I stayed in this village with Grandpa for two days. If I wanted, I could have lived a peaceful life in this village, but I would have more peace when I could roam freely in cities, towns and villages as per my wish. So after staying in this village for two days, I started my journey. I said goodbye to Grandfather. As usual, tears began to fall from my eyes. Grandpa lovingly patted my head and said, "Life is once.Live it your way."
I smiled and said good bye to him again. I left the village and came out again on the same deserted road.Grandpa told me that this road goes directly to the city, so I wanted to reach the city before night and do some work.Now I had no money even to eat.The little money I had , I put it on grandfather's horse carriage.After all, I had to recompense for the favors done by him.
I started to remember the beginning of my journey. What a strange day it was when I left my beautiful home . And family too. Family? Yes, maybe, I even left my family to fulfill this one wish of mine , and departed on unknown paths.I used to save money from my daily earnings. I had enough money at that time that I could spend a year without any trouble.I reached a village first.I went to a eatery.An employee came up to me and said "Yes, what would you like? Our mutton here is fantastic. Would you like some?"
My mouth watered when I heard the name of mutton, but I knew it would be expensive, so I just asked for simple bread curry.He said:"Okay, just stay for a little while,I will serve you delicious and spicy curry."After saying that, he left and I started looking around.There were green fields in front of the eatery. Small white flowers were blooming on the banks and butterflies were dancing on them. When the wind blew, all the fields would move in one direction. They were swaying as if their lives were also awesome like mutton.
This village was not far from my area, so I wanted to leave here as soon as possible.I ate food, although the food was simple but my hunger was gone.I paid for the food and reached the base in the village.I didn't know where to go now. I just boarded a bus. Maybe it was going to another district. What else did I need? I happily sat on the last seat.
We passed through the middle road of the village and reached the open fields. There were open fields and green gardens on both sides of us. After about an hour and a half, the bus stopped at a small town. It was a beautiful area. I paid the fare and stopped here.
I had to make arrangements for spending the night. I strolled here and there until evening. I strolled away from the town. I turned back and started moving towards the town quickly. After walking for a while, I sat down to catch my breath.It was night. The moon was just above my head. I looked around and found that I had reached a mango grove. I had heard that mango groves are full of snakes. There were huge mango trees around me. The big trees stood like giants.
I was looking around when I started hearing hissing sounds. I turned around and saw two snakes lying on their backs. I was about to faint because of fear when one of the snakes turned and disappeared behind the tree while the other was still there.By the way, how beautiful he was with bright blue eyes, beautiful green body and melodious voice.Oh! I am saying all this now, otherwise at that time, the worst creature seemed to me was a snake.I was staring at the snake standing in my place and he was staring at me.I took a step back and the snake came towards me quickly. My breath caught. I turned and ran towards the town. I did not look back even once. I ran so that in no time I stood in the middle of the town.
I was out of breath. I looked back and saw a cute little girl laughing at me as if I was clown. After a while, she stopped laughing and said, "You must have met these two snakes, right?" I nodded my head. She started laughing again and said:"They don't say anything. They are like friends."
I angrily said:"Friends ! You know it ran to eat me. I escaped death today and you say they are friends.
If you don't believe, that's fine. They are my friends, she said innocently.
After talking to her for a while, I felt relieved. When my anger cooled down, I asked her if there was any eatery here.
"Yes, indeed, my grandfather has his own eatery.You will get delicious mutton, "she replied.
Oh! Mutton again. My heart was tempted to hear the name of mutton, but I had to spend less money. I went to the eatery with the girl.
I asked the girl to eat with me. At first she refused, but then on my insistence she started eating.I asked her how those snakes became your friend."It wasn't too difficult. I looked at them lovingly and then they left,"she replied.
"Oh, that's it, but I saw lovingly too. I just took a step back," I said helplessly.
"Do your parents work here?"I asked.
"No, only my grandfather,"she replied.
"Oh!" I said sadly.
We ate to our fill and wandered around for a while. Then she took me to her house which was just behind the eatery.The house was small but clean. She said that grandpa sleeps at the eatery. Can you sleep here?
"Why not? I'll be happy if I stay at your place," I happily replied.
We talked a lot. She fell asleep while talking. I got up and stood by the window of the house. The view outside was amazing. The stars were twinkling and the moon was emitting light borrowed from the sun and was adding to the beauty of the night.I came back to the bed and lay down. Soon sleep took me in its embrace.
In the morning, the bright rays of the sun fell on my face and I stood up angrily.
"I was not able to sleep at night, and now that has come, this sun has spoiled it." I was muttering to myself.That girl was not at home. I washed my hands and reached the eatery. People were gathering to have breakfast. That girl was serving meal to people. Seeing me, she came near me and said:"You are my guest, free breakfast for you". I smiled and sat on one of the cots.
After breakfast I went to this girl. Helped her with the work and then hugged her and thanked her.Tears started floating through my eyes. What a sad scene it was? I still cry thinking about it. Well, I said goodbye to this sweet little girl and left again on unknown paths.
