[3rd POV]
Getting closer to the hotel, Lucifer saw the large blimp in the skies above, amusement in her eyes. Pentious was an amusing man that created some pretty interesting pieces of technology. He was also the one that would be the first to be redeemed, proving that the Hazbin Hotel was a genuine project that could and would work.
But at the moment? He was up to some petty mischief, trying and failing to intimidate Alastor. Who was looking at him in confusion, having no clue who the man was, despite them "going to battle" 20 times since they had first met.
"Who are the Vee's?" The voice of Niffty entered her ear as they got closer.
"Oh, nobody important" Alastor waved it off, while Lucifer snorted.
"They're a bunch of power hungry children" Lucifer said, as they all noticed her approach with the rest of her family.
"Ma'am! I was wondering when you would get back! Did you enjoy your time out in the city?" Charlie asked, ignoring Alastor who was currently using tentacles formed of what looked to be darkness, to smack around the large blimp. All the while laughing in amusement.
"It was quite a bit better than I was expecting, far fewer deaths than I had thought. Oh, and the bookstores were quite interesting with the amount of selections" Lucifer replied with a small smile, as Charlie noticed the large stack of books in Bloom's hand.
"Oh wow! You guys bought...a lot of books!" Charlie said, surprised as she looked at Bloom. Books were obviously a thing in the Underworld, but most of the time it was the richer and "more cultured" folk that buy them.
People like the Ars Goetia in particular loved books, and had massive selections of them to read from. A lot of their books were of course magical in nature, but there was still quite a few that were just ordinary, interesting books.
Charlie had a bigger collection though. Well, more like her father had a bigger collection. He had a copy of pretty much every single book in the Underworld in his personal selection, and held far more than the Ars Goetia.
The Ars Goetia could only wish to have a collection the size of the Morningstars. And it was only surpassed by the library of heaven itself. That was how huge it was. But, the library was also very very hidden, and could only be accessed by Charlie, Lilith and Charlie's father.
Lucifer was actually pretty interested in her counterparts library, but decided against asking questions regarding it. Mostly because she didn't want to cause problems, and because she doubted they would let some random lady gain access to a library that was only for their family. She was a strong random lady, but just a random lady in the end.
"Yep, Bloom here loves reading. And there was tons of interesting stuff so I decided to just buy out everything we were interested in" Lucifer replied to Charlie, while Sir Pentious was getting thrashed by Alastor.
The man was laughing darkly as he tossed around the giant blimp like it was nothing. And eventually the blimp gained a rather sizeable hole in the glass, causing Sir Pentious to fall through it, alongside one of his cute little egg minions.
That egg minion died.
Lucifer ignored Alastor and Sir Pentious, as the snake man "Caught Alastor off guard" and stole a piece of his suit, ripping a part of it.
He was promptly launched off in a green explosion, while his blimp disappeared in that explosion thanks to Alastor taking care of it.
"That was...interesting" Alice couldn't help but say, watching as Alastor began to walk back over to them, that same shit eating grin on his face as he noticed them standing and staring at them.
"Everything regarding that man is "interesting". I wish that wasn't the case" Vaggie grumbled, wishing that Alastor was not there. The man was basically a walking magnet of trouble, and would almost certainly drag in a ton of attention that they could not afford to have, and more importantly, could not afford to stop.
"So, what sort of books did you get, Bloom?" Charlie asked as she looked at the red head that was currently more like a bird demon thing. Bloom looked a little surprised at the question, not expecting her to get asked.
"Mostly ones on magic, but I also got some books on history and law of the Underworld. I find the magics that are commonly learned to be very interesting, as is the history of the underworld. Which of course includes your family" Bloom replied with a smile on her face.
Charlie looked at her in slight surprise.
"You think my family is interesting?"
"Well of course! Your mother and father are the ones that built the Underworld into what it is today, how is that not interesting?" Bloom replied as Charlie couldn't help but flush slightly in embarrassment, understanding that the woman before her was genuinely interested in her family, which was a rarity, given how the world was.
Vaggie watched her girlfriend react in amusement, knowing that she was unused to someone being truly family, and not in the power that her family wielded, and what that power could bring them. Most people that interacted with her, tended to only do so to get something out of her.
Like power, wealth, political power, and prestige in general.
But Bloom?
She was pretty innocent, Vaggie realized.
Which made the protectiveness of Lucifer - aka the unknown woman - make a lot more sense. If Bloom was like this, then there was a good chance that the rest of her siblings were the exact same way. And that sort of innocence was very very rare in hell, and was only really prevalent in those that were born in the underworld.
But the thing about that was, that usually that still went away in the end, as the surroundings would eventually come to "corrupt" them.
Walking into the hotel with the Hazbins, Lucifer noticed that the insides of the hotel were a little destroyed. Something that she had allowed to happen, of course. They needed to meet Sir Pentious for a reason. She was just glad that nobody asked, or that they just opted to not bother asking.
She had a feeling most of them straight up just forgot about it either way, so it doesn't really matter either way.
"Have you already eaten, ma'am? I'm sure we can find something to whip up for dinner!" Charlie asked, as she looked over at Lucifer, and noticed that it was around dinner time, and was decenlty late into the day.
"We've already eaten, but thanks for the offer. We'll probably take up that offer tomorrow at some point" Lucifer replied with a shake of her head. The meal they had was more than bulking enough.
"Okay! Is there anything else you need? Or do you plan on just heading up to your rooms?"
"We're just gonna go up to our rooms for now, to put away all of our stuff and all that. Might come back down later though" Lucifer replied to the kid once again as they headed towards the elevator.
They soon said their short goodbyes, as Lucifer entered the elevator. All the while, she had one thought on her mind.
'That was an interesting day!'
