Malakai's fury dissipated, replaced by curiosity. Arachne's flirtatious dance was mesmerizing, her movements weaving a spell around him.
As he lowered his sword, Arachne's smile grew wider. She glided closer, her eyes locked on Malakai's.
"You're not like the others," she whispered, her breath caressing his ear. "You have a certain... spark within you."
Malakai's cheeks flushed, his heart racing. He felt a strange connection to Arachne, one that went beyond mere curiosity.
"What do you want from me?" Malakai asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Arachne's smile grew mischievous. "Oh, Malakai... I want to show you the truth about yourself."
Malakai knew he needed her, because he was little when his families were killed, so he didn't exactly know fully about himself, he asked arachne to tell him about his life.
Arachne's expression softened, her eyes filled with a deep understanding. "Come, Malakai," she said, her voice gentle. "Let us walk among the trees, and I will tell you the story of your life."
As they strolled through the forest, the trees seemed to lean in, as if listening to Arachne's words.
"You were born to a powerful family of demons," Arachne began. "Your parents were loved and respected by all, and they adored you, their only child."
Malakai's eyes widened, his heart aching with longing.
"But one fateful night, a rival clan attacked your family's stronghold," Arachne continued. "Your parents were killed, and you were left alone, a tiny, helpless child."
Malakai's breath caught, memories he thought were lost forever rising to the surface.
"I was the one who found you," Arachne said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I took you in, kept you safe, and watched you grow into the powerful demon you are today."
Malakai's eyes locked onto Arachne's, a mix of emotions swirling within him.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Malakai asked, his voice trembling.
Arachne's smile was sad. "You weren't ready, Malakai. But now, you are."
Malakai didn't understand what she meant, all he wanted now was to break his curse and return back with Sophia,
A singular focus, Malakai's desire to break the curse and be with Sophia drives him forward.
"I understand that this is a lot to take in, Malakai," Arachne said, her expression empathetic. "But know this: breaking the curse will not be easy. It will require great sacrifice and determination."
Malakai's jaw set in determination. "I'm willing to do whatever it takes. I want to be human again, to be with Sophia without fear of harming her."
