[Ding! You have absorbed the records of First Sequence Fire Breathing Tiger Soul Record. +5 Strength +6 Agility +8 Health +12 Mana +4 Stamina.]

[Ding! You have leveled up!]

[Ding! You have leveled up...!]

[You have reached Level 15.]

[Congratulations young Awakener for ranking within the top one thousand. Continue working hard; you have an opportunity to evolve.]

[The rarity of item drops across all grades has gone up significantly. Now the chance of Epic grade items dropping from monsters is high.]

[For ranking within the top 1000, you have been bestowed with the title of Hoarder.]

[Hoarder - Bestowed upon all those who have managed to rank within the top one thousand.]

[Title Effect - All drops are automatically deposited to your inventory.]

[Your inventory...]

.

.

It was as if floodgates had been forced open; his vision was filled with near-endless blue notifications. Xavier's facial expression, which had turned incredibly sour upon seeing no items, finally recovered when he read the reward for ranking within the top one thousand.

While he was going through the windows, all the injuries that he received were fully healed, not a single scratch getting left behind.

It was only after one full minute that Xavier finished sorting through all the notifications. Other than the first few, the others were just a useless bunch not worth paying attention to. Now his focus finally shifted to the inventory.

Items dropped by the First Sequence monster should be good, right!

With anticipation bubbling in his heart, he summoned the inventory window.

Millie's steps suddenly came to a halt when the loud, blood-chilling roars suddenly stopped echoing.

For a moment, a rather impossible thought popped into her head.

Could it be... did he succeed in killing that monster?

If it was anyone else, Millie would not have dared to entertain the thought, but for some reason, whenever it had something to do with him, she was filled with confidence.

Just at this time, a cold voice reverberated beside her ear. "Don't stop; continue moving."

It was Jackie who had spoken.

Immediately after these words, Millie came out of her lost state and continued moving forward without looking back.

This girl...! Aron shook his head with a complex look on his face. Millie's behavior continued to disappoint him again and again.

Without saying another word, he increased his speed. Fort John was just a few hundred meters ahead; they had finally managed to reach their destination.

Jackie's gaze unconsciously drifted backward to the towering orange flames burning in the distance, leaping toward the sky. That monster was definitely way beyond our league, yet he managed to kill it alone. Just what sort of class did he awaken...?

She asked, but there was no one to answer her questions.

"Hmm, these rewards are strange..." Xavier muttered while examining the two items that had appeared in his inventory.

Other than the two healing potions and one instant kill token, there were two additional items added into the inventory, most likely dropped by the Fire Breathing Tiger.

Alright. Here's a clean, system-grade token. Simple, dangerous, and absolutely something people would kill over.

As Xavier focused on one of the items, a shiny rectangular crystal with one faint rune embedded at the center appeared in his hand. Its metallic surface was cold as a block of ice. Just as he was thinking what it was, a window explaining its effect floated in his vision.

[Grade Ascension Token

Type: Consumable - Authority Item

Rarity: First Sequence

Description:

A one-time-use token infused with stabilised Sequence Authority. When applied, it upgrades any First Sequence item by one full grade, preserving all existing effects while enhancing their potency and structural integrity.

Effect:

Target: Any First Sequence item

Result: Item grade +1

Success Rate: 100%

Restrictions:

- Cannot be used on items above First Sequence

- Cannot stack on the same item

- Destroyed upon use]

Of all the items that he received so far, the description of the First Sequence Grade Ascension Token was clean and easy to read. Just one look and Xavier understood what it could be used for.

Next his attention shifted to the glowing book; this was what he was most excited about.

A skill book!!

Just as he focused on it, a pristine white book appeared in his hands. Similar to what happened with the Grade Ascension Token, the book's description appeared in his vision.

[Skill Book Name: Spatial Axis Shift

Grade: First Sequence Rare Grade

This skill book records a forbidden spatial principle that allows the practitioner to alter the orientation of spatial axes within a limited area, redefining directions such as up, down, forward, and distance.

Rather than moving objects, the cultivator shifts the framework space operates on, forcing everything within range to obey the new orientation.]

Without wasting much time, Xavier crushed the skill book and foreign memories appeared in his head, memories about the skill as if he had practiced for years.

[Skill Gained!!]

[Spatial Axis Shift (Active)

Rotate, tilt, or offset spatial axes in a fixed radius for a short duration.

Known Effects:

- Enemies lose balance and spatial awareness

- Projectiles curve unnaturally

- Falls, charges, and movement are forcibly redirected

Warnings:

- Incorrect comprehension may cause spatial nausea or self-dislocation

- Overuse leads to temporary loss of directional sense]

Unconsciously a small smile formed on Xavier's lips. The skill was pretty decent for being only at the Rare grade; at least he wouldn't have to worry about enemies shooting his head from the distance.

A win is a win.

Although a skill with direct offensive capabilities would have been perfect, a skill like this made him look forward to fighting new enemies, in all the situations he could use the skill.

During all this time, Xavier didn't seem to have realized the change that he was undergoing. It had barely been a day since the world changed and Xavier's priorities had shifted entirely.

Just yesterday he was thinking about getting out of prison, and now suddenly he was looking forward to smashing monsters with his new skill. Just how fast times change.

The gains that he had gotten from killing the First Sequence monster were going to take some time. The commotion this fight created was huge and was bound to attract something. Xavier didn't want to stay around to find just what exactly it was. With all these things in his mind, he hit the road, heading toward Fort Johnson at the fastest speed.
