During the second week of August, Jin has been staying at y/n's house until her parents return from their company vacation in a week.
It was around this time that they began to spend more time together than ever before, which made Jin's fans suspicious of y/n. Some fans suggested that there was something happening between them, while others started looking into y/n.
As the other half of the fans investigated y/n, they uncovered something that shocked them. They found out that y/n is an excellent dancer who has won awards in several competitions, and she is the only one who has been with the members since the very beginning.
J-Hope, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, and Taehyung were at a café close by discussing the rumors circulating about Jin and y/n.
"I'm not sure if the rumors about Jin and y/n are true, but I haven't heard from them since the last time," J-Hope said, fiddling with his macchiato cup. "Are you talking about the rumors that they're dating in secret?" Jimin asked, sipping from his black coffee cup. "One thing is certain: they should have started dating after that 'day,'" Taehyung remarked, glancing at his mocha cup. "You're right, Taehyung, but I have a feeling that Jungkook here knows something. Think about it; he was the last one to talk to them from that 'day,'" Suga said, looking at Jungkook as he finished his iced Americano.
"Do you want the truth? Sure, I can tell you the truth about their relationship right now," Jungkook said as he stood up and tossed his caramel frappuccino into the trash.
He took a napkin, applied some gel sanitizer from the counter, and walked over to the table where the others were gathered.
Everyone leaned in close and paid attention to Jungkook's version of the story.
[Jungkook's POV]
Jungkook speaking: On the same day you all were with Namjoon, Jin visited y/n's place, where he collapsed in front of her due to the exhaustion from running all the way. It took him about 10 minutes to recover his breath, and he sat beside y/n while I was cooking. That's when Jin and y/n got lost in each other's gaze until I made a noise to grab their attention. Once I had their focus, the three of us shared a meal. After we finished eating, Jin mentioned that he would be staying with y/n until her parents returned from their company vacation next week. After I left, I'm not sure what happened.

"That's it? You should have stuck around to see what happened next," Jimin said with a fake yawn.
Suga nudged Jimin's shoulder.
"Don't be rude, Jimin. Also, since we're on this subject, didn't y/n mention something to you afterward or something?" Suga asked as he tossed his cup aside.
Taehyung, Jimin, and J-Hope did the same thing and went back to the table.
"To be honest, not really. I was hoping she would, but I haven't received any response," Jungkook replied, glancing out the window until he noticed Jin and y/n holding hands.
Jin and y/n walked into the coffee shop, still holding hands, and headed to the counter to order drinks before joining the others.
"Well, well, well, look at the lovebirds!" Taehyung said with a humorous smile. "Yes, indeed. In fact, you should refer her as my girlfriend," Jin replied, pulling out a chair for y/n to sit while he took the seat next to her.
"You two are dating?" J-Hope asked with a goofy expression. "Yes, sunshine, we've been dating since that karaoke incident," y/n said, her face lighting up. "So the rumors were true?" Jungkook asked, looking skeptical. "Rumors? Oh, you mean the dating one. Yep, that's true," Jin said, sipping his chilly café latte macchiato while y/n enjoyed her hot cocoa.
Y/n picked up her phone and noticed the POSTECH number displayed on the screen.
Y/n apologized and stepped into a nearby corner to answer the call.
"So, are you going to share the details about that day?" Taehyung asked with a goofy expression. "I think it's better if y/n tells you all about it since it was mostly her, with a little bit of me involved too. Once she finishes her phone call, you can ask her," Jin replied, indicating that y/n was approaching.
"You look excited? Should we be concerned?" Suga asked nervously. "First off, Suga, it's nothing bad; it's actually really big news. I got accepted into POSTECH," y/n exclaimed, bouncing with joy.
The entire table joined in her excitement before settling back down.
"That's amazing news, y/n! We're so proud of you. Now, before we get kicked out for what we did, could you tell us how you and Jin began dating?" Taehyung asked, signaling to the girl behind the counter that they would leave after this.
[Y/n's POV]
Y/n speaking: After the three of us finished our meal, Jungkook left my place, leaving just me and Jin behind.
"What do you want to do now?" y/n asked. "Good question. How about a singing competition? Do you still have that karaoke microphone I gave you several years ago?" Jin replied excitedly. "Actually, I do have it; let me go find it," y/n said, heading to her room.
Y/n looked everywhere but couldn't find it until she checked the far corner of her closet and found the box. She picked it up and opened it to see if the microphone was inside; it was.
Moments later, Jin helped y/n connect the karaoke microphone to the TV and chose the first song: "Spring Day" by BTS.
"I picked the song, so you're going to sing that one. After you finish, I'll give you a score. The first to hit 100 wins a prize," Jin said, shutting the blinds in the living room and turning off the lights. Now it resembled a real karaoke room.
"Jin, you know my singing isn't as good as yours," y/n said, nervously fumbling with the microphone. "Relax, we are singing for funsies. I won't judge your singing, not like kookie does to me sometimes," Jin replied, reclining on the sofa.
Y/n smiled widely; she turned around, took a deep breath, and began to sing as the beat dropped.
While y/n sang with a melancholy tone, Jin was concentrating on something else.
"I knew I was a genius when choosing this song. But this moment feels different from when we were in the karaoke room just hours ago. She sings well, lyrically," Jin thought, daydreaming and lost in y/n's singing.
When the song finished, y/n turned around with tears streaming down her face. Jin gave her a score of 10.
Y/n picked Jin's song, which was "Replay" by SHINee. She sat on the sofa, wiping her tears, and watched as Jin humorously sang along; this made y/n laugh uncontrollably.
After the song ended, y/n also gave Jin a score of 10.
This continued for the next 10 minutes, taking turns to sing a total of 5 songs including: "Mirotic" by TVXQ, "Abracadabra" by Brown Eyed Girls, "Hands Up" by 2PM, "Face" by NU'EST, and "10 Minutes" by Lee Hyori.
