Once they finished singing, they proceeded to brush their teeth and change into their pajamas. Jin was getting cozy on the sofa when y/n interrupted him.
"Are you sure you don't want to sleep in my room for today?" "Would you be comfortable with me being in the same room as you?" "I don't mind; it's not like we've shared a bed before. Remember that camping trip?" "You're right. I suppose I'll sleep on the floor if that makes you feel safe. I was planning to sleep on the sofa in the living room in case an intruder comes in."
Jin made y/n laugh while he stood there trying not to burst into laughter.
Jin took the blanket and pillow from the sofa and headed to y/n's room. He gently placed the pillow and blanket on the mattress that y/n had set up for him before he entered the room.
As y/n was braiding her hair, Jin began to feel butterflies in his stomach.
"It's just the two of us right now. I want to hold her close and kiss her. But wouldn't that be impolite? I need to take the lead without her suspecting anything," Jin thought, glancing at the posters in y/n's room.
"Oh Jin, I have a question for you." "What is it, y/n?" "The song you mentioned in the last week of May, will it be part of your album?" "The song? Yes, it will be on my album. But it's very special to me. Once you listen to it, you'll understand why it's special," Jin replied, getting up from the floor and taking y/n's left hand.
Y/n, standing near Jin and feeling puzzled, gazes up at him just before the unexpected moment begins.
Jin leans in and kisses y/n for 10 seconds before pulling back.
Y/n stands there looking flushed.
"Jin, what was that? You kissed me," y/n said, covering her mouth. "Why are you acting as if something happened unexpectedly?" Jin asked, giving a tiny giggle. "It was unexpected, but—" "But you've been waiting for it all along," Jin responded, smirking.
Y/n took a moment to think and realized, "Jin is right. I was expecting another kiss from him after our first kiss on Jeju Island, but this one felt special," she thought, smiling at Jin.
Y/n then ran into Jin's arms and hugged him tightly. While in his embrace, she asked if he wanted to date her, and Jin agreed.

"What a love story that is," Jimin said, pretending to cry. "You can't be serious about wanting a girlfriend, Jimin?" Taehyung teased. "Of course I am; I'm feeling lonely. I want to be pampered," Jimin replied, still fake crying and hugging Taehyung.
Taehyung pushed Jimin away, but Jimin continued to bother him.
J-Hope, Suga, and Jungkook got up, walked to the exit, and waited outside, while Jimin, Taehyung, Jin, and y/n followed.
They all went to a convenience store, grabbed some snacks, and made their way to a nearby playground.
"It feels great to snack and be in the same playground where the first snowfall occurred," Suga said, gazing at the sky while enjoying his snack. "That's true, but since it's summer, it's not pleasant at all," Jimin replied from behind Suga.
"But y/n, why were you crying while singing the Spring Day song?" J-Hope wondered. "I'm sure you're aware that the song you wrote is quite sad and brings back memories for those who have lost loved ones. It caught me off guard. I couldn't hold back my tears because it reminded me of my grandma's passing when I was in middle school during a school trip. I received the news from my mom through a message that same day. I had to perform in a talent show that the school organized. So that explains why I'm crying so much these days," y/n said, holding Jin's hand tightly.
"I don't want to spoil the fun, but I'm heading to the swings; let's see who can get the one next to me," Jungkook shouted, sprinting to the swings before anybody else could get in his way. "You're too slow, Jungkook," Suga observed, taking a seat on the empty swing beside him.
Jungkook then took his place on the swing next to Suga, and they both began to swing.
Meanwhile, J-Hope, Jimin, and Taehyung were climbing up and sliding down the slide, taking turns, while Jin and y/n strolled around the playground.
"So, next week, on the same day my album drops, Namjoon will finalize his revenge plan against you after all these years," Jin said, holding y/n's hand tightly. "Yeah, everyone is aware of what might happen, but if I don't have my phone for the location, that could be an issue," y/n replied, feeling anxious. "Don't stress about it; we'll keep an eye out for it," Jin reassured her, wiping a tear from y/n's cheek and giving her a kiss.
He then led y/n to the stairs that went to the slide and waited in line since J-Hope and Jimin were taking turns sliding down.
J-Hope informed Jin and y/n that Taehyung had left a few minutes earlier due to an urgent matter.
J-Hope entered the slide while Jimin waited for his turn.
When the area was clear, y/n slid down first and waited for Jin to catch up.
Jungkook proposed that y/n take the swing he was using, while Suga suggested the same for Jin since they were both tired of swinging.
Y/n and Jin took their places on the swings and began to see who could swing the highest.
For around 20 minutes, Jungkook and Jimin engaged in a mini physical fight while Suga filmed everything. Y/n stepped in to break it up but ended up getting knocked out by Jungkook.
Jin quickly came to help, followed by J-Hope.
Jungkook knelt down, apologizing profusely with "many sorrys" until laughter erupted.
It appears that y/n's knockout was a prank orchestrated by her and Jimin as revenge on Jungkook for the last prank he played on them in high school.
Jungkook, understanding what just occurred, storms off in frustration while y/n begins to chase him with a stick, exactly like they did as children.
Once things calmed down, they gathered their leftover snacks and returned to their own homes.
