Whispers starts to go around the guild and some people walk up to me.
"Night Mode? Learner? What kind of dammed unique skills are those? Are you going to be a scholar that pulls all nighters? Kid, you really shouldn't be here"
"Is this a joke?"
The men around the place starts laughing as they continue drinking their beer. I feel so embarrassed, why does my skills have to sound so lame? Suddenly, Ragar grabs the man that said my skills were bad.
"You shouldn't judge people by their skills, and besides, it's not like you know what they do anyways" Ragar said, angrily.
"And? Why shouldn't we judge it by how it is, it sounds so damned weak. Wait... are you... Ragar the Lightning Swordsman!?" The man sounds shocked as he kneels down on the ground, apologizing to Ragar rapidly.
Ragar sighs "I've already abandoned that name years ago, now I'm just Ragar. Ragar, the guy with the unique skill Lightning Touch and Turbo Charge".
Lightning Touch, a unique skill that electrify anything the user touches, in Ragar's case, his whole sword. Turbo Charge, it triples the user's speed and also greatly increase lightning based attacks. The only downside is that it doesn't last long and has a high magic drain. Ragar had learned to control his skills and uses Turbo Charge right when he attacks, or to dodge. His incredibly high base attack power matched with his skills made him one of the top A ranked adventurers.
"So... you won't beat me up?" The man asks, still other ground.
"Those are just rumors, baseless rumors, I've never beaten fellow adventurers up" Ragar corrected him.
I let out a small sigh of relief. For a moment there, I actually thought he was really going to beat him up, but I guess he's fine. Ragar was a very intimidating man, but at heart, he's a very kind guy. Wait, I got the skill Appraisal, so... can I use it on myself?
"Appraisal" I said, quietly.
"Night Mode, this unique skill allows the user to see up to twenty percent better in the dark, in addition, the user's eyes will turn red and they're magic power will triple. This skill is a passive".
Wait, my eyes turns red even on earth, does this mean that I had a skill before this? But how could that happen? My parents were both ordinary people.
"Learner, this unique skill allows the user to learn at a much faster rate, in addition, the user has a small chance to learn other unique skills".
"Appraisal, this unique skill allows the user to view items and beings differently then normal. This Appraisal is unique among normal Appraisals because it can appraise skills and unique skills".
Wait, so does this mean I can copy skills and learn faster? But it said only a small chance though. My Appraisal also seems to be different from normal ones too. Maybe Learner is why I learned Magical Slash so quickly?
