Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 5-SPARK OF CURIOUSITY

For the next few days, Allen, Steve, and Lily barely left the workshop. The old blueprints from the basement covered every inch of the desk, their corners weighed down by screwdrivers and empty mugs.Steve held a magnifying lens over the faded lines.

"The structure's like a power engine—but this circuit doesn't match any modern pattern."

Allen traced the markings. "These notations look like chemical symbols… but twisted. Someone encrypted them."

Lily leaned closer, pointing to a smudge at the corner of the paper. Under the light, faint letters appeared—handwritten initials: S & S.

 "Sugar and Salt," Lily whispered.

"No way," Steve said. "That can't be us… these documents are from the seventies."

"Or maybe someone before us used the same codenames," Allen replied quietly.

Their curiosity grew sharper by the hour. They scanned the pages, redrew the missing pieces, and realized that the design mentioned something revolutionary — a fusion of mechanical energy and organic cells.

"They were trying to create living power," Allen murmured.

"And they failed," Lily added. "The notes end abruptly—'Core unstable.'"

Steve leaned back, eyes burning with thought.

"Then maybe it's our turn to finish what they started."

Outside, lightning flickered faintly over the desert sky, as if history itself approved the spark they had just reignited.
