acknowledged.

She hugged Kaien's neck tightly, blew warm breath into his ear, and whispered softly.

"Today, as long as we don't cross the final line… I'll agree to anything you want."

"Ah?" Kaien looked frustrated. He had thought he could finally eat meat today.

"This is a restaurant," Ino said coquettishly, lightly punching him. "How could we do that here?"

"Then your place? My place? Or should we get a room?" Kaien asked with a mischievous grin.

"No way!" Ino said shyly, her cheeks burning.

"Today's only the first day. You've already taken enough advantage. Let's see your behavior later—if you're good, maybe I'll let you eat."
