Chapter 25
GEORGIA'S POV
I scrambled to my feet, staring at the mangled heap of plastic and glass in pure disbelief. My brain struggled to process the sight. Had she really just destroyed Jaime's property right in front of me?
What was the point of that!?
"Why would you do that?" I demanded, my voice tight with anger. Instead of looking guilty, she just glared at me as if I were the one who had committed a crime.
I was completely floored.
"Answer my question, and maybe I'll answer yours," she replied with a haughty tilt of her head. "How could you even do such a thing?"
"How could I do what?" I asked, my brows knitting together in confusion.
"How could someone as lowly as you think it's okay to raise your voice at Jaime? Every time I hear how you treated him, it makes my blood boil. I get so angry I feel like I'll lose my mind if I don't do something drastic," she spat, her hands moving frantically to match her theatrics.
