Chapter 1 - The Worst Beginning

The night was cold, and the street lights flickered like they were tired of shining. In the middle of a quiet lane stood a broken, old guest house with a crooked board hanging at the front—"Jugaad Junction." The name itself sounded like a joke, and honestly, the place looked like one too.

Inside, three young men sat in silence, staring at a pile of unpaid bills on a dusty table.

Raghveer "Ragz" Kashyap rubbed his forehead in frustration. His messy hair and tired eyes showed how badly life had been treating him. He had once dreamed of becoming a famous film director, but now, he couldn't even direct his own life.

Across from him, Zoravar "Zoro" Bhasin was lying dramatically on the sofa like a fallen hero. His face looked like he had just lost an award he never even had.

Meanwhile, Fakira "Fixer" Naqvi was counting coins… again and again… like somehow the number would magically increase.

Finally, Ragz broke the silence.

"This is it… we are finished."

Zoro slowly sat up, placing a hand on his chest as if he had been stabbed.

"Don't say that, Ragz… it hurts my struggling actor soul."

Fixer sighed and threw the coins back on the table.

"Soul baad me sambhalna… pehle rent sambhal lete hain. We literally have 327 rupees."

The room fell silent again.

Three grown men… and not even enough money to survive the week.

Ragz stood up and started pacing.

"No guests, no money, no future… why did we even open this stupid place?"

Zoro suddenly stood up with full energy.

"Because one day, this place will become famous! People will come here, take selfies, and say—this is where legends struggled!"

Fixer looked at him blankly.

"Haan… aur tab tak hum bhook se mar jayenge."

Zoro froze.

"That… is also possible."

Ragz angrily kicked a chair.

"We need a plan. Right now."

Fixer leaned forward, eyes shining with his usual dangerous ideas.

"Okay… what if we fake being a luxury guest house?"

Ragz stopped.

"We don't even have working lights."

"We'll call it 'romantic candle experience'." Fixer replied confidently.

Zoro clapped excitedly.

"Yes! And I'll act like a celebrity owner!"

Ragz stared at both of them in disbelief.

"You two are idiots."

Before anyone could reply, a sudden sound broke the moment.

A soft… faint… cry.

All three froze.

"…Did you hear that?" Zoro whispered.

Again.

A baby's cry echoed through the silent building.

Ragz slowly turned toward the door.

"There's no way…"

Fixer stood up.

"Please tell me that's your phone ringtone."

Zoro shook his head dramatically.

"No… my ringtone is sad violin."

The cry grew louder.

All three slowly walked toward the entrance like they were in a horror movie.

Ragz carefully opened the door.

And then… everything changed.

There, right in front of the guest house…

…was a baby.

Wrapped in a soft blanket.

Crying.

Alone.

For a few seconds, no one spoke.

No one moved.

Zoro blinked.

"…Is this… a prank?"

Fixer leaned closer.

"Bro… prank me itna cute nahi hota."

Ragz looked around the empty street.

No one.

Nothing.

Just silence.

The baby cried louder, its tiny hands moving in the air.

Ragz hesitated… then slowly picked the baby up.

The crying softened.

The baby looked at him.

And suddenly…

…smiled.

Zoro gasped dramatically.

"IT SMILED AT YOU! YOU ARE THE CHOSEN ONE!"

Fixer placed a hand on his chin seriously.

"Congratulations Ragz… you are now a father."

Ragz's eyes widened.

"SHUT UP! I AM NOT A FATHER!"

But deep down… something felt different.

Something strange.

Something… life-changing.

That night, in a broken guest house with no future…

A baby had just arrived.

And unknowingly…

This was the beginning of a story that would change all their lives forever.
