"Here, your orange juice!"

Because he wasn't of legal drinking age yet, Baishui didn't indulge in alcohol. Instead, on a small island about thirty nautical miles from Kuro Island, he had found a type of orange tree bursting with juice to make a makeshift beverage. It tasted absolutely incredible.

After trying it just once, Baishui had fallen entirely in love with the flavor.

"Haha, my lovely wife's cooking really is the best! This is delicious!"

Baishui ate with the typical ferocity of most pirates—taking massive, tearing bites of meat and gulping down huge bowls of liquid (in his case, orange juice). His table manners were downright atrocious.

But Aki clearly didn't mind. Sitting across from him, she quietly and peacefully enjoyed her meal.

Looking at her like this, one truly understood the meaning of the phrase "a feast for the eyes."

Night quietly fell.

On this secluded island with little to no entertainment, Baishui spent another four hours training after dinner, meticulously honing his mastery over his Devil Fruit powers.

Aki sat beside him, quietly knitting his clothes.

What an enviable couple!

And then, after holding back for an entire month, Baishui pounced on the little sheep that was Aki like a starving wolf. Not even bones were left behind in a night of passion.

The next day!

Baishui tried to train with heavy, dark bags under his eyes. His footsteps were completely unsteady, looking like a man who had entirely overdrawn his stamina.

By the time Aki woke up, the sun was already high in the sky.

Baishui had already prepared a nutritious breakfast. Once Aki finished eating, he suddenly broke the silence. "Let's skip training today. I'm taking you out to see the world. How does that sound?"

"Mhm!" Aki nodded, a glimmer of profound excitement dancing in her eyes.

In her entire life, she had never actually ventured out to see the world!

"Hold on tight, we're heading out!" Baishui instructed as he carried Aki onto a small, custom-built travel boat.

"Got it!" Aki nodded, securely wrapping her arms around Baishui's strong waist.

Though called a "small boat," it was actually quite spacious—twelve meters long and four meters wide, offering plenty of room for just the two of them.

Whoosh!

Baishui's eyes narrowed in focus. A flash of brilliant white light erupted from the stern, instantly propelling the boat forward at high speeds across the water.

Meanwhile, on Ship-Cutter Island!

This was a fifty-square-kilometer landmass where Marine Captain "Ship Cutter" T-Bone was currently stationed, responsible for patrolling the surrounding hundred nautical miles.

The island chain consisted of three smaller islands: Fore-Wheel Island, Hind-Heart Island, and Central Banyan Island.

Fore-Wheel and Hind-Heart were both commercial trading hubs. Only Central Banyan Island housed the Marine Branch, governed by strict military regulations where unauthorized personnel were strictly forbidden.

But at this exact moment, blaring alarms echoed relentlessly across Ship-Cutter Island. The port was swarming with Marine soldiers, and Captain T-Bone stood front and center.

"What in the world is happening? Why would a pirate with a bounty of 57 million Berries appear in a sea like the East Blue?!" T-Bone demanded, his expression intensely grim as he gripped his massive sword.

Less than a kilometer ahead of him loomed three colossal warships, each boasting a staggering draft of 160,000 tons. Identical black Jolly Rogers fluttered aggressively from their masts.

Standing at the bow of the lead ship was a massive behemoth of a man over five meters tall, backed by a crew of vicious-looking subordinates. On the other two ships stood five equally formidable pirates, each sporting distinct gear.

"Can someone please explain to me why the Fierce Tiger Pirates—a crew that belongs in the Grand Line—is currently invading the East Blue?!"

T-Bone felt a cold sweat breaking out on his forehead. The large hand gripping his blade was icy, and his mouth was completely dry.

The five-meter-tall giant on the flagship was Chris. He was a Zoan-type Devil Fruit user who had eaten a mutant variant of the Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Fierce Tiger. He boasted a bounty of 57 million Berries and a reputation for extreme brutality and bloodlust.

Over on the starboard ship stood Loki, the Heavy Swordsman, holding a bounty of 33 million Berries.

Beside him was Duvell the Catwoman, a Zoan user with the Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Black Cat, with a bounty of 32 million Berries.

There was also Zeke the Dwarf Hammer-Master (21 million Berries), Fenji the Fat Boxer (14 million Berries), and Jack the Black Gunner (9.5 million Berries)!

The combined bounty of the entire pirate crew totaled a staggering 166.5 million Berries!

A crew of this caliber had no business being anywhere outside the Grand Line. They were an existence that the East Blue simply did not have the manpower to oppose.

Currently, T-Bone lacked the monstrous strength he would possess five years later. Right now, the absolute maximum bounty he could comfortably handle was around 40 million Berries. Anything beyond that pushed him to his absolute limits.

And now, "Fierce Tiger" Chris had completely shattered the ceiling of what T-Bone could fight. Not to mention, the man had brought his entire crew to invade.

"A Marine Branch... Heh, I like it!"

Standing at the bow of his ship, Fierce Tiger Chris licked his lips, his eyes gleaming with a manic, murderous intent.

"Marines, surrender! You are no match for us!" Chris roared, his deep voice booming over the water, hoping to secure victory without drawing a single blade.

"Keep dreaming! Even if my body is smashed to pieces, I will never let you set foot on this island!" T-Bone bellowed back, his gaunt face a mask of absolute resolve. He wouldn't take a single step backward.

"Hahaha! If that's how it is, then don't blame me for what happens next!"

Chris hadn't genuinely expected T-Bone to surrender. The demand was simply a whim—a test to see if he could break their spirits without a fight.

"Advance!"

At Chris's command, the pirates across the three ships erupted into deafening battle cries. Like a pack of starving wolves catching the scent of blood, they brandished their weapons and howled at the sky.

"Let's go!" Chris told Loki and the others before leaping off the flagship. A small rowboat was already waiting in the water below to catch him.

"Fire!"

Seeing Chris and his five commanders speeding toward them on the small boat, T-Bone instantly ordered an artillery strike. They had to stop the pirates from making landfall.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

In an instant, the row of heavy cannons along the shore roared to life, launching a relentless barrage of explosive black shells toward Chris's approaching boat.

"Captain of the Guard, have we connected to Baishui's Den Den Mushi yet?!" T-Bone barked without taking his eyes off the sea.

"Reporting, Captain! Not yet! We haven't been able to reach him since this started!" a lieutenant responded, snapping a crisp salute.

"What is going on? What could Baishui possibly be doing right now? Of all times, why can't we reach him now?!" T-Bone's brows knit together in a tight, anxious scowl.

Whoosh!

Facing the incoming storm of cannon fire, Heavy Swordsman Loki and Catwoman Duvell launched themselves into the air, leaping directly toward the hurtling shells.

"Fierce Wind!" Loki roared. With a massive swing of his heavy sword, he unleashed a violent gale that momentarily stalled the cannonballs mid-air.

Using Loki as a springboard, Duvell bounded forward, closing the distance to the shells in a flash. She rapidly swung her razor-sharp claws.

"Lightning!"

Slash!

Five intersecting flashes of light ripped through the air. In a terrifying display of precision, Duvell sliced every single cannonball cleanly in half. The dud explosives plummeted uselessly into the ocean, kicking up geysers of seawater.

By the time gravity reclaimed them, Chris had already steered the small boat beneath them to break their fall. They were now less than half a mile from the shores of Ship-Cutter Island.

"Keep firing!" The Marine Major directing the artillery remained entirely unflustered, issuing his commands with calm precision.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Another volley of cannon fire erupted, darkening the sky as it rained explosive destruction down upon the small boat!

"Fierce Wind!"

Loki swung his greatsword with all his might, churning up another raging gale to intercept the bombardment.

"Chokkaku Senko: Bone O-Dori!"

T-Bone couldn't just stand by and watch any longer. The moment he acted, a massive, right-angled flying slash tore toward Chris, packing several times the destructive force of Loki's wind blades.

"Fenji, you're up!" Chris instructed the fat boxer behind him, entirely unbothered by the incoming attack.

"Hehehe, you got it, Captain!"

The portly man flashed a wide grin before his body rapidly inflated like a balloon. A dorsal fin suddenly jutted out from his back—Fenji was a Fish-man!

No wonder Chris had the sheer audacity to brave a hailstorm of artillery fire in a tiny rowboat.

Fenji dove seamlessly into the water and hoisted the small boat onto his back. However, the sheer density of the cannonballs combined with T-Bone's flying slash made it impossible to completely evade the barrage.

If they didn't dodge, the crew would be forced to scatter into the ocean. But out on the open sea, Devil Fruit users and humans alike had no foothold. Their only fate would be sinking, as Fenji couldn't possibly save all of them at once.

"Heh. A flying slash? Slashes are the last thing I'm afraid of!"

Shooting his crew a reassuring glance, Chris stomped hard on the boat, launching himself directly into the path of the cannon fire and the flying slash.

His fists blurred into a flurry of motion, throwing hyper-compressed, volatile bursts of air pressure. He rapidly detonated the cannonballs and T-Bone's slash mid-air, triggering a massive shockwave that whipped up a raging tempest over the sea.

"Advance!" Chris shouted gleefully as he landed back on the boat, now resting securely on Fenji's back.

"A Fish-man?! How do they have a Fish-man?!"

T-Bone's eyes nearly bulged out of his skull the moment he saw Fenji dive into the water. The revelation sent a cold chill racing down his spine.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

The Marines fired another volley, but this time, the Fish-man effortlessly maneuvered the boat past every single shell.

The defenders on the island could only watch in stunned disbelief!

"Lion King Barrage!"

Seizing the opening, Chris once again threw a rapid-fire barrage of punches. Countless compressed air blasts rained down on the Marine formation, immediately blowing away the front line of riflemen. Screams of agony echoed across the port.

Meanwhile, Fenji hit the gas. The remaining half-mile gap between them and the shore was cut in half in a mere two seconds.

"Oh no!"

T-Bone realized the danger too late. Before he could even strike back, a suffocating sense of impending doom washed over him. A dense, overwhelming swarm of air blasts engulfed his position, giving him absolutely zero time to issue orders to his men.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Even with his towering stature and immense physical strength, T-Bone was overwhelmed by the sheer, terrifying force of the blows, sent skidding backward for over twenty meters.

Over at the port!

Duvell the Catwoman darted forward. Using the Heavy Swordsman's momentum, she shot onto the island like a speeding harpoon.

Whoosh!

The second her feet touched the ground, Duvell plunged straight into the Marine ranks, kicking off a blood-soaked massacre. Before the soldiers could even register what was happening, casualties skyrocketed.

Thud! Loki the Heavy Swordsman made landfall next.

Crash! With Fenji's help, Chris hit the shore third!

Seconds later, the entire vanguard had successfully boarded the island!

The moment he landed, Chris fired off a flare signal to the fleet anchored a kilometer away. Seeing the signal, the pirate crews aboard the three warships let out a bloodthirsty roar and fired up their engines, bearing down on the port.

"Hahaha! Come on! Let's enjoy the thrill of the slaughter!" Chris laughed maniacally before charging straight at T-Bone like a runaway freight train.

The other four commanders scattered in different directions, moving far too fast for the Marine riflemen to aim or react.

Meanwhile... what about Baishui, the man whose Den Den Mushi had been unreachable this whole time? Where was he now?
