...

"This... Spirit Warrior, Spiritual Power, and Mental Power? What are these?"

Confused, first time encountering these terms, Naib tried clicking the unfamiliar terms in front of him, but only in vain.

Other than the cursed item that showed an explanation earlier, the profession, realm, and physical stats don't offer any description, leaving him guessing on his own.

Despite lacking knowledge, based on his observation, the number in the spiritual power, mental power, strength, and speed signified his attribute points.

The only confusing part was that he wasn't aware of the average number of points a human at his age should have; however, if his guess was right, it should be around 1 point each.

As for what the realm and profession entail, although he wasn't sure, he could at least guess one or two regarding the words they used.

However, since the guess was still a guess, Naib decided not to put his mental energy into them. Instead, after looking for his character panel for a while, he shifted his gaze to the inventory below.

"Open the inventory."

With little anticipation building up within his being, Naib immediately commanded inside his mind.

In an instant, the panel in front of him again twisted, changing in the next second as it unfolded a 10×10 grid space in front of his eyes.

Unsurprisingly, other than the green box silently resting in the 1st space of the grid, the rest of the grid was empty.

"Is this the reward?"

Not wasting any time, Naib immediately clicked the green box within the floating screen in front of him, causing its description to unfold in front of his eyes.

[ D-grade box (quality-low): A box that might contain skills, items, and other things that might be helpful to a spiritual warrior. ]

Ding!

[ Do you want to open the box? (Yes/No?) ]

"Yes."

Just after uttering those words, the green box, akin to a polished jade, burst forth with intense light—so intense that it momentarily blinded Naib of his sight.

Even after he closed his eyes, he could still see it, making the corners of his eyes teary.

It's not after a full minute passed by when the light retracted that Naib regained his senses.

Opening his eyes, Naib immediately saw 3 glowing items suspended in the space in front of him.

Shockingly, they are not intangible like the green box that only exists in the panel; instead, he could feel their existence!

"This... Naib, what are those?"

Seeing the floating items in front of Naib—suspended only 20 centimeters away from the latter—Jerome and Hans showed a shocked and confused look on their faces, their expression clear as if they regarded Naib as a magical being.

"The rewards from the panel. You two should also have them; try to check your character panel and look for the inventory..."

After explaining, Naib again focused his gaze on the three items in front of him.

Without further ado, the feeling of anticipation growing, Naib grabbed the three items in front of him, only for them to turn into lights the next second before drilling into his being—vanishing within his body in an instant.

"How vicious—they didn't directly put it inside my inventory; instead, they showed it to the outside world as if announcing that I have treasure on me.

"Not only are we fighting enemies beyond our comprehension, but we might even fight people for treasures."

Immediately getting the gist upon seeing the three items inside his inventory, Naib couldn't help but snicker at how vicious this panel was. Although it could directly put the item inside his inventory without needing to show or materialize itself outside, it still does it to create more chaos.

With this move, it would surely increase the difficulty for humans to trust each other, even to the point that they might even backstab others who are opening a box nearby.

But... despite learning this, Naib only shows contempt on his face since it wouldn't harm a person like him, who normally doesn't trust others easily.

"It's not within my concern."

Shaking his head, removing the distraction within his mind, Naib focused his gaze toward the three items that were now resting within his inventory space. Their glow after he touched them earlier vanished, unfolding their true state to him.

"A small ancient notebook with an illustration of abominations on its cover, a coarse yellow talisman, and a small dagger?"

Not hiding the confusion in his eyes, Naib clicked the three items within his inventory, instantly presenting their description to his eyes.

Ding!

[ Book of Knowledge Volume 1 (Part 1): A book containing knowledge regarding evil entities and spirits... It contains a basic understanding of evil entities and spirits, including their habits, the danger they contain, and descriptions... ]

[ Spirit Warding Talisman (Low Grade): A low-grade talisman that could deal significant damage to D-grade evil spirits and below. ]

[ Yang Dagger (Yellow grade): A dagger containing a small amount of yang stone. Not only could it deal sufficient damage to evil entities, but it could also pose a not-small threat to evil spirits. ]

"Not bad. Two items for self-protection and a book that contains information regarding those bizarre creatures."

With a smile finally appearing in the corner of his lips, feeling that death might not be certain for them, considering that the panel was giving them hope for survival, Naib immediately took out the dagger from his inventory.

Ding!

Straight away, a faint light emerged inside his body, landing on his palm before instantly transforming into a small dagger in a wooden scabbard—instantly giving Naib a novel feeling that he had transmigrated into a world of magic.

Feeling a faint heat emanating from the handle of the small dagger, dispelling the lingering cold inside his body, Naib then drew the dagger from its scabbard.

Shing!

Abruptly, a sharp metal, sparkling with a polished sheen, reflected in Naib's glowing eyes, making him excited as he inspected the blade.

The silver blade, which was giving off a gentle glow of moonlight, was curved into a crescent moon and stretched out to a foot in length.

As for the dagger's light weight and its model shape 1 hilt, Naib already became comfortable after holding it for some time!
