Yara Quillan found it baffling. There hadn't even been a screen test, so how could the decision have been made?
She had worked so hard, all just to give Sharon Grant a taste of what it felt like to lose.
'But now, it's over before it even began?'
Yara Quillan wanted to laugh. The production company was a rival of Jared Monroe's, which was why she hadn't told him about the role. She didn't want to put him in a difficult position.
Yara Quillan went to the film's production company herself. No matter what, they had to give her an explanation. Otherwise, she had every reason to sue.
When she arrived at Imperial Crown Pictures, the receptionist recognized her. She probably guessed why Yara was there and just had her wait by the entrance.
Everyone at the company already knew that she had been dropped from the movie.
A little while later, however, the receptionist came over. "The CEO isn't in the office right now," she told Yara Quillan.
"Then do you know when he'll be back?"
