The two comrades were sweating a little as they climbed a steep, secretive path on Mount Fujiyama. Seonghwah panted a little as he tried to keep up with Xinyue Who was moving with the speed of a mountain goat. They had been walking for at least an hour, thats what Seonghwah thought, actually they had been walking up a steep incline for twenty minutes so as to reach the secret hideout cum home of the other superheroes that Xinyue had mentioned. He was thinking about how powerful the other superheroes and how they managed to solve crimes without exposing themselves. He was thinking that they must have a really sweet gym in their home for training and they must be really serious and cool. But little did he know, superheroes were also humans.

A team of fishermen on the coast of Japan hauled their net out of the water, they were struggling with the net tonight. Finally, a good catch after so many weeks; they thought. But, when they pulled the net up; instead of a lot fish, they saw glimpses of tanned flesh and torn black cloth among a few fish. The leader of the group furrowed his brows, "This is not right. Quick! Pull it in!". When the net was finally pulled in, it was quickly opened up and a very tall and muscular woman rolled out from between the fish. She was breathing very weakly and her leggings were torn so much, they looked like shorts. When the fishermen tried to touch her, she moved a little. Then a brave guy tried to touch her and she suddenly opened her eyes and grabbed the throat of the person who had touched her. She looked around with the amber eyes of a lioness and the let go of the throat that guy. She then stood up and walked away without saying a word.

They were nearing the lair, as told by Xinyue, but Seonghwah didn't really see anything very heroic or secretive. But, as the path narrowed a bit more they started to hear the slight and distant blaring of a television. "They are at it again.", said Xinyue, smirking a little. "At what?", asked Seonghwah, puzzled. As they neared the sound even more, Seonghwah started to understand some snippets of the sound. But as the path ended, they saw a cave with an opaque glass entrance, like the ones in Japanese public toilets. Xinyue, swiftly rushed to the door and hastened to unlock it. "Come quickly, the commercial break's ending; you might miss their attention.", she said. "Huh?"

The television blared, "…and now back to! The war of the great muffins!". A pair of icy blue eyes turned to look at the others, "Hey, should we contact Xinyue? She is late.". But, right then, the doors opened.

Seonghwah walked through the doors to find himself in a huge and posh living area with a forest green couch in the centre, cream-coloured walls and good lighting. On the front wall, was a really big television set which was playing "The war of the great muffins" on full volume and three people, along with a dog-like creature, were sitting on the couch, watching it with rapt attention. Suddenly and unexpectedly, Xinyue wolf-whistled and all the three team members looked back. There was a boy with slightly tan skin and voluminous black hair who looked at him with his captivating golden eyes and smiled a little; another, older boy with dark black hair and a white fringe complimented by a pair of icy blue eyes through which he was observing him carefully and lastly, a girl with jet black hair with streaks of dark brown and eyes as green as a forest canopy, who looked at him and smiled warmly, it was as if the sun was shining through some clouds. As for the dog-like creature, it turned back its small, clever head and started to observe him through black eyes as his pointed ears quirked up. It stood up and started to walk towards Seonghwah on long, stilt-like legs and bent down to sniff him. It was at least three feet tall and had a regal mane around his neck and dark, orangish-brown fur. After the dog, the golden eyed boy stood up and walked towards him. He was well built, with lean muscles in his arms and a good V-taper, with his muscularity and good looks, he looked like a highly paid movie actor. He walked up to Seonghwah and extended his hand for a handshake, "I'm Enzo Silva A.K.A Anomaly, the coolest, strongest and best looking hero you will ever meet.", he said with a smile. His confidence almost made you believe what he said.
Then the girl came forward and leaned a bit towards him, "I'm Vaidehi Srinivasan and I'm a superhero from India. Pleased to meet you! Whats your name?", she asked as she raised her eyebrows amicably. Seonghwah was absolutely stunned by her beauty and didn't even hear Enzo as he cursed loudly and said, "GAH! I forgot to ask his name!". Seonghwah was gaping at her as she said, "YO! Earth to new guy!". Seonghwah then said, "I am Choi Seonghwah, a wannabe superhero from Korea. Nice to meet you too." The girl smiled and walked back to the couch to sit with Enzo, the boy with the golden eyes. The last boy didn't come to Seonghwah, he just smiled across the room and motioned with his hands to come sit with him. And thus, for the first time in days, Seonghwah sat with someone as an equal, as a friend. Carefree, calm and happy.
But there is no peace for those who choose to maintain it.
