Lu Jingyan looked at Leng Xuanmo and realized that was the first time they'd be together in the same room alone and those times were always the hospital room. But this time it's different.
The bedroom. With Lu Jingyan seating at the edge of the bed and with Leng Xuanmo helping her brush her hair.
The hands that hold files and laptops. The hands that command many people with just a wavr of hand is now holding her hair and gently combs her hair. Lu Jingyan wondered how many ladies he has combed their hairs. The hands he used to hold files and laptops and control board rooms are now combing her hair
"I was just wondering how many ladies have you combed their hairs?" Lu Jingyan said
"Why? Are you jealous?" Leng Xuanmo asked
"What? No. Why would I be?" Lu Jingyan asked
"Why won't you be? You are supposed to be jealous" Leng Xuanmo said
"I am not fit to be jealous. I am not fit to take anything from you" she said
Xuanmo dropped the comb on the bed and face Lu Jingyan "Grandma told me she said you shouldn't look down on yourself since you now carry the Leng family name. And yet you are still prejudice" Xuanmo said.
"The Leng family name carry power. Not anyone can carry the power that comes after the Leng and yet I chose you. I chose you to carry the name with me" Leng Xuanmo said
Lu Jingyan kept quiet upon hearing what he said and she realized he was right. The Leng family name is the powerful name in the whole of country f and not anyone can carry the name. Leng Xuanmo was right, since she decided to be amongst the Lengs she must act like the Lengs
"What are you thinking?" He asked
"Nothing" she said as she remembered that the both of them are in the room together she gulped and fidgets her clothing
Leng Xuanmo realized something was wrong with her and he knew what she was thinking. Infact he has thought of it before coming into her room and the thought made him extremely happy.
He loved watching her being nervous and worried and she fidget her clothing once she is nervous. The both of them alone is in the same room makes him think wild and he wanna do some wild things to her but he kept the thought to himself
"Have a good night rest tomorrow we would talk better" he said as he was about to leave the room
"Xuanmo" Lu Jingyan suddenly called
"What is the problem?" He asked facing her
"Have you forgotten?"
"What?"
"We have to head to the civil affairs bureau and gets our license" she said. Leng Xuanmo remembered but he never er wanted to rush her
"The last week I had been busy. I have some pending works to take care of at the office and home so I don't think for now i would be less busy. But once I am less busy I would take you to register" he said
"Okay" she said then he left the room.
Lu Jingyan breathed a sigh of relief. She was not ready to register their marriage but what can be done. She was happy that he pushed it again and told her he would take her once he is less busy. Which give her so many times to prepare herself for the wedding.
"Lu Jingyan. Remember you aren't the weakling Lu Jingyan anymore. You were once a powerful lady and now you are more powerful. Dad just wait I would look for the ones who framed you and avenge our family" she said as she drifted to sleep
