Danilo looked at the monsters in front of him; all of them were larger than he was.

Wolves.

Boars.

Monkeys.

Even birds.

After appearing, they did not attack immediately. They merely stared at Danilo.

At first, he did not notice it, but the moment the monsters appeared, the arena fell silent—an absolute silence that lasted only an instant.

Completely focused on the monsters, Danilo failed to notice this small detail.

In the VIP area were the representatives of the great powers of the fifth stage.

Representatives of clans.

Guilds.

Chambers of commerce.

All of them had their delegates there, acting as scouts for their respective forces.

The Celestial Tower has one hundred floors, and each floor is divided into ten sub-floors.

Danilo's mission was to cross the entire first floor—that is, all ten sub-stages—at level zero.

Each nation possesses a Tower, functioning like a kind of server.

Each Tower has its own serial number.

From the third floor onward, everyone enters a shared space, sharing the same environment.

That means that on the third floor, people encounter individuals from the same server.

From the fifth floor onward, it becomes global server mode.

On the tenth floor, universal server.

On the fiftieth floor, galactic server.

The six modes will always exist:

Easy.

Normal.

Hard.

Hell.

Purgatory.

Abyss.

However, they are no longer limited to a fixed number of ten thousand monsters.

In one of the arena's VIP booths sat a particular group of people.

All of them were luxuriously dressed and watched the arena with obvious boredom.

They were representatives of the Hands of God guild.

One of the largest guilds in the City of Chaos.

The guild leader was a blacksmith with an SS-rank talent called Blacksmith's Soul—a talent that allows him to never fail a forge, regardless of the weapon. As long as he has the correct formula and sufficient mana, even mythical weapons can be forged by him.

Because it was an extremely coveted talent, Adam Luavo hid his ability for a long time, accumulating power and influence in the shadows.

When his talent was finally discovered, he was already far too influential and had secured the right allies.

Subjugating him had become virtually impossible.

In that room was Mungo Luavo, Adam Luavo's youngest son.

Among all the children, he was the least talented—but also the most ambitious.

He possessed a B-rank talent called Golden Body, which increased his defense by three hundred percent.

The chances of inheriting his father's mantle were almost nonexistent.

After all, he had no talent for forging.

But the Hands of God were not limited to blacksmiths alone.

Although the guild's true power lay in its craftsmen, they were untouchable.

They could recruit excellent fighters.

The salaries were high.

The benefits, enormous.

Joining the Hands of God guild was, for many, an opportunity that could not be refused.

Mungo Luavo had a single goal: one day to inherit the leadership of the Hands of God.

Although, from the outside, this seemed impossible, he preferred to believe otherwise.

Thus, he decided to create a group of powerful confidants.

The idea was to recruit capable subordinates, offer them benefits and training, and later place them in strategic positions within the guild.

When the old man finally wished to retire, with luck, those six men would already occupy positions of prominence.

One of the best places to recruit talent was the arena.

Danilo looked at the group of monsters and, suddenly, three boars nearly two meters tall charged forward aggressively.

Before that, Danilo's attributes had already been multiplied by ten.

After equipping the Monster-Devouring Armor, his strength increased by one hundred and fifty percent, while his agility and defense increased by one hundred percent.

This caused his attributes to nearly double.

He was far more powerful than before.

The Sky Slayer transformed into a bow.

Danilo thought carefully.

He wanted to hide some trump cards.

He knew that, despite this being another planet, there was still a chance he would encounter these people again in the future.

Therefore, he decided to limit the abilities he would use.

A spiritual arrow formed.

He released it.

The arrow struck one of the boars in the forehead.

He dealt with two while the other two advanced.

As expected, the boar that was hit did not die.

Bronze-ranked creatures were far more resilient.

To kill them, more than four arrows were required.

So he began firing relentlessly.

The first boar, already wounded, tried to retreat to recover while the others attacked.

At that moment, four more arrows struck it, reaping its life.

The other two reached Danilo and tried to knock him down by trampling him, likely using heavy charge abilities.

Danilo was faster.

He took two steps to the left, and the first one rushed past him.

The Sky Slayer transformed into a dagger.

As the boar passed, immediately after the dodge, the blade pierced its side, ripping into its belly.

The monster let out a scream of pain.

Danilo leapt swiftly and jumped over the creature's head.

In midair, the Sky Slayer transformed into a giant hammer—similar to Thor's Stormbreaker, which is both axe and hammer at once.

Looking at the army of monsters he still had to face, he believed that this would be the most suitable weapon.

With Stormbreaker, he delivered a violent blow and crushed the head of the boar beneath him.

Only the last one remained.

Danilo kicked its ribs, hearing the crack of breaking bones, and the creature was knocked down.

Then he leapt, brandished the blade, and decapitated the monster.

The arena had initially fallen silent because they realized that Danilo's rank was not what everyone had expected.

Normally, the arena is the place where conflicts between all races of the planet Soba are resolved.

The Celestial Domain has existed on planet Soba for hundreds of years.

In fact, until quite recently, the most powerful beings on this planet had not even reached the thirtieth floor.

The arrival of the Celestial Domain, as on many other planets, brought evolution.

At first, like everyone else, the dominant race was happy to be able to break its limits and ascend to something far greater and unimaginable.

But they discovered, in the cruelest way, that all races possess the capacity and privilege to evolve—not just one.

Just as on Earth, in Kiala's past life, after some time all races joined together to overthrow the dominant race.

Although resentment played a role, the main reason was survival.

On this planet, the human race was also the dominant one.

One year after the arrival of the Celestial Domain, humanity was reduced to less than twenty percent of the population and forced to isolate itself in satellite cities with enormous walls, thus ushering in the era of career change.

When people speak of conflict resolution, they speak of champions—condemned.

Chosen elites—forced—to fight against chosen elites of other races.

The City of Chaos is a kind of neutral zone, where all races are permitted.

Although the battles are bloody and cruel, the rewards are absurd, allowing one to make a name and, with luck, be recruited by a powerful force.

When Danilo entered, at first everyone thought he would fight some foreign champion.

But after seeing the absurd number of monsters that appeared in the arena, everyone fell silent.

Never, not even in their wildest dreams, had they imagined witnessing such a situation—especially in the Arena of the Hero.

After the slaughter of the first three creatures, following a brief silence and shock, the entire arena erupted in astonishment and excitement.

The crowd went wild.

Danilo looked at the nearly crazed audience and found it amusing.

Then he turned his gaze back to his opponents.

They had formed a kind of combat formation.

Ten squads.

Fifty gorillas.

Five hundred boars.

Five hundred wolves.

Nine hundred eagles.

Some races had more units, others fewer, but that was the overall formation.

The first squad advanced.

Ten boars in front.

Ten wolves right behind.

Ten eagles in the sky.

The boars charged like tanks.

Danilo saw the wolves release wind blades.

He dodged.

With Stormbreaker in hand, he faced head-on the boar that used a savage charge.

With the giant hammer and attributes above two hundred points, the boar came to an abrupt halt upon receiving the blow to the head.

A dry crack echoed.

The skull split.

But it did not die.

A loud scream resounded through the arena.

Danilo was stunned.

He was knocked down.

At that very moment, all of them attacked at once, mercilessly crushing him.
