But suddenly, in the middle of the road, the car broke down and it was not starting again. Then one of the four friends said that this was a bad omen and maybe they should not go into that forest. He said that maybe the people were right. But no one listened to him. Somehow they managed to fix the car.
After that, one of the four friends was driving the car while the other three started feeling sleepy and fell asleep. While driving carefully, he suddenly saw something passing in front of the moving car. He suddenly applied the brakes and stopped the car. Everyone woke up because the car had stopped with a sudden jerk.The other three friends woke up in fear and asked, "What happened? Why did you suddenly stop the car? That brake was so sudden!"
The driver was trembling with fear. His hands were shaking on the steering wheel.
"I… I saw something," he said in a frightened voice. "Something passed in front of the car. I think people were right… maybe we shouldn't have come here."
But except for one friend who believed in ghosts and spirits, no one really listened to him . The others thought it was just his imagination.
So they kept moving deeper and deeper into the forest.
As the car went further inside, a strange feeling slowly surrounded them. It was a feeling none of them could explain. Their hearts felt heavy, their breathing became uneven, and an unknown fear started filling the air inside the car.
Suddenly, all four of them started crying. None of them understood why. Tears were falling from their eyes uncontrollably.The car stood silently in the middle of the dark forest.
The engine was still running, but none of them spoke. The strange feeling in the air had not disappeared.
After a few minutes, one of the friends slowly wiped her tears and said in a trembling voice,
"Why… why were we crying? What just happened to us?"
No one had an answer.
Suddenly, the friend who believed in ghosts looked outside the window. Her face turned pale.
"Did… did you see that?" He whispered.
"See what?" the others asked nervously.
He slowly pointed toward the trees.
Between the dark trees, something was standing there.
A tall shadow… completely still.
At first, they thought it was just a tree.
But then it moved.
The shadow slowly stepped forward.
Everyone inside the car froze with fear.
The driver quickly locked the doors.
"Don't move… don't make any sound," he whispered.
The shadow kept coming closer.
Then suddenly…
THUD!
Something hit the back of the car.
All four friends screamed.All four friends screamed and turned around to look at the back window of the car.
But there was nothing there.
The forest behind them was completely dark and silent. The tall trees were standing still, and the wind had stopped blowing.
"Did something hit the car?" one of them asked in a shaking voice.
No one answered.
Suddenly, the headlights of the car began to flicker. The light turned dim… then bright… then dim again.
The driver tried to start the car again. She pressed the accelerator nervously.
"Come on… start… start!" she whispered.
But the car suddenly turned off.
The entire forest became silent and dark.
Only the faint moonlight was visible through the trees.
Then they heard something.
Footsteps.
Slow… heavy footsteps coming from outside the car.
Step… step… step…
The sound was getting closer.
One of the friends slowly looked through the window. Her eyes widened in horror.
Standing a few feet away from the car was a tall figure.
It looked like a person… but something about it was terribly wrong.
Its body was thin and unnatural, and its face was hidden in the darkness.
Then slowly… it lifted its head and looked directly at the car.The figure slowly raised its head and looked directly at the car.
Inside the car, no one moved. No one even dared to breathe loudly.
The strange figure began walking slowly toward them.
Step… step… step…
The sound of its footsteps echoed in the silent forest.
One of the friends whispered in fear, "Don't open the door… no matter what happens."
The driver quickly tried to start the car again. Her hands were shaking badly.
"Please start… please start…" she whispered nervously.
But the car still wouldn't start.
The figure was now standing just a few steps away from the car.
Suddenly, the headlights flickered again and for one second the light fell directly on the figure's face.
Everyone inside the car gasped in horror.
Its face looked unnatural… pale and empty… with a strange smile slowly forming on its lips.
Then suddenly it lifted one long arm and pointed toward the deeper part of the forest.
And in a low, whispering voice it said,
"You… should not… have come here."
