Lu Jingyan sat on the chair in the dining room after the incident that happened few minutes ago and since Leng Yumo and Leng Xuanmo had followed their mother she was the only one in the room with her brother
"Sis" Lu Xinyan had called his sister
"Xinyan. It's possible that we would be told to leave the house. Don't fret, don't panic. We can go back to Dad's hospital room and you live there with me going to work and earn money" she said ready for the possibilities
"I know. It's possible that brother Xuanmo ask us to leave the house for his mother and his sister after all they are family and we aren't even related to them in any way" he said.
Tears threatened to fall
Lu Jingyan fought it back and she held her brother's hand to give him some strength but nothing can ease the worry dwelling in the siblings chest.
Both worried if how to protect the other and their father. Jingyan knew her old job won't accept her back and she had to do something to get back in her feet once Leng Xuanmo asked them to leave the Leng manor alone. They are worried the harsh how world would be and how they can protect the other from the harsh world.
They heard a heavy footsteps and they both looked back and saw Leng Xuanmo looking at the both of them with sharp eyes and clench jaws. He looked like the god of slaughter himself. The siblings breathed out and held themselves tightly ready for the judgement Leng Xuanmo is ready to give them
"Are you okay?" He asked shocking the both of them.
*It's normal to be worried about me after all I have been living in his house for a two weeks straight
"Xinyan hope my mother didn't stress you" he asked
"No" Xinyan said
Xuanmo nod "good. Why don't you give to your room? I have something to say to your sister" he said.
Xinyan looked at Lu Jingyan asking if she should really go. She nods and he reluctantly let go of her hand and went to his room
"Are you okay?" Leng Xuanmo asked again
"I am okay." She said "about earlier"
"We will talk about it later. go to your room" he said as he left her alone to go to the study room.
Lu Jingyan sighed and she knew he was preparing his food before he eats it. He wants her for feel at ease before he oust her out of the house.
She has gotten used to it and she must agree she didn't want to leave here but once the decision has been made and the words has been spoken she and her brother would just get out.
Lu Jingyan sat at the edge if the bed lost in thought. But she was obvious about her environment even when Leng Xuanmo walked into the room
"About this morning. I didn't mean it to happen. I didn't mean to make your mother hates me" Lu Jingyan said after she thought of it deeply that she can never pay for her father's hospital fee
Xuanmo didn't respond immediately. He walked over, took a brush from the table, and gently began brushing her hair shocking Lu Jingyan "She hates anything she can't control."
Jingyan looked at his eyes. "Then I must be unbearable to her."
"No," he said simply. "You're just not afraid of her. That makes you dangerous in her eyes."
She looked down. "I didn't mean to cause tension. I've never wanted to tear your family apart."
