As Silva was walking through the corridors, looking around without any sort of aim, he sensed something in the eastern side of the building.
'Monster' he thought as he summoned his bow. He had no idea why the monster came here. But its better to be prepared if it was planning on making human stew with the students of the building being the main ingredients.
At the same time Apollo who was being questioned by the teachers who were asking whether his nephew was a genius that no one has ever discovered till now.
And Apollo who was planning on guiding his nephew was actually gobsmacked at being blindsided like this. Who knew the god of prophesies can be surprised like this.
But while this was happening, he sensed a change within him. And he immediately realised.
'Damn it, I was not surprised. You made sure to hide it from me' Apollo screamed in his head in anger and got a reply from a voice that was bit more serious.
'He's half roman as well Apollo. I will respect his decision of not choosing a side, but I still want him to know and learn from our form of life' The voice was sharp and disciplined and seemed to expect no backtalk from the Greek Apollo.
Apollo was also able to sense it; the Roman Apollo had planned well. He can feel that a considerable number of roman demigods were nearby. They had no idea what they were doing, they were considered not that important in the future so Greek Apollo was not able to sense them coming here.
But they did their work. Right now, the area is more saturated with the aura of Roman Demigods rather than Greek, making him weaker and allowing his other half to come out.
'Don't you dare do something to put him in trouble; don't think I can't do anything to stop you. I would not hesitate to hurt myself if it meant saving that boy' Apollo growled in his mind.
'Ha, don't you dare threaten me boy. But I agree on you on that subject. Don't forget, my sister's scarier than yours. The boy will be safe; this is just a small meeting. So let go'
Apollo finally relaxed letting the roman counterpart take over him. The change was not noticed by the teachers surrounding him, but the teachers unconsciously straightened up slightly, as if they were in front of an authority figure.
Apollo nodded and used the mist to go out while the teachers were trying to discuss Silva's curriculum. Since he is able to solve college level questions already without any mistakes, he can take the entrance exams under special permissions. But the problem was the lack of knowledge he has in history and current affairs. But some teachers agreed that if that genius was genuine, they can teach him the entire curriculum within a year.
Apollo just smiled as he heard their opinions. He was a Roman who gave more importance to discipline and order. Even though he was raised in a chaotic Greek camp, Silva has shown the demeanour and courage that a perfect Roman is supposed to embody.
At the same time, Silva manged to reach the area where he was sensing the presence of the monster, and right now he was also able to sense the presence of other demigods as well. They were fighting a small chimera that was beating the crap out of the demigods.
Silva had never seen those demigods before and they all seemed to be wearing unfamiliar armour. He was quick to realise that they were from the Roman side. He paused his strides.
He knew about the animosity between the Greek and the roman demigods. Though its more like the romans were angry while the Greeks had no idea they existed and did not even care if they did exist. So, he was thinking whether he should reveal himself or not.
But within moments, he realised the choice was already taken away from his hands. One of the five demigods were about to get impaled by the claw of the chimera.
Silva immediately shot out the arrow, hitting its paw and giving enough time for the demigod to roll away to safely.
As he brought the attention of the Chimera and the demigods towards him, Silva decided it was better not to hide anymore, he came out of the building and began rapidly shooting out arrows that were being formed from the grass under his feet. His bow was making sure to enchant those arrows with monster killing properties.
The demigods realised that the one who appeared was an ally. So, they decided to take this opportunity to take down the chimera. The battle that happened later was anticlimactic as the chimera was unable to do anything due to the attacks done by Silva and was taken down easily by the five demigods.
As the monster vanished, the five demigods let out a breath of relief and then turned towards Silva. They were unable to think what to do next. They knew that the person in front of them was a demigod, but they also knew he was never in camp. Such a strong demigod will not be someone unknown.
Plus, that bow's silver color was something that will leave an impression on anyone who sees it for the first time. The romans had no idea what to do.
And Silva was in the same situation. His excellent communication skills were telling him to stay silent. Though its more like he had no idea what to do.
As the demigods were just standing there in confusion, an authoritative voice suddenly broke them out of their stupor.
"HAS THE ROMAN DEMIGODS GROWN SO PATHETIC NOT TO THANK THE PERSON THAT SAVED THEM" the booming voice made every Roman demigods stand up in attention as they knew that was one of the gods they served.
Silva turned to find out that Apollo was coming from the building. But something was different, unlike the easy going vibe the earlier Apollo had, this one had a more drill sergeant like demeanour.
He realised he was meeting the roman counterpart of his uncle.
A/N- hope you like it.
