Chapter 2 - Chapter 1 - The Earth And Faenas

I have always thought that freedom was always the one that guided me going through where my blood and bones guide me on the ground I walk and that it was always meant to be. The queer voices of old, one that stirs the self to move, it was naturally calling to me. So, I moved without permission.

"Enuen! where are you going!" My mother shouted.

"Halt"

"But..."

The elder of the tribe stopped her. He was a believer who was meekly bounded to nature's laws: So, he let me go.

My feet one with the earth, sounds of bumping where the heart lies in the cages of our chest, it was life breathing. I jumped the hills with smiles surfaced on my face; the grass and land welcomed my feet and rode it like the waves. It gently put me down. I giggled for such an inanimate and soulless matter was moving as if it had the sentience.

"Wanna play?"

The earth nodded showing an almost excitement, however a child I am, I somehow understood in consciousness of the earth that it was vast and unknown from where bones and dust lay is where treasures stay.

It leads the way through the deep forest where everything began for our ancestors, this was a visionary that no one but I was able to access: the supposed secrets that no one knew except for me.

Everything was dark until it wasn't for the fireflies graced the earth that was with me. They happily lined for their mother although I didn't know it yet, for I was the ignorance of the child of the earth at this time. Markings of glyphs, charcoals printed on the walls a symbol of a civilization that once rose beneath the soil.

"Where are we going?"

The soil beneath that carries me in its own mysterious endeavor, always silent yet always moving. There was an opening, the greetings of darkness were upon us and so light emerged. Warm dim of light dawned, dust that whirls slowly by the kiss of the wind on my cheeks, roots cling under, branches that stroked from another as fellow trees, leaves that are shaded in shadows become lit by light, the ever-fair nature is one with me once more.

"What is this place?"

The wave shaped ground strangely motions it's top as if it was a human tilting its head. I laughed a bit.

"You don't know?"

This place seems so old, untouched by the living yet touched by the dead hallows of shadows. What a lonely and beautiful place it was. I walked on the glades of grass, soft and resonating. The tunes of nature sounded, the roots lift me up in wonder and greet. My sight wondered around, the fireflies followed and circled around me.

"Pretty!"

'Such a pretty little robin you are'

"Huh?"

A voice echoes.

'You have lovely green eyes'

These voices so near yet so far, too close yet unknown to the mortal eyes, queer and familiar. Then I realized, they were the agents of the earth, the guides of those whispers on the wind where they pass it on to another, the carrier of voices and the sprites who carries the will of the forgotten queen of spirits and fae. The wind fairies.

"Fairy?"

Quick and swift as they flew towards me. They seemed familiar, like a Deja vu. Mouth gaped, silence breathed. They laughed.

"Did little robin forgot the gifts we bestowed?"

"Gifts?"

"Ah, it seems that they're negligent of our robin. It's kind of sad."

The other fae nudges them.

"hmmm...the earth brought you here."

The fae who speaked looks at the wave shaped earth and smiled. The earth motions, forming a nod gesture.

"I get you, however, isn't this a bit dangerous?"

"Dangerous?"

"Little robin, you are clueless as if they did not teach you the ways of the mouth of mortals... this is a conundrum."

Something was approaching, the fairies flinched. From the darkness that suddenly rose, like the dead gleams of the living. Frightened the fairies grit rose.

"Why is the elder of the forest here?"

"The time has come."

"Already?"

"The goddess of fertility has seconded the notion."

Gasps everywhere was heard; it was clear that fairies were not the only one's present. They rose from the clutches of roots that forbade humans from the intrusion of humans. One of each different species of fae appeared. A banshee, fairies of the other elements perhaps even the rare, light and dark fairies that presented the fortune and omen bringing.

"Why is an outsider favored a notion? Did the queen even agreed upon this notion?"

"No tis not the queen's notion that favored a notion from the fertility herself to agree to act."

"But lord elder! it's too early for the neglected child of earth to go there!"

Said of a unicorn telepathically.

"It's the greater will of the wheel of fate is the one causing the fertility and creator of fae to notion the ones that are bound to them, not even I could speak against the greater will of fate, perhaps even the source could not equate to its arms."

"We can't follow what you utter great elder...but if it's the decision that is concluded... we shall try to aide fellow child of the earth."

In silence they agreed. And so that was the start of my story, a story bound by fate, I wonder where it will take me.
