The entire surroundings were on fire; tall trees which had remained standing for years burned fiercely, smoke curling upward, forming large pillars.
[Execution streak: 51]
With each kill Xavier moved closer to his goal. However, multiple burn marks had once again appeared on his skin; maybe it was his body which had started to slow down, or the tiger got faster, but it had managed to catch up with him multiple times.
Just at this time, the Fire Breathing Tiger roared furiously. Its large maw opened revealing a row of razor-sharp teeth that could even cut through steel. Deeper into the creature's mouth a sun seemed to glow brightly; golden particles rapidly converged, slowly forming into a red glowing ball of fire. The next moment the ball of fire was fired, clearly aimed at Xavier, aiming to incinerate him.
Xavier was caught almost completely unprepared, but still, before the ball of intense coil hit his figure, he threw his body to the side, relying on pure instincts.
Whoosh! The ball flew past his face scorching his hair, hitting a large oak tree in the distance. BOOM! A terrifying explosion echoed; the impact sent the tree flying in the air, the shockwave made a couple of zombies fall on their butts.
Perfect opportunity! Xavier rushed to these fallen zombies, instantly reaping dozens of lives; the execution streak immediately jumped upwards.
[Execution streak: 60]
[Execution streak: 65]
At this point the Deathwill Aura was so strong on his figure, Xavier felt as if he was on steroids, muscles bulging, a sense of clarity filling his mind. He had a feeling he could even exchange blows with the tiger, but of course, this was just an illusion brought by the rapid increase in strength.
Xavier's eyes were slightly solemn; although he had managed to avoid the blow, the injuries he was accumulating continued to increase.
Just then a slightly foreign notification flashed at the corner of his vision:
[Infinite Execution Record Updated]
[A new entry added: Zombie Race, Spiritual Record 1%]
[Once the Spiritual Record increases to 100%, anyone of this race could be instantly executed.]
[As the record percentage increases, the difficulty in killing will also decrease significantly.]
Although Xavier didn't fully understand the significance, now when his blade passed through the zombie bodies, it felt a little smooth like a hot knife through butter, as if the sole reason these zombies existed was to die under his hands.
With this, the rate at which the execution streak went up also increased significantly.
Without even realizing, Xavier heard the familiar chime of Infinite Record echoing in his head.
[200 Cumulative Executions Successfully Achieved.]
[Your execution path has become more clear; after killing tens of creatures, a strong death and violence surrounds you.]
[10 freely distributable points awarded.]
[You have learned Class Skill: Deathwill Executioner Aura.]
Strangely, unfamiliar memories that he felt as if he was born with them appeared in his head. A strange crimson halo surrounded his figure, thick and pungent; a sense of loud adrenaline rushed through his body. The veins in his body elongated and enlarged.
Before he could process the changes, another window explaining the Deathwill Executioner Aura popped in front of him.
[Deathwill Executioner Aura

The window explained everything that he needed to know in a clean and crisp manner.
After reading through the description, he understood everything and looked at his own hands. This crimson halo that surrounded him should be Deathwill Executioner Aura, and if the effect is to be believed...
My stats are probably doubled!!
The Fire Breathing Tiger stopped, its two eyes focused on Xavier; a tinge of wariness mixed with confusion was clear in the monster's eyes.
It could not understand just how, all of a sudden, a prey that it was playing around with gave it a sense of threat.
"Just you wait little tiger, this big brother will teach you some manners real quick..."
Although he said these words, he didn't immediately attack the tiger. Xavier had his reasons for not directly attacking the tiger.
Deathwill Executioner Aura, although it was without a doubt a good skill, its power bonus is tied to the execution streak. Once I attack the tiger and am unable to kill the monster in a single attack, the execution streak will be reset to zero.
As such he didn't attack but moved on to the zombies running around.
First I will farm these zombies and strengthen the execution streak, once the bonus is big enough...
Then it would be the time to deal with the monster.
With the hundred percent bonus from Deathwill Aura, Xavier felt like a superman. His senses sharp, each step that he took propelled his body to a great distance. It made sense considering the fact that his agility without any bonuses was 41, and with the bonus it was close to 80; that was eight times the normal person before the apocalypse.
Xavier couldn't even describe it in words, but there was one thing that he knew: it was mad fast... like really, really fast.
He zipped around the battlefield like a crimson phantom, beheading zombies left and right.
Like a rocket, the execution streak continued to climb high.
Surrounded by scorching flames from all sides, Xavier's figure enveloped in thick Deathwill Aura easily stood out.
After attempting to kill Xavier and failing all the time, the Fire Breathing Tiger seemed to have grown slightly pissed. Its mouth was wide open spraying the entire area with scorching flame, effectively turning the surroundings into a hellish landscape.
[Execution Streak: 150]
A terrifying explosion sounded as Xavier vanished from the original spot and appeared above the Fire Breathing Tiger figure. The Warden Runeblade drew a clean arc through the air and struck the tiger's head.
Swish! Xavier felt as if he had struck iron; the impact caused his hands to shake. Although the tiger's skin was incredibly tough, his strength was also at another level.
Facing slight resistance, the sword moved all the way in. A pained whimper escaped from the monster's mouth; the next moment it staggered and fell.
Xavier also let out a sigh of relief when he heard the familiar chime.
[Ding!...]
