Chapter 1 - Last Message

It was 2:03 AM.

The entire room was silent… except for the faint glow of a phone screen.

Aarav lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling. Sleep was nowhere near him.

His mind was heavy… like something bad was about to happen.

"Everything's over…" he whispered.

With a deep breath, he picked up his phone—just to scroll through his chats one last time.

Then suddenly—

Buzz.

A new message popped up.

Unknown Number:

"You're going to die in 10 minutes."

Aarav frowned.

"What the hell…?"

He almost laughed it off. Probably some idiot prank.

But before he could ignore it—

Buzz.

Another message.

"If you want to live… don't go to the terrace."

Aarav froze.

His heartbeat skipped.

"Terrace…?"

Just a minute ago, he had been thinking about going upstairs for some fresh air.

His fingers trembled.

"This… this isn't funny."

Then the third message came—

"I am you… from the future."

Silence filled the room.

The air suddenly felt heavier.

Aarav slowly turned his head toward the door…

The stairs to the terrace were right outside.

His instincts whispered—

Don't go.

But his mind argued—

This is nonsense.

Clenching his jaw, Aarav stood up.

Step by step… he started walking toward the door.

Buzz.

Another message.

"One more step… and everything ends."

Aarav stopped.

His breath became uneven.

Sweat formed on his forehead.

And then—

From outside…

A loud scream echoed through the night—

"ACCIDENT!!!"

Aarav rushed to the balcony.

People had gathered on the road below.

A body lay motionless.

His heart pounded as he leaned forward to see clearly—

And then…

His world shattered.

The face…

It looked exactly like him.

His phone vibrated one last time.

"Now do you understand? I saved you… but this is just the beginning."
