Chapter 4 - 4- NOT an architectural genius

Shigure's pov

My conscience returned to my body as i began to awake at the sound of a slight purr and something laying on my lap. I couldn't make it out at first, but it was the animal that those two bears were trying to kill..."and i thought you were their cub... Lucky you." I smiled as i petted the creature that startled at my movement. It got up quickly, long tail.. four legs, two wings... Isn't that.. "a... DRAGON?" My tired eyes suddenly instantly opened up faster than light.

The white dragon continued laying on my lap as i continued laying on the wall of the circular grass arena sort of place. I smiled softly at it. "At least you're not trying to eat me alive like the other ones. Thank you." I continued staring at it before closing my eyes shut. 'im still tired, I should rest more probably... And my backbones are now ashes from how much I hurt them.' i thought with a smirk whilst closing my eyes. The small white dragon then jumped upwards and flew out of the pit. "Care for a ri- eh nevermind." I reached out a hand and pulled back as I said nevermind.

I looked around again, seeing only one half lit tunnel duh through the wall of the pit. I got up, just barely. My feet wobbled as i walk, my stench absolutely disgusting. "Its not like I can take a nice hot bath in here anyway." I sighed out as I picked up a large bone from the bears dead body's and used it as a walking stick to reach the dug up spot. 'its getting cold... That's probably why the dragon left.' i pondered as i there myself into the tunnel and sitting down on the premade sleeping spot. I stared at it after sitting for a while "this isn't gonna cut it..." I examined it from all angles before heading out.

I looked at the female bear, the large gap in its chest and blown through back giving me an idea, a disgusting one.. but also a good one. "I just gotta carve out its insides." I said way too optimisticly as i looked at my bloodied arms "with my hands...." I dragged the word hands dissapointedly before sighing and just sitting down in defeat. "I'll rest for now, work later." I half promised myself before slumping over and hitting my face into the wall "ow.." i winced out even though it didn't even tickle

I leaned on the wall whilst sitting like a fallen knight and almost dozing off until it started raining down here into the domain and into the pit somehow. I got up, legs still weak and wobbly, barely even feeling my arms. I looked upwards and realized there was a Absolutely gigantic hole through the roof that rain poured down through. And the half lit tunnel was already starting to flood. I glanced at the bears body and walked over to it in defeat. "Guess I have no choice." I spat out in annoynce as I walked towards it.

I reached the bears body, and dragging it into the tunnel I began tearing off its fur with my hands. Using it as a makeshift cloak for the cold. After that I looked at the home and sighed hard before going in it and digging out everything. I somehow endured like i was made for it. After that i tooke it's hide and tore out its bones. "I got a good idea." I jumped out of the hole and decided to dig out the tunnel further using a makeshift bone shovel.

I manage to dig around a fairly big spot, I then used the large bear bones as support for the hide that I put on top. I used both the male and female bears fur as a makeshift bed. I found a pile of small stick nearby and stuck them into the wall and using magic to put them on fire "lights done...and, finished!" I yelled out happily as one gust of wind almost knocked it all down. "Eh no wait!" I screamed after it thinking it will fall.

After a few embarrassing hours i finally managed to make a good real livable tent somehow. I also took outside the place I dug up since there were too many small monsters seeking shelter in it. I put it up at the side of the pit, perfect for it to deflect any air or rain. And hearing the rains soothing lullaby, i fell asleep on the fur. Safe and sound for once.
