Chapter 36 - Chapter 36

Without a doubt, as soon as the new question appeared, everyone temporarily stopped their discussions and focused all their attention on it.

However, when they all looked at it, they felt a little bewildered and stunned.

The previous questions, no matter what, were more or less related to the respondents, but this question was about Thor.

It could be said that it had absolutely no connection to the three people present.

Not only that, but the main character involved in the question was also a mythological figure; not to mention Iron Man, even an intelligence chief like Nick Fury had no understanding of him.

"Thor? Nick Fury, although you only have one eye, you see this world more clearly than any of us."

Iron Man looked at Nick Fury with an inquiring gaze, "How much do you know about Thor?"

Nick Fury: "..."

You say I see the world clearly, I admit it; no one knows the secrets of this world better than I do, but does that have anything to do with me having only one eye?

Did you really need to point that out?

"I used to think they were just myths, until today, when I realized they are real alien races."

Nick Fury said to Iron Man irritably, "So, I don't know any more about Thor than you do."

"If that's the case, this question is a bit difficult," Iron Man sighed slightly, resting his chin on his hand.

"Currently, the only clue we have about this Thor is that he might have participated in the Battle of New York, and he is Loki's brother. We know nothing else about him."

Black Widow was also completely bewildered, only able to integrate the existing clues, and that was it.

"Besides the Battle of New York, there's also an Endgame, which was against another even more powerful alien race."

Iron Man added, "Thor should have participated in that battle as well."

"Endgame?" Black Widow was stunned, her face full of disbelief. "So, in the future, Earth will have not only the 'Battle of New York' but also 'Endgame'?

At this moment, Black Widow could be said to be completely rattled.

Half an hour ago, for her, the biggest threats in the world were merely some extremist organizations and crime bosses.

But now someone was telling her that aliens would invade Earth in the future, and more than once!

Even Black Widow, a top S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, couldn't remain calm.

What on earth was happening to this world?

Could people still live in peace!

"So, although Thor and Loki are brothers, they are different? Loki opened the portal for the Chitauri to invade Earth, but his brother is a good friend of humanity?"

Nick Fury summarized.

"It should be so," Iron Man nodded, but wasn't entirely sure. "He appeared in the options multiple times."

"Besides that, are there any other clues to corroborate this?" Nick Fury asked, looking at Iron Man and then Black Widow with his single eye. "Just that point alone isn't very convincing."

"Sir, Stark, do you remember the person who appeared in the 'Battle of New York' footage?"

Black Widow's eyes suddenly lit up as she remembered something, and she said to Nick Fury and Iron Man, "The guy next to Captain America, holding a hammer?"

Iron Man's eyes also brightened: "That must be Thor!"

During the previous questions, everyone's attention was on Iron Man, so they didn't deeply analyze some of the "background characters."

But now that Black Widow brought it up, everyone suddenly realized.

In mythology, isn't Thor a god who wields a hammer?

"No, that is Thor!" Iron Man then said with certainty.

Because the scene of Captain America fighting Thanos with a hammer in Endgame also flashed through his mind.

At the time, Iron Man and Coulson and others thought it was a magical item, but in the Battle of New York footage, Iron Man saw that the hammer was the same as the "cape-wearing guy's" hammer.

With all these clues combined, Iron Man couldn't fail to realize that the hammer Captain America used must be Mjolnir!

That cape-wearing guy was definitely Thor, no doubt about it.

From Iron Man's expression, Nick Fury knew that he must have recalled some clues that confirmed this point.

And those clues were mostly from the previous round of questions, so Nick Fury and Black Widow also believed Iron Man's judgment.

That cape-wearing guy was Thor.

"Alright, we can now confirm that Thor did participate in the Battle of New York, so we have this puzzle piece in front of us."

"Loki came to Earth, stole the Tesseract, and helped the Chitauri invade New York, while Thor fought against the Chitauri with humanity."

"So, in that case..."

Nick Fury looked up at the big screen, "For this question, choose C, stop Loki's conspiracy?"

"Sir, I think that method of judgment is a bit too simplistic and crude," Black Widow, however, offered a different opinion.

"Actually, option B, retrieve the Tesseract placed on Earth, can also fit into that puzzle."

"Thor wanted to come to Earth to retrieve the Tesseract, but his brother Loki got the news beforehand, acted before Thor, stole the Tesseract, and attracted the Chitauri."

"Thor had to defeat the Chitauri to retrieve the Tesseract, which is why Thor chose to temporarily ally with Earth."

"Otherwise, why would someone from Asgard care about the lives of Earthlings?"

"Is it really like in the myths, because Earth is one of the Nine Realms? Is that why Thor offered help? Then why would Loki invade Earth?"

"In the Battle of New York, we always had a crucial question we didn't understand: why did the Chitauri invade Earth, and what was their purpose?"

"Why did Loki, after stealing the Tesseract, continue to stay on Earth and carry out his plans? What was his purpose?"

"Now it seems that dealing with Thor from Asgard might be a sufficient reason."

In Black Widow's description, Thor and Loki, the two brothers, became dark princes who schemed against each other and engaged in open and covert struggles to retrieve the Tesseract.

To snatch the Tesseract, the two brothers used every means at their disposal.

To ensure his brother couldn't get the Tesseract, Loki, after obtaining it on Earth, immediately began making arrangements and secretly allied with the Chitauri.

This way, when his brother arrived on Earth, Loki would directly open the portal and let the Chitauri deal with Thor.

It must be said, this indeed aligns with Loki's identity as the God of Mischief.

And Thor truly fell into the trap; upon arriving on Earth, he was immediately besieged by the Chitauri, so he chose to temporarily ally with the Earthlings.
