Chapter 10: Tang San, Your Mother Is Gone
After fusing the 100,000-year Soft Bone Rabbit's left leg bone, Ghost Douluo now possessed two soul bones in total.
The other one rested on his right leg—a 60,000-year-old Swift Right Leg Bone that greatly enhanced his speed.
Despite having served under both Qian Xunji and Bibi Dong for many years, Yue Guan still didn't own a single soul bone.
At rank ninety-six, further advancement was incredibly difficult for him. At his age, even immortal herbs offered little benefit; only high-aged soul bones could give him a true chance at progress.
The seas surrounding Sea God Island were home to many 100,000-year-old soul beasts—but also to numerous terrifying powerhouses.
Aside from the Demi-God Bo Saixi, there were the Seven Sacred Pillars, Titled Douluos and other formidable experts like Sea Illusion and the Sea Witch, who guarded the island.
Years ago, the former Pope, Qian Xunji, had led two thousand soul masters to attack Sea God Island. That campaign ended in near annihilation—only a handful survived to tell the tale.
Both Ghost Douluo and Yue Guan had participated in that disastrous expedition.
Back then, Qian Xunji's intelligence was flawed; he underestimated the true strength of Sea God Island.
Moreover, sea soul masters held an overwhelming advantage in their home territory, while the Spirit Hall's army consisted mainly of land-based soul masters.
That defeat, therefore, was inevitable.
Ghost Douluo knew that in the core region of Star Dou Forest, two 100,000-year soul beasts resided—the Titan Giant Ape and the Azure Bull Python.
However, those two beasts were inseparable companions, making them extremely difficult to deal with.
For now, he decided to focus on the Sea God Island expedition first and think of the rest later.

Meanwhile—
Tang San was still drowning in grief, his heart torn apart after witnessing Xiao Wu's tragic death before his very eyes.
The pain was unbearable, consuming him entirely until his consciousness faded away.
Tang Hao, frantic with worry, carried his unconscious son at full speed through mountains and forests until they reached a hidden stone chamber deep within the mountains behind Holy Soul Village.
Inside the dim chamber stood a small earthen mound.
On top of it grew a single stalk of Blue Silver Grass.
Unlike ordinary Blue Silver Grass, its leaves shimmered faintly with golden patterns, gleaming softly in the faint light, radiating a mysterious aura brimming with vitality.
Tang Hao slowly knelt before it, tears welling up uncontrollably in his eyes.
"Ah Yin… I'm sorry. I failed to protect Xiao San… I let him lose the one he loved most."
As his voice trembled with guilt and sorrow, a miracle occurred.
The Blue Silver Grass suddenly came alive, its tendrils rapidly spreading outward, filling the entire chamber.
Countless blue-silver vines coiled gently around Tang San's body, their touch soft and warm—like the embrace of a loving mother.
Tang Hao's eyes widened in disbelief, joy and sorrow intermingling on his rugged face.
"Ah Yin… is that you? Ah Yin!"
His voice quivered, thick with emotion and longing.
Just then, Tang San began to stir.
He felt a strange warmth enveloping him, as though a pair of gentle hands were soothing his soul.
That sensation blurred the line between dream and reality.
Slowly, he opened his eyes—and was utterly stunned by the miraculous sight before him.
"Father… where is this? What's going on with this Blue Silver Grass?"
Tang Hao's gaze softened as he spoke with deep emotion.
"Xiao San, this is your mother's power."
"My… mother?" Tang San froze, disbelief flashing in his eyes.
Tang Hao caressed the Blue Silver Grass tenderly, his voice filled with yearning.
"Ah Yin, our son has grown up. I've brought him to see you."
He turned to Tang San, his tone solemn yet warm.
"Xiao San, bow to your mother."
Though still dazed and confused, Tang San obeyed without hesitation.
He stood, then knelt before the Blue Silver Grass and kowtowed three times with utmost reverence.
His heart trembled with respect and devotion—as if some invisible bond deep within his soul had awakened.
Just as Tang San finished kowtowing, the Blue Silver Grass before him suddenly trembled as if startled, then quickly shrank back into its original form.
Tang Hao's expression changed instantly.
He could keenly sense two powerful soul power fluctuations rapidly approaching from afar.
"Damn it! Those two pests—Chrysanthemum and Ghost! How did they find this place?!"
As he cursed, a mouthful of blood spilled from his lips.
His body was already burdened with internal injuries. After his battle against Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo, his old wounds had flared up again, and now his condition was worsening by the second.
"Father! Are you alright?!"
Tang San's face turned pale with worry as he rushed forward to support Tang Hao.
Tang Hao gritted his teeth, forcing himself to suppress the sharp pain tearing through his body.
"Xiao San, this place is no longer safe—we have to leave, now!"
Without wasting another word, he grabbed Tang San and released his soul power, bursting out of the stone chamber and soaring into the sky.
As they ascended, the air suddenly grew heavy. Two overwhelming auras descended upon them like invisible mountains, pressing down from all directions.
The newcomers were none other than Ghost Douluo and Chrysanthemum Douluo.
The Ghost Douluo snorted coldly.
"Tang Hao, so you really are here. Running again, are you? Once so high and mighty—now look at you, a pitiful dog with nowhere left to run."
Enraged by the humiliation, Tang Hao roared as the Clear Sky Hammer appeared in his hand, radiating a terrifying pressure that seemed capable of crushing everything in its path.
"Hmph! Looks like I've underestimated you two. Die!"
The massive hammer erupted in dazzling light as Tang Hao swung it down with all his might toward the two Titled Douluos.
But Ghost Douluo and Chrysanthemum Douluo were already prepared. Neither showed a trace of fear as their bodies flickered, effortlessly dodging the devastating blow while gathering their power for a counterattack.
However, before they could strike back, the light faded—only to reveal that Tang Hao and Tang San had vanished without a trace. Their presence disappeared completely, as if they had never been there.
Yue Guan's face twisted with fury.
"Damn it! That bastard Tang Hao escaped again!"
Ghost Douluo, on the other hand, remained calm. Suspended midair, he scanned the surroundings with a sharp gaze.
"Old Chrysanthemum, come with me."
The two soon arrived before a vast waterfall.
The silver torrent cascaded down from a towering cliff like a breach in the heavens, roaring as it struck the deep pool below. Mist rose in waves, sparkling with rainbow light beneath the sunlight. The cool air carried a faint chill as it brushed against their faces.
"Old Ghost, what's so special about this place?" Yue Guan frowned.
"Maybe something. You stay here and keep watch. I'll check inside."
Ghost Douluo's figure flickered and slipped through the waterfall, entering the cavern beyond.
Inside, he glanced around, spotting only a patch of soil with a single Blue Silver Grass growing from it—no trace of a soul bone's aura.
"So, the Blue Silver Emperor's right leg bone must've been taken by Tang Hao…"
He sighed softly.
"Blue Silver Emperor, how pitiful. You sacrificed yourself for Tang Hao, only to be imprisoned here in this dark, lonely place, even in death. Perhaps… release would be kinder than this."
Ghost Douluo knew this wasn't an ordinary Blue Silver Grass. It was the reborn seed of the Blue Silver Emperor, containing traces of her origin power.
Without hesitation, he carefully uprooted the plant, then flew back through the waterfall to where Yue Guan waited.
Yue Guan raised a brow at the strange plant in Ghost Douluo's hand.
"Old Ghost, don't tell me you went in there just for that Blue Silver Grass?"
Ghost Douluo's lips curved into a faint, sinister smile.
"This isn't just any Blue Silver Grass. It's the seed born from the death of the Blue Silver Emperor—the remnant soul of Tang San's mother, lingering in this world."
