Today went well. Well, at least it was going well, that is if you ignored the little setback that happened at my lawyers office.
I don't know how she knew maybe it was just a hunch, or maybe it was something else, but somehow she knew I was the one who dropped that photo there.
Breaking in and out of her house was relatively easy for someone who her uncle and aunt wanted to kill she was really carefree.
Well, of course she didn't know that.
There was basically no security it was a good thing i always had gaurds surrounding her house.
It would have been better to tell one of them to do the work for me, but I didn't want that. The thought of some other man going into her house did not just sit with me well.
Thankfully, she left for work very early that day, so it was relatively easy going in.
Then, heading over to dress before heading to her company.
Anyways when she asked me if I was the one that placed the envelope in her house I was shocked even though i didn't show it I thought about what to tell her and ended up saying "Maybe not"
I didn't expect she will demand an answer from me even after saying we would talk later she seems really determined to find out the truth which was fine by me she would need that determination to take on her uncle and aunt.
I was glad that even after the meeting with my lawyer, she didn't bring the topic back again even though I could tell she had a dozen questions she wanted to ask.
Afterward, we went to fill in the necessary information to get our license for marriage, which would take some time before we got it. We headed outside, and that's when I got a phone call from my dad saying mom had passed out.
I could swear my head went completely blank for about 2 minutes when I heard that. Mom passed out. Why?
I almost rushed over to my car when I remembered Sienna was still here.
Although she assured me that her secretary would come pick her up, I couldn't help worrying at the end I left, hoping that what she said was true.
Now I was on my way to the hospital Mom was in.

"Where is she?" I asked as soon as I saw dad. It seemed like he was just coming out from the doctors office.
"What did they say is wrong with her?" I asked again, my voice going higher than I intended it to.
All I got was a scoff from my dad.
"You came two days ago and didn't even bother to come see me, but just a phone call that something was wrong with you, mom, you hurried over."
I just laughed awkwardly at his words.
"Sorry, dad, I had some things to attend to," I replied sheepishly.
"I'm sure you did" was his response.
"There is nothing wrong with her she is just stressed, which resulted in her blood pressure going high. The doctor prescribed some medications and told me not to allow her to stress herself too much."
Mom was stressed? Somehow, I knew who was the cause of her being stressed.
"Mateo told me you haven't been to the office?" His words made me pause my thinking.
"I have things to do first. i have called Xavier, though he will be getting some time off when I resume fully," I replied.
He said nothing after that.
When we got to mom's room, I didn't even wait for dad to push the door open before forcing myself in.
I saw mom sitting with a magazine on her hands she was probably looking at some fashion clothes.
"Mom, the doctor said you are stressing yourself a lot. Your blood pressure is over the top." What i said made her raise her head to look at me.
"Why won't I have a high blood pressure when my only son has chosen not to give me any grandhild?" she replied, making me sigh.
I knew this was going to end up being my fault.
"I'll leave you two to talk I have something to attend to" dad said and left.
Come to think of it, I still had a vacant space for a witness.
"Mom, how would you like to attend a wedding?"
