I grasped my wound with my hand.
It was a long cut that ran down my neck.
Though I pressed it as hard as I could, there was no end to the blood dripping down my hands.
The scent of blood filled the air.
My body trembling with fear, I looked ahead.
Hirkan’s pupils constricted suddenly, and everything happened in less than a blink of an eye.
Hirkan began to charge at me with ridiculous speed.

Zahid, who was right behind Hirkan, raised his sword.
Blinding flames wrapped around his silver blade.
The blazing sword covered in flames slashed through the darkness and pierced Hirkan’s stomach.
“......!!”
Hirkan’s eyes grew wide open, and from his gaping lips out came dark, dark blood.
