Mrs. Shaw stood in place, watching their expressions as they went upstairs one after the other. She knew something must be wrong again.
Sigh. She didn't know what was going on with the young couple. They were at odds every other day. She wondered when they would ever make up.
"Open the door." Damian Xavier stood outside, staring at the door Aria Sterling had shut tight. His tone was cold and heavy.
He had reined in his commanding tone, but the words that left his mouth still carried a trace of intimidation.
He quickly guessed that her attitude was because he had given the collaboration project to the Sterling Group.
Aria Sterling remained silent inside for a long time. She simply didn't want to deal with him.
"Dinner is ready. Come out and eat."
To her surprise, Damian Xavier didn't seem angry. He was just reminding her to eat. His tone was the same as before, but perhaps a little softer.
