As I disembarked from my echo and walked to to bright castle gates I was met with a somewhat figure in one of the shadows "Sunny? What are you doing here?" As sunny turned to face me glaring "I should ask you that or should I say what the hell are you doing?" He snarled I only looked at him "what do you mean?" he grabbed me by the armor's front and snarled "why are you with Gunlaug huh!?" As I realized what this is about I only grabbed his hand and it pushed it away "don't get me wrong my goal is to leave this place, but I won't sacrifice people needlessly for it" as Sunny stepped back clearly shocked by my knowledge of Neph's plan I continued "what did you think I was not aware ? Do you think Gunlaug is not aware ?"
As Sunny stared clearly trying to realign his thoughts I pressed "I may be getting some blood on my hands but I atleast don't plan to lead people to their deaths. and you Sunny? Do you agree eith her plan?" "I do not, but I don't see another option".
As I nodded there really wasn't not yet atleast and then I had an idea.
"You know I heard something another day" Sunny raised a brow but didint interrupt me I continued "something about collecting the shards" as sunny's eyes widened "how?" Clearly shocked as the plan was formed today "i have my ways, I'm bringing this up because I want to
You to know you won't collect them all", "and why is that?" He asked in a careful tone "I already aquired several of them" I answered as sunny eyes widened once more and asked "how ?I thought their hundreds of kilomiters apart ?" "They were" sunny's looked realy looked at me and noticed something "You're different from before" I only raised a brow "this place changes people" clearly sunny didint mean it in that way but didint press "anyway I have to go report see you around sunny".
As I entered Gunlaug's chambers I saw that Gemma was also present "your late" Gunlaug said silently "business came up" I answered "why are you late by over 20 days?" "Business" clearly getting irritated Gunlaug snarled"why were you late?!" As I put my hands up "okay okay I get it but it's personal, what happened to get you so pissed anyway?" As Gunlaug sat down again he hissed "we lost five hunters two days ago and that could of been avoided if you were here" 'well shit' sitting down "how did this happen ?" I questioned not playing games and getting serious.
As Gunlaug explained how five hunters bodies were found next to a old cathedral in the dark city I went to silently check out the place and what I saw was some sort of black knight nightmare creature patrolling the first floor and a lived in place in a small room on the second floor.
As I reported back to Gunlaug that this was defenetly the creature's doing. Going to freshen up and res for a few hours I left the bright castle again back to the cathedral to hunt that knight creature.
As I entered the ruined cathedral making sure no one human was around I went to aggravate the knight, stepping into sight of the creature I couldn't help but take a closer look at it.
The creature was more than two meters tall, its gothic armor forged from a lusterless, anthracite steel, the helmet of the Black Knight was crowned with curved horns that might have been the wings once. In the narrow fissure of his visor, two ghastly red flames were burning with indescribable menace. As the knight noticed me and rushed in I noticed something shocking 'I can't hear him' I realized even listening to the wind didint help Summoning the [Midnight shard] and infusing it with 2 of my winds and myself the same, I blocked its strike redirecting it to the side a small Shockwave rippling through the air due to the force, exchanging a few more blows I managed to stab it in the torso only to watch as darkness filled in the would and healed it 'well this won't be easy' Summoning my [Cursed Herald] in the background, I continued to engage the creature sending a few Burts of compressed wind to block some of its insanely fast and powerful swings, suddenly my echo rocketed into it launching it out of the cathedral immeadetly rushing after it infusing myself with all of the wind I could I rocketed towards it like a meteor and struck it straight through the head as it was sent even further back from its home.
Looking at the sky I noticed I didint have much time before darkness overtook the sky I launching he'd myself at the creature once more my echo taking off into the air to play support.
As I landed about ten meters way from the creature it finally managed to get up and ready itself 'it's more intelligent than my echo' I realized as it slowly started to circle me suddenly with no sound or preperation it launched itself straight towards me as I prepared my block it changed its attack last second strikijg at my right shoulder rather than my stomach as I barely managed to dodge blow blasting wind into its face to knock it back, this time when it launched itself I launched myself forward aswell enchancing my body more than my weapon fo be able to keep up with it as our battle raged on my echo suddenly lunged hitting the creature dead on and pummeling into the ground this time it ingaded it while I ascended into the sky 'time is running out' As I flew faster I redied myself as this will probably hurt enchaning my weapon with all of my winds and surrendering to gravity I used wind to boost my speed and struck directly at the creature's shoulder lopping it off clean off, stabbing thr creature and jumping the wind exploded out of the blade in a massive Shockwave sending the creature flying seeing as no kill notification happened I grabbed the blade once again and rushed forward while my echo flew low keeping up with my unashamed body. As arrived at the spot where the creature landed a blade flew directly to my face as dropped to the ground to avoid rolling back and flying into the skies I realized I had no chance of keeping up without my body being augmented, I sent the echo to take it head on as I thought of a plani noticed the fake sun lowering in the horizon '10 minutes ar most left' as I thought what to do an idea struck me Summoning the [bloody daggers] and infusing them with two winds each I launched myself at the creature, appearing behind it and making my echo hold it in place I stabbed the daggers between its armor and leapt back as my echo jumped back as well although it stayed in the air ***BOOM*** as a massive explosion ripped through the place obliterating some of the damaged structures around.

As he read a sudden new string of runes appeared interruping him.
