The rehabilitation therapist Coco was a young Asian woman, with a very Westernized makeup style. Upon seeing Lady Stephens and Daisy Ginger approach, she softly and considerately said to Edward Stephens, "I'll step out first, you guys talk."
Edward glanced at her, furrowing his brow slightly, before quickly retracting his gaze. Daisy watched his action, sensing that Edward heavily relied on his rehabilitation therapist.
Even though she knew this jealousy was untimely, Daisy couldn't help but feel a twinge of bitterness on the tip of her tongue. She furrowed her brows and said nothing more, instead turning around to push open the door to the hospital room.
