"Hey."
Tay felt himself turn around.
"I need to talk to you," Jimmy muttered, and Tay nodded, "we can talk right here."
"In private," Jimmy said.
"Okay."
The two of them started to walk, "about the whole ceo top thing, I am not even mad about it…" Jimmy cut him off, "It's not about that."
Tay raised his eyebrow as he and the awkward man next to him continued to walk into one of the secluded meeting rooms.
"What's up with you?" Tay asked as Jimmy sat down.
Tay did the same, following his lead.
"Uh, where's your wife at?"
"Here, why?" Tay looks around awkwardly. The two of them had talked before, but they weren't really friends or even acquaintances, for that matter. So Jimmy asking about New was weird, very weird.
"Like where exactly?"
Tay gave the man a weird look, "he is happily married, thank you very much."
"I do not want him. I just want to know where he is, more specifically, where the guy he's been with all day is."
Tay gulped. He didn't have a script on how he was supposed to answer these kinds of questions. He didn't know what he was supposed to say, more or less what he was even allowed to say.
"I am not sure. I know they have been walking around. Should I be worried?" Tay asked, pulling out his phone to text New.
"No. It's just…"
"Sea?"
"Yeah, him. He ran out when we were talking, and I need to talk to him," Jimmy said.
"About what?" Tay raised his eyes, consciously putting his phone down.
"He's pregnant."
"No way," Tay said, faking his shock.
"I know, I don't even know why I am telling you this, but I figured you would know something about it."
"Yeah, uh, New didn't tell me anything about it, but what does that have to do with you?" Tay said slowly, being careful of what he was saying.
"Apparently, he got pregnant when the two of us had sex, but I don't believe it."
"Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why don't you believe it?" Tay asked, making sure to secretly type their conversation to send to New, who would definitely ask him about details later.
"I mean, I don't know. One night stand, omegas say they are pregnant all the time even when I use a condom, so I think he is just saying that for my money," Jimmy muttered.
"You have sex without condoms all the time?" Tay asked, concern etched on his face.
"I mean, I don't have sex that often, and when I do, it's with condoms. Sea was just…I got to in the moment with him."
"So you had sex without a condom?"
"I mean, yeah."
"Then why wouldn't he be pregnant? Are you slow?" Tay asked him.
"I think he is trying to use me for my money."
"He has money," Tay said.
"How do you know that?"
"He's best friends with my fucking husband, why wouldn't I know that? He's 26, what, 6'3 or something, and he is an up-and-coming boxer; he has money."
"Oh," Jimmy said, and that is all that he could muster up.
"Yeah, and Sea isn't that type of guy to just go sleep around with anyone. He spends all his time at New's gym, cuddled up on him or babysitting our kids, he doesn't really go out and party and drink," Tay said.
"He doesn't?"
"No. He's got some vendetta against going out, something with an ex, I don't know, I am not allowed to know those details."
Jimmy nodded.
"Is he an omega?"
"Yeah."
"But he's so big."
"Hey, New is too. It's mainly genetics, and then the whole thing with the suppressants. That's why they both are so muscular."
"Well, at least with New, you don't have to worry about ruining your reputation. I mean, he's a big guy, but at least he's like calm and submissive," Jimmy said.
"Excuse me?" Tay asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Like if you were in my situation and New got pregnant, he'd be so docile and cute about it and wouldn't want to tell a soul. But Sea, on the other hand, I feel like he is going to try and do something that will ruin my company."
"You are full of yourself. I am surprised you cracked Sea's shell."
"I am just worried, I mean, if he is really pregnant, I have to take precautions and just stuff like that."
"Do you know what you need to do?"
"What?"
"Get your head out of your own ass, and then actually get to know Sea. I mean, I was in the same situation, what, like 14 years ago? I was 21, got New pregnant by accident, hardly knew him."
"And what, did you live happily ever after?"
"He kicked my fucking ass, hey, I still have scars from him. He was so mad about his boxing career, I didn't even know a person could get that mad. And then after Josie was born," Tay felt himself start to smile, "I mean, it was only up from there. Might have been one of the happiest moments of my life."
Jimmy let out a small laugh as he smiled too, "Man, I just don't know. I mean, if he is really pregnant, am I ready to be a dad?"
"Do you think he is?" Tay asked.
"I mean, yeah. Do you see him with your kids? He's really good with them, doesn't seem to have a care in the world."
"He's a good uncle, I will give him that, but once he is done, he can hand them back off to New, with your actual kids, you can't do that."
"Right," Jimmy sighed, his mind racing.
"I mean, Sea is cute, I will give him that. He's not hard on the eyes, he has a cute face when he's being fucked too."
"You are a pervert," Tay asked with a weird look.
"Meh," Jimmy said with a shrug.
"I think that the only right move here would be talking to Sea and trying to be in the baby's life. Because if you try and never see him again, you failed as an alpha and you are a coward."
"Did your parents say that when you got New pregnant?"
"You know they did. And I was so mad. So fucking mad. But New's personality made it all worth it. I think Sea, at least he makes New laugh and New loves him probably more than he loves me, so I think he will do the same for you. His walls are just up high."
"Cause of the ex?"
"Yes. I think try to tone down the ego and the whole alpha thing, and you can swoop him right off his feet."
"Do you have his number?"
Tay reached for his phone, which he was supposed to be writing notes on, and then stopped. He looked back over at Jimmy, who now had his eyebrow raised. "Actually, that's too easy. Why don't you go find his number?"
"Dude, how the fuck am I supposed to do that?"
Tay shrugged, standing up, "I don't know, figure it out."
"You're a bitch," Jimmy said, also standing up.
"Do some research, he is everywhere online. Thats' my advice," Tay said. "Actually, I don't even think I'm allowed to talk to you right now, so don't tell New about this or he will kill us both." And just like that, Tay left Jimmy standing there with more questions than he started with.
And these thoughts of the man from that night and the man in the bathroom today filled his head, and he didn't know what to do. He sighed. He knew what the right thing was, but he wasn't sure if he was really ready for it.
Ready to settle down and start a family after all this time, especially with someone he hardly knew anything about.
His dreams unfolded way differently then this. He would have his meet-cute, his romantic dates, he would get married, and then worry about pregnancy and children.
But now, now he is standing here, with a pregnant omega, whose handsome face he can't get out of his brain. Whose muscular but soft body filled his head. Whose everything filled his head with perverted thoughts he shouldn't be thinking or feeling for someone pregnant with his child.
