**Morning Scene**
Zayan (looking around the kitchen):
"Auntie, did you see my *bariyan*? I think someone stole it."
(He points at Wali.)
Wali (offended):
"What? Why would I eat your tasteless food?"
Zayan (smirking):
"Oh really? But I saw you last night—sneaking into the kitchen like a midnight thief."
Wali (grumbling):
"So what? I didn't have a choice."
Auntie (chuckling while stirring tea):
"Zayan, you don't know... Wali can't survive without *bariyan*. Even as a child, he'd cry for them."
Wali (gritting his teeth):
"Stop teasing me! I'm leaving."
Zayan:
"Wait, but where are you going?"
Wali:
"Hell. Want to join me?"
Zayan (grinning):
"Of course, baby."
Wali:
"Shut up! Stop calling me baby."
(The two brothers leave, bickering.)
(The maid smiles as she watches them walk off.)
Servant (whispering to Auntie):
"After so long… this house finally feels like a home."
Auntie (softly, with hope in her eyes):
"Hmm… maybe Zayan's presence is healing Wali's old wounds."
**Scene – Physics Lab, School**
Zayan, Zara, and Zoya were busy working on their project in the lab. Zayan glanced at Zoya, his eyes filled with concern. He hesitated for a moment, then spoke.
**Zayan:** Zoya, are you okay?
**Zoya:** *[Without looking at him]* Yes, I'm fine. Can't you see?
**Zayan:** I know you're upset. I just... I want to apologize on behalf of my brother.
Zoya gave a cold smile, her eyes still focused on the components in front of her.
**Zoya:** Oh really? So you think saying sorry will magically erase everything? That I'll just say, "It's okay, Zayan," and forget it?
**Zayan:** No, you misunderstood. I just want to make things right.
**Zoya:** *[Scoffing]* You Shah brothers already ruined everything. Some things can't be fixed.
At that moment, Zara rushed over, holding the motor part of their project.
**Zara:** Zayan! Zoya! Come on, let's see if our project works now!
She plugged in the switch, but the motor didn't move. Her excitement faded instantly.
**Zara:** Ugh… it's not working. I thought we had it this time…
Zayan looking at Zara and thinking : she doesn't change. Still get worry on small things.
Suddenly He said to Zara
**Zayan:** Don't worry, girl. I'll fix it.
**Zoya:** *[Sarcastically smiling]* Yeah, don't worry Zara. Zayan's great at fixing things… or at least trying to.
**Zoya:** Anyway, let's head to the food shop. I'm starving.
Zoya turned and walked away casually. Zara looked at Zayan — part confused, part curious — then silently followed Zoya out of the lab.
**Scene – Another Corner of the Lab**
Wali and his group were also working on their project. He glanced across the room, eyes fixed on Zayan, Zara, and Zoya's table. His focus wasn't on wires or motors—it was on them.
Ahmed nudged his shoulder.
**Ahmed:** Wali, where do you think we should fix the motor?
**Wali:** *[Flat tone]* I'm an electrician. Fix it wherever you want.
**Ahmed:** *[Frowning]* Bro, what's up with you? I've been noticing—you're not even interested in the project.
Sara, who was quietly watching him, smirked and jumped in.
**Sara:** That's because he's too busy spying on his little brother. Right, Wali?
Wali shot her a glare. Without saying a word, he snatched the motor from Ahmed's hand and aggressively began connecting the parts, his silence louder than any answer.
The group fell quiet, sensing the tension in the air.
Scene – Back in the Lab
Zayan was still focused, carefully adjusting the wires in their electric car model. His brow was furrowed with concentration when Zara and Zoya walked up behind him.
Zoya: So, Mr. Fixer… did you manage to fix it or not?
Zara: [Elbowing her gently] Zoya, come on.
Zayan: [Smiling slightly] I tried my best. Let's see.
He flipped the switch.
The motor whirred, and the tiny electric car buzzed to life, rolling forward smoothly.
Zara: [Eyes lighting up] Oh my God—it's working!
Without thinking, she jumped and threw her arms around Zayan in excitement.
Zara: [Laughing] Boy, you actually did it!
Zayan stood frozen, caught completely off guard by the hug. A shy, nervous smile crept onto his face, and he blinked quickly, unsure what to say.
Zara: [Pulling back and beaming] Zoya, look! It's working perfectly!
Zoya: [Crossing her arms, smirking slightly] Yeah... I see that. Loud and clear.
She pointed at the two of them, her expression unreadable—half teasing, half thoughtful.
Scene – After Zara's Project Works
Ahmed nudged Sara as he noticed Zara laughing with Zayan across the lab.
Ahmed: Hey Sara, have a look… doesn't Zara look too happy today? I think the Shah brothers have a serious thing for her—first Wali, now Zayan?
Sara: [Rolling her eyes] Wali doesn't have a crush on her.
Ahmed: [Grinning] Hmm… but what about Zayan? Just look at him—dude's literally blushing. That's not "normal human" behavior.
Before Sara could respond, Wali snapped from the side.
Wali: [Irritated] If you two are done with your hot gossip, maybe we can focus on the project?
He yanked a wire into place and stepped back. Their project whirred to life—complete.
Without another word, Wali walked off.
Sara looked at Ahmed with a smirk.
Sara: I'll go check on him.
She started following Wali.
Ahmed: [Calling out] Wait—what about the mess? Who's gonna clean this?
Sara: [Turning back with a mischievous smile] You..
Scene: School Bench – Wali & Sara
Wali sits alone on a bench, lost in thought. Sara approaches slowly, watching him.
Sara:
So... you're here.
Wali:
Where else would I go?
Sara:
Wali, what's wrong with you? You're not like this. Tell me… what happened? Can't you even tell your girlfriend?
Wali: (coldly)
Stop calling yourself my girlfriend. You know it was just a show… nothing else.
Sara: (shocked)
A show? Wali, you confessed in front of the entire school! And now you're saying it meant nothing? Wait… is this because of Zara? Are you still in love with her?
Wali: (snaps)
Are you crazy? I never loved her. I played with her feelings — it was just revenge. And as for that "confession", it wasn't real. You know that. I only did it to cover up your mess… because you were the one who overdosed on sleeping pills.
Sara: (tears welling up)
So you used me too? You were just playing with my feelings? How could you, Wali? I love you. I'm mad about you…
Wali: (dark, bitter smile)
Love? Don't talk to me about love. I hate love. You know what it really is? A beautiful lie — it lures you in, traps you, and then shatters everything inside you.
Wali leaves her clueless.
Meanwhile Sara looked at him with hopeless eyes.
Scene: School Auditorium – Physics Project Presentation
Teacher (smiling proudly):
Well done, students. You all did an excellent job. Not just me, but even our Principal and the Chief Guest were truly impressed.
The class cheers.
Teacher:
Now, it's time to announce the results.
Teacher:
The group in third place is… Sana's group!
Sana's group jumps up, clapping and shouting "Yeah! Yeah!"
Teacher:
The second place goes to… Zara's group!
Zara and Zoya scream in excitement, hugging each other.
Zoya:
Yeah! We did it!
Zayan smiles warmly, proud of their teamwork.
Wali (rolling his eyes):
Silly people… acting like they just won the world.
Ahmed (laughing):
Come on, bro. Not everyone is as grumpy as you. Show some emotion!
(beat)
Oh, and by the way… where's Sara?
Wali:
Do I look like her babysitter?
Ahmed : I am just asking.
Teacher:
And now… the moment you've all been waiting for…
The first place goes to… Wali's group!
Well done!
The auditorium fills with claps. Wali smirks proudly. Zoya groans.
Zoya (under her breath):
Ugh! This brat again. Why does he always win at everything?
Wali glances at Zara, smirking with silent confidence.
Scene: Outside the Hall
Zayan, Zara, and Zoya stand outside, their certificates in hand.
Zayan (grinning):
I think this calls for a celebration!
Wali walks over, clearly smug.
Wali:
Of course, we'll celebrate.
(beat)
And hey Zara — congratulations! You tried your best to beat me, but sadly… your luck didn't help.
Look at me — I win again, and you lose. Tough, huh?
Zara (rolling her eyes):
Zoya, let's go. Uncle's waiting at the gate.
Zayan:
Wait, what about celebrating?
Zoya (mocking):
Yeah sure… you and your bratty brother can celebrate together.
Zara and Zoya walk off. Wali watches Zoha go, smirking.
Wali (muttering with a soft grin):
That girl always rocks the show.
Wali (to Zayan):
Come on, brother. Let's go. I'm so done with today.
Both shah brothers going on the way of their celebrations.
Scene: Zara's Room – Late Evening
Zara lays on her bed, staring at the ceiling. The noise of the day still echoes in her head — the victory, the clash with Wali, Zoya's sharp remarks… everything.
She picks up the phone and opens the chat.
Zara:
Hey… how are you?
Within seconds, a reply pops up.
Al:
I'm good. What about you? Rough day?
Zara smiles softly. His messages always feel like a warm cup of tea on a stormy night.
Zara:
Hmm… kind of. But now that I'm talking to you, it feels better.
Al:
Tell me everything. I'm listening.
And she does.
Zara types everything — the physics project, Zayan's awkward blush, Wali's arrogant smirk, and even Zoya's sass.
She laughs quietly while typing, for the first time feeling like someone truly gets her.
Al:
I wish I could see you smile right now.
Zara's smile deepens. She doesn't know who Al really is… but somehow, it feels like he understands the side of her no one else does.
Scene: Late Night – Shah House
Zayan and Wali enter the house quietly, their footsteps echoing in the empty hallway.
Zayan (checking his watch):
"Bro, it's 1 AM. We're way too late."
Wali (grinning):
"Come on, you're the one who insisted on celebrating."
Zayan (sighing):
"I wanted a celebration, not a full-night adventure."
Wali (teasing):
"Well, welcome to Wali-style celebrations. No rules."
Zayan (smiling faintly):
"Hmm… I've never stayed out this late. Mom always waits for me. She doesn't eat until I'm home."
Wali (his smile fades, voice flat):
"Oh… really?"
Zayan (not noticing the tone):
"Yeah. What about you? You and Dad always had dinner together?"
Wali (quiet):
"We used to… when I was six."
Zayan (pauses):
"What do you mean? After that… you didn't?"
They both step into the dining area. The table is still set, lights dimmed but warm. Their father sits at the head of the table, waiting — sharp eyes, unreadable expression.
Dad (with a faint smile):
"Finally… my sons have returned."
Zayan's face lights up. He hadn't seen his dad like this in a while — waiting, smiling, almost... proud.
But Wali stands frozen at the threshold. His eyes drop to the floor. His jaw tightens. His father's presence doesn't comfort him.
It unsettles him.
Zayan (hugging him): "Dad! I missed you so much. I've waited sixteen years for this."
Dad: "I missed you too, son. Your mother took you away, but you're go to 18 now. You can finally live with me."
Wali stood still, distant.
Dad: "Wali, come here, son."
Wali: "I'm tired. Zayan, let's go. We have school tomorrow."
Dad: "We'll talk tomorrow then."
As Zayan left, Wali turned back to his father.
Wali: "What do you want now? Why come back suddenly?"
Dad: "It's my house, Wali. I don't need your permission."
Wali: "Right… your house. That's good, at least you remember that you have a house.
Dad : Yes, my beloved son, I remember everything about you.
Wali :Good
He turned to leave.
Dad: "I'm glad you care about your brother."
Wali (coldly): "I love him. I'll protect him. And I won't let anyone hurt him."
Dad: "Are you threatening me?"
Wali (smiling): "Oh no… how can I threaten my own dad? Just… sleep well tonight, Faisal Shah."
He left room
Meanwhile his Dad watches his attitude. And thinks
Dad : wali shah, May your love still like that even, when you meet with reality.
