Gasping for air, body covered in bruises and wounds, Naib quietly stared at the battered corpse of the Tsanak in front of him.
Its dark blood, filled with impurities, tainted the concrete ground as its twisted expression—showing fear and malice—still gave him lingering fear.
It could be said that, if not for Jerome exchanging injuries to pin down the Tsanak in the last moment, the three of them might have still been fighting desperately; fortunately, it's all over now.

Meaning that failing to accomplish any goal would result in more chaos, allowing the abominations to walk the land unhindered!
