Raihan finally reached his new 'S-Rank' apartment. It was a luxury penthouse, but there was a catch. The building was known as 'The Screaming Tower' because it was built on an ancient burial ground.
"Here is your key, sir," Director Marcus said, trembling slightly. "Just a heads-up... three other heroes moved out of here this week because of... well, 'unseen roommates'."
"As long as they don't touch my pillow, I don't care," Raihan yawned, slamming the door.
He walked into the dark living room. Suddenly, the temperature dropped to freezing. A pale, translucent figure with hollow eyes floated out of the wall.
"LEAAAVVVE THISSSS PLACCEEE..." the ghost shrieked, its voice echoing with deathly cold.
Raihan didn't scream. He didn't even flinch. He just looked at the ghost, then at the thermostat on the wall.
"Hey, Mr. Ghost," Raihan said, rubbing his eyes. "Since you're already floating there, can you turn the heater up to 24 degrees? It's a bit chilly."
The ghost froze. "I AM THE VENGEFUL SPIRIT OF THE DARK! I WILL CONSUME YOUR SOUL!"
"Yeah, yeah, soul-consuming later," Raihan muttered, walking past the ghost toward the sofa. "I just closed a dimensional rift. I'm exhausted. Also, my Auto-Cleaning Skill is broken. It threw away my favorite snacks."

The ghost sensed the terrifying mana hidden behind Raihan's laziness. It remembered seeing the news—this was the guy who tucked a portal into bed.
"I... I can do the laundry too," the ghost whispered, its terrifying form shrinking into a small, shy-looking blue flame.
"Good," Raihan said, falling onto the bed. "Wake me up never. And tell the other ghosts to keep it down. If I hear one more chain rattling, I'm calling a priest to turn you all into night-lights."
