Maya's POV
After my breathing returned to normal and the crushing weight on my chest finally lifted, I felt absolutely ridiculous. Penny had been completely right about everything. I had created this twisted image of Sebastian in my mind, transforming him into some heartless businessman who would see our baby as nothing more than an inconvenience.
But that wasn't who Sebastian was at all. He wasn't the cold, calculating executive that my fears kept painting him as. This was the same man who appeared in our kitchen with steaming hot chocolate whenever he discovered me in tears during those early days of our marriage. The man who gently held my hair away from my face when illness struck and refused to sleep, checking my temperature throughout the night. The man who guided me through moonlit vineyard walks, sharing precious memories of growing up in Solivian. The man who honored me with my own vineyard name, a sacred tradition reserved exclusively for beloved Sterling wives.
