Chapter 45 - The honeymoon

The villa was quiet except for the waves lapping gently against the shore outside. Anna stepped inside, her heart racing with a mix of excitement and nervousness. Everything about this place felt unreal — the soft candlelight, the scent of jasmine in the air, the secluded balcony that overlooked the moonlit sea.

Oliver didn't speak. He simply closed the door behind them and let his eyes roam over her, dark, intense, and possessive. Every glance, every lingering look made Anna's breath catch.

"You're mine," he whispered, stepping closer, letting his hands trace the curve of her waist. His touch was electric, claiming. "All of you. Every piece."

Anna's knees trembled, but she met his gaze. "I'm yours… only yours," she breathed, letting her hands drift to his chest.

He smiled, low and dark, as though savoring the thrill of their privacy. "Do you know how long I've waited for this? For us to be alone, completely alone?"

Anna swallowed hard. "I've waited too…" Her fingers grazed the edge of his shirt, teasing him, feeling the warmth beneath his skin.

Oliver chuckled softly, a sound that sent shivers down her spine. "Careful," he murmured, voice husky. "You're dangerous when you tease me like that."

"I think… you like it," she whispered, smiling.

"I do," he admitted, letting his hand brush her cheek slowly, thumb tracing her lips. "More than you'll ever know."

They stepped out onto the balcony. The moonlight bathed them in silver, and the gentle sea breeze made Anna's hair dance around her shoulders. Oliver pulled her close, their bodies pressed together.

"I could stay like this forever," he said, lips brushing her temple. "Just you, me, and the night."

Anna tilted her head back, letting him guide her gaze to his. "Forever… I'd like that," she murmured.

Hours passed in whispers, shared laughter, and intimate touches. Oliver held her close, brushing stray hairs from her face, letting his hands linger on her back, her waist, tracing the lines of her body in quiet admiration.

"Do you feel this?" he murmured, fingers tracing her spine. "This connection… this fire between us?"

Anna shivered. "I've felt it every day for ten years," she whispered. "And it's only stronger now."

Oliver pressed his forehead to hers. "Then we'll burn together… every moment, every day."

Emotional Claim

He leaned down, capturing her lips in a slow, deliberate kiss. It was soft at first, teasing, exploring, tasting. Then it deepened — an unspoken claim, a promise that he had waited ten years for this night, for her.

Anna's hands wove through his hair, holding him close, feeling the heat and the intensity of every heartbeat. "Yours," she whispered between kisses.

"Yes," he breathed back. "Completely… forever yours."

The moon rose higher, casting silver light across the villa. They curled together, wrapped in each other's arms, hearts beating in sync, whispering secrets, sharing memories, and laughing softly at their own playful teasing.

"I never want to let go," Oliver murmured, lips brushing her hair.

"You won't have to," Anna whispered. "I'm yours. Always."

And for the first time in ten years, both of them felt truly complete, claimed, and utterly in love, wrapped in a night of dark-romantic intensity, intimacy, and unspoken promises — a honeymoon that marked the beginning of their forever.
