The transparent bow was inlaid with crystals, looking precious and mysterious. It didn't look like a weapon, but a valuable work of art.
"Good, let's fire!" Kaoru raised the bow and pulled the string. A transparent arrow appeared on the string.
"Go!" Kaoru said and shot the arrow towards the Leaf Village. The crystal arrow flew like a soul-like hawk towards the horizon.
The hawk soared in the sky, its eyes scanning the Leaf Village. The hawk's vision was strong, seeing even a small stone on the road.
The hawk spirit flew, seeing everything below!
The hawk's vision was transmitted to Kaoru's Sharingan. Kaoru could see everything the hawk saw.

The hawk spirit's existence depends on the size of the eye power. Current maximum existence time: one hour.
This was a reconnaissance ninjutsu. The hawk spirit could fly ahead to scout or circle around to monitor the surroundings.
Kaoru didn't have a reconnaissance ninjutsu. With this strong reconnaissance jutsu, he didn't have to worry about being discovered when he practiced Hero Ninjutsu.
Soon after he used it, he saw a figure run out of the Leaf Village gate.
The figure was small and cute, looking like a puppy. It ran through the forest, not slow. It was running straight towards Kaoru.
"That puppy is... Pakkun!" Kaoru recognized the dog. One of the Eight Ninja Hounds, with strong sensing ability, Kakashi's summoning beast, Pakkun!
"Pakkun is running here. Kakashi must want to see me," Kaoru thought. Kakashi didn't have any business with him.
The only reason he would come was to ask about what happened in the Forest of Death.
Since he knew Kakashi was coming, Kaoru couldn't practice his Hero Ninjutsu. He waved his hand, and the crystal bow disappeared. He waited for Kakashi.
Pakkun got closer, slowing down and sneaking towards Kaoru.
Pakkun hid in the bushes behind Kaoru, watching him.
"Kakashi is too careful. He asked me to observe him before talking to him. What a pain," Pakkun muttered. Kakashi gave him the task of finding him and observing him.
Pakkun thought he was hidden, but Kaoru saw him when he left the Leaf Village gate.
"Why is that dog hiding?" Kaoru frowned and decided to teach the peeping dog a lesson.
"Fire Style: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!" Kaoru made hand seals and spat out a dragon-shaped fireball.
"Roar!" The fire dragon roared and hit the ground, drying it.
"That kid's ninjutsu is good," Pakkun thought in the bushes.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!" Kaoru made hand seals and spat out a fireball, but this time he turned and attacked the tree behind him.
"Boom!" The branches above Kaoru started to burn.
"What is that kid doing? Is he trying to set the forest on fire?" Pakkun wondered.
Kaoru smiled. "I let you watch. Fire Style: Fire Dragon Whirlwind Technique!"
Kaoru made hand seals and spat out spinning flames towards the bushes where Pakkun was hiding!
"Damn it, that kid is setting the bushes on fire! What's wrong with him!" Pakkun exclaimed. He didn't know Kaoru saw him and wondered why Kaoru was doing this.
Pakkun jumped out of the bushes, showing himself to Kaoru.
"I knew he would jump out," Kaoru thought. But his prank wasn't over.
"Hey, kid, why are you using Fire Style in the forest?" Pakkun shouted at Kaoru, but he realized that he was under the tree that Kaoru set on fire!
Pakkun looked up and saw the burning tree. If he jumped, he would hit it.
It was too late.
"Bang!" Pakkun crashed into the burning tree, and the flames spread to him.
Was it an accident or did Kaoru do it on purpose? Pakkun didn't want to think about it. He was on fire.
"Woof, woof!" Pakkun barked, scared. He wasn't a fighting summon. He was tricked by Kaoru and rolled on the ground.
"Kakashi, help me!" Pakkun shouted and took out a scroll, throwing it into the air.
The scroll opened, revealing a black symbol.
"Boom!" There was smoke, and a ninja with a fox mask jumped out, fast as lightning!
"Water Style: Water Shockwave!" Kakashi made hand seals and spat out water, putting out the fire on Pakkun.
Kakashi used Water Style to put out the fire on the trees.
He did everything quickly and cleanly.
"Tap!" Kakashi landed on the ground, looking at Kaoru coldly.
Kakashi was in the Anbu, not like when he led the graduation class, lazy and reading novel. He was serious.
"You almost killed my summoning beast!" Kakashi said coldly.
"I didn't know that dog was hiding in the bushes. I was just practicing ninjutsu," Kaoru said innocently. He just wanted to prank Pakkun and put out the fire, but Kakashi did it first.
"Is he telling the truth?" Kakashi turned to Pakkun, who was covered in soot and had a burnt back.
"I guess so," Pakkun said, scratching his head. He thought it was an accident.
