Nathan stopped for a moment, lost in his thoughts. His hands rested in his pockets and his gaze was directed elsewhere.
He was thinking. And for the first time in a while, Secretary Chen felt as if his old boss had never actually left.
"We need to know who that dangerous person is," he finally stated.
"Make sure to investigate who he is. Try searching the bars Mark frequents, and if you find nothing, try searching for information on his father as well. There's no way his family would be able to cover all their traces. There must be some smoke."
Secretary Chen returned his gaze with a proud look. "Yes, boss."
Then, he took his phone and started writing while trying to contact other people, "We need to know how much we can rely on him. And if he is open for—let's say—cooperation," he suggested.
Nathan finished his coffee and nodded slightly. "Mmm."
"And about the meeting, make it so that it's this evening. It's better to talk about important matters with a drink."
