Adrian spent another 5 minutes transporting the mud to the control room, counting the wooden chips so they total to a 100, all the while scrolling and lurking in the regional chat.
The chat had mellowed down by now, probably everyone doing similar activities as Adrian.
The 100 Energy chips had already finished crafting so he didn't bother to pick them and instead selected the recipe for bioreactor module.
He allowed the permission to withdraw 10L water from the tank, and as before, a timer appeared.
[ Crafting Time - 5 minutes ]
Adrian sighed but there was nothing he could do except going out and collecting more wooden chips from Farzom and counting them till they total a 100 once again.
He needed the first hundred to make the farming pot, while the other hundred to make 5 Bonding spheres.
[[ Durren: Hey Onkar, I'll give you a level 2 zombie in exchange for the stuff. ]]
[[ Evangeline: Wait, you can trade the bonds? ]]
[[ Shawn: Obviously, they are the slaves of the sphere owner, and you can easily sell the sphere. My chip said that a trade option can be unlocked in the control room once it reaches level 3. ]]
Adrian narrowed his eyes at the latest knowledge on the chat, and after thinking a while, he asked a question.
[[ Adrian: Did yours tell you how to level up the control room? ]]
There was a pause, but then a reply came.
[[ Shawn: Nah man, they are pretty secretive. This whole game-like world is really stressful, you know? I don't even know if I'll respawn if I die, and if getting bit by zombie will make me a zombie too, there are questions but no answers. ]]
[[ Onkar: Stressed up fr, wanna buy my stuff to reduce stress? ]]
[[ Shawn: Definitely, tell me where your area is, maybe I can come. ]]
[[ Onkar: Nah, how about you tell me how to level up my control room so I can use the trade function and sell it directly? ]]
[[ Shawn: Didn't I just say that my chip didn't tell me? ]]
[[ Onkar: Hmm, then maybe buy it after you get the information. ]]
[[ Durren: Ayyy what about me? ]]
[[ Onkar: Imma add you as friend, let's talk privately about it. ]]
Adrian smiled wryly, even the dude he thought was goofy didn't sound anything like a pushover, hell, he sounded completely sound and pretty smart.
Was it true that everyone here was one of the best from Earth? But how many were even there?
Adrian saw that the crafting was nearly finished, only 10 seconds left, so he got up with an excited grin.
Bioreactor Module was a cool sounding item name, he wondered how it would look and how it would work.
As the time hit 0, a small wooden chip floated out of the darkness, but it was an actual chip, being a flat little square-ish shape with the grooves that pulsed with deep blue energy.
How was this small chip made out of 50 energy chips, he had no clue.
But then again, it wasn't his job to think about how it was made, at least not yet.
Adrian took the module in his hand and then poured out the 100 wooden chips, starting the recipe to convert them into 50 energy chips.
He then went straight into the help tab and clicked chat.
"How do I use this Bioreactor Module?"
The chip didn't reply, and instead, a new window opened on the screen asking for his confirmation.
[ Upload the Bioreactor Module into the control room? Y/N ]
Without hesitation, Adrian clicked Y, and the bioreactor module began to float, heading towards the backside of the monitor.
Once again, Adrian wasn't able to figure out what was going on in the back, since he still can't view the monitor at that angle.
[ Please choose a tile that you would like to use as the Bio-resources dump. ]
// Note: You can choose a vertical tile as well. The chosen tile can be outside of the control room, as long as it is connected to the control room. //
'I think it's better to be outside, since I can ask others to dump it, and I would rather not have others wandering inside the control room if not necessary.'
With that thought, Adrian walked out of the control room and looked at the control room from outside.
He took a walk around it.
His tap was on the middle tile on the right side of the door, but he didn't feel too good about overcrowding the front section, so he chose the left wall of his control room, and the centermost tile of it.
He took a closer look at the tile and found that a text was engraved in the middle of it, that read 'OL5', and since it was engraved in the same white colour as the the metal, it was hard to notice it unless looked carefully.
He went back inside and said, "I would like to choose the tile OL5."
The monitor made a low whirring sound.
[ Tile OL5 has been chosen as the Bio-resources dump. ]
After that text, the window closed automatically and the same old chatting screen was back.
[ Manager 0420, congratulations on unlocking the bioreactor. You can put any kind of bio waste in the dump and the resources will be converted into energy at the 12AM and 12PM everyday. ]
"What's the time right now then?" Adrian felt stupid asking the question, he had wasted his time calculating the time using the Sun, but he could have simply asked the AI!
[ The time right now is 10:34 AM. ]
Adrian nodded to himself and switched the tab to manager tab, to continue the crafting spree, as the energy chips were done already.
He raised his beloved t-shirt and began to chuck down the wet soil in the ground little by little, until the red coloured '1kg wet soil' turned to green.
When it was done, he finally clicked on the Y to use water from tank and the timer appeared once again.
[ Crafting time: 10 minutes. ]
'Fuck… should've made the spheres first…' Adrian sighed, realizing he couldn't do anything about it now.
So he simply walked out of the control room, "Farzom, that's enough for the wooden chips. Keep them aside and come with me, let's patrol the area."
