This woman was unbelievable right now. I looked at her and I hated that she could stand there like that, shoulders square, eyes finally visible and hauntingly calm—staring down at me like none of what I'd just screamed at her mattered.

It was annoying and unfair. But somehow, I still couldn't look away.
