Soon after, Orion finally lifted his head, his face ghostly pale, eyes bloodshot and dazed. Two female servants hurried forward, supporting his trembling shoulders as one carefully poured water into a cup and pressed it to his lips. He rinsed his mouth weakly, spitting into the basin before splashing the rest onto his face. His breathing came out ragged, uneven. When the maids were done, they quietly bowed and stepped aside, whispering to one another with worried expressions.
"Thank goodness you're finally here…" Orion said weakly, his voice hoarse but trembling with emotion. His eyes darted up to meet Lawrence's, desperation gleaming in them. He reached out and grabbed Lawrence's wrist tightly.....so tight his knuckles turned white. "Get me out of here, Lawrence. Do anything, just get me out of this place. I'd rather die but this motherfucker won't even let me die!"
