While the entire kingdom was trembling in fear because a giant dragon had arrived at the city gates, breathing fire, where was our hero? He was lying on his old broken bed, thinking—"Man, if only the dragon breathed a cool breeze instead of fire, I would have had a great sleep today."
When the King's soldiers came to him in desperation, he opened one eye and said, "Have you guys tried talking to the dragon? Maybe he just wants some attention." The soldiers were stunned! Eventually, they dragged him by force in front of the dragon. As the dragon lunged toward him, the Lazy Hero yawned and said, "Brother Dragon, you're screaming so much, doesn't your throat hurt? Here, have a lozenge."
The dragon was taken aback by such strange behavior. It had never seen a human who, instead of being afraid, was looking for a place to sleep. The Lazy Hero then went and lay down under the dragon's massive wing and said, "The heat from your body is actually quite useful in winter. You should be my heater instead." Surprisingly, the dragon surrendered to his immense laziness and confidence and calmed down. The kingdom was saved again, and our hero took a long nap right on the dragon's back.
