Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 Run for your lives.

Locke wasn't entirely wrong; although Yu Xiaogang's reputation was terrible, he still possessed considerable knowledge.

  That couldn't be denied.

Although most of his theories were plagiarized, earning him the nickname "Knowledge Tailor,"

  Locke was mistaken.

Yu Xiaogang would never teach him, and even if he were interested, Yun Feng wouldn't dare!

He desperately wanted to avoid Yu Xiaogang.

If Yu Xiaogang took a liking to this unique Blue Silver Grass mutated martial soul on the entire continent, wouldn't he be doomed?

He didn't want to be used as a guinea pig.

However, seeing his grandfather's instructions, Yun Feng nodded seriously, indicating his agreement.

As for whether he would actually do it?

  Obviously not.

Yu Xiaogang picked up the certificate that had fallen to the ground and his pupils instantly contracted, clearly as if he had seen something extraordinary.

His gaze then shifted to Tang San, scrutinizing him from head to toe, his eyes filled with surprise.

"The proof is genuine, sir. On behalf of the academy, I apologize for what happened earlier. Please take care of this child."

Seeing how agreeable Yu Xiaogang was and his refined demeanor, Locke led Yun Feng to Yu Xiaogang and

  respectfully asked,

"Master, may I bring my grandson along to register?"

Yu Xiaogang frowned. This voice interrupted his conversation. He was currently contemplating how to persuade Tang San to become his disciple, so he was naturally quite displeased.

However, to leave a good impression on Tang San, he nodded.

  "Bring your proof here!"

Locke respectfully handed over Yun Feng's proof.

Yu Xiaogang only glanced at the level one soul power and then closed the book, not even looking at the martial soul. It

was completely unnecessary; with such a low level, even if he came to the academy, he would only be a useless waste.

"Alright, you can come in with me later."

After saying this, he gave the proof to Yun Feng.

Yun Feng nodded, not paying much attention to the matter.

After Yu Xiaogang finished speaking, he looked at Tang San and Old Jack.

Old Jack, seeing that it was a Soul Master apologizing to him, felt his vanity greatly satisfied and hurriedly waved his hands, saying,

"No need to apologize, no need to apologize. We were wrong too. Master, then we'll leave this child to you. Little San, you go in with the Master, but you must be obedient."

Tang San nodded but didn't speak.

Earlier, when this Master stopped the gatekeeper from rushing towards him, his left hand had already been raised, and the safety on his sleeve dart was off.

If this Master had spoken a moment later, perhaps the gatekeeper would have had a short arrow in his throat.

In Tang San's view, the gatekeeper's attack, coupled with his meanness, was already a death sentence.

Seeing that Tang San didn't speak, Jack gave Tang San a few more instructions before leaving.

The gatekeeper had already slipped to the side.

After all, this so-called Master was a friend of the Dean.

He couldn't afford to offend him.

Seeing that Yu Xiaogang had agreed, Locke also gave Yun Feng a few instructions, telling him that if all else failed, he should seek help from the Spirit Hall branch, as he knew many people there.

Yun Feng bowed to Locke and said earnestly,

  "I will, Grandpa!"

Seeing that Yun Feng was sensible, Locke didn't continue, smiled, turned around, and waved.

"I'm going to find an old friend for a few drinks. You go in with Master!"

Yu Xiaogang naturally heard Locke's instructions to Yun Feng. The words "Spirit Hall" made Yu Xiaogang slightly unhappy.

  However, he didn't say much.

Yu Xiaogang looked down at Tang San, forcing a smile, but his facial muscles seemed a bit stiff, making his smile somewhat unappealing.

He took Tang San's hand and said,

  "Let's go in."

Watching Yu Xiaogang holding Tang San's hand in one hand and clutching Tang San's certificate in the other, with his hand placed on his waist, Yun Feng twitched his lips, thinking to himself,

"This preferential treatment is really huge!"

Yun Feng also shouldered his bag and slowly followed behind Yu Xiaogang and Tang San.

After walking for a while, Yu Xiaogang turned to look at Tang San.

"Your name is written on the Spirit Hall's certificate, your name is Tang San, right?"

Tang San nodded truthfully and replied,

  "Yes, teacher!"

Yun Feng was numb; couldn't he have waited until he registered before starting this convincing act?

Sure enough, the moment this thought arose in Yun Feng's mind,

Yu Xiaogang said with a smile,

  "I'm not some teacher."

  Tang San was somewhat puzzled.

  "And who are you?"

Yu Xiaogang, seeing Tang San's gaze, slowly said,

"I'm just a guest here, eating and drinking for free. Call me Master, like everyone else. Everyone calls me that; I've even forgotten my own name. After all, there's a huge difference between Master and Teacher!"

"Unless...you really want me to be your teacher!"

Yun Feng didn't even want to complain anymore.

Tang San's extensive life experience from his previous life seemed to have vanished after becoming a child. He

was easily fooled by Yu Xiaogang's simple words.

"Will you teach me about martial soul cultivation?"

Master stopped, standing facing Tang San. "Are you willing?"

Tang San naturally stopped as well, looking up at Master. He didn't speak, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.

Yun Feng, fearing what would happen next and causing him misfortune, immediately said,

"Master, I need to pee. I'll go find out where to register!"

With that, Yun Feng took off running. He was terrified of Tang Shenwang's famous saying, "A path to death."

If Tang San were to overhear something terrible, he might just kill Yun Feng while he was sleeping!

  It wouldn't be worth it!

Seeing that Yun Feng was so sensible, saving him the trouble of chasing him away later, Yu Xiaogang nodded and remained silent.

After Yun Feng left, Yu Xiaogang looked at Tang San again, forcing a smile onto his stiff face.

"You really are a clever kid!"

  he thought to himself.

"I'll have to show some skill!"

Yu Xiaogang looked around, and seeing that Yun Feng was already far away, he raised his hand and ruffled Tang San's hair.

"Exceptionally talented and so clever, it seems I'll have to be persistent this time. After all, you're only the third person in the last hundred years to possess twin martial souls."

Hearing Yu Xiaogang's words, Tang San was startled, his gaze towards Grandmaster immediately becoming wary, his left wrist subtly rising, a look of suspicion and uncertainty in his eyes.

Yu Xiaogang, however, was completely unaware that he had just narrowly escaped death.

He looked at Tang San calmly and smiled,

"Aren't you wondering how I knew you had twin martial souls?"

As he spoke, he shook the certificate that Old Jack had given him.
