Danny wakes up feeling amazing. His energy felt amazing and his head super clear. 'You two feel good?' Danny mentally asked the Ectopi laying on his chest.
-
'Yes Danny. What happened yesterday?' Charybdis asked in Danny's mind.
-
'Yeah. I feel so much more powerful. Did meditation really cause this?' Scylla asked, stretching their tentacles as they both flew up from his chest.
-
"I think so?" Danny switched back to his voice. "I remember seeing these different colored orbs that felt like parts of us." He then explained what he did while he was unconscious. Danny mentally vowed to train in their new powers. The Ectopi were excited to see if they had any new powers .
Danny felt his stomach tell him that he was hungry, and he saw that he slept the whole day after the interview with Sidney and it's a few hours before he would usually wake up for school. Danny went down to get something to eat for him and his Ectopi.
Danny found his parents sitting at the dining table, drinking coffee. Danny went past them to get the cereal and the milk. "Morning." Danny said, a little more chipper than he usually was in the morning.
-
"Morning son. Are you feeling alright? You were asleep all day after the naming of the… Ectopi?" Jack asked, not remembering if that was what they were called. Getting a nod from his wife, he continued. "I see their Gold and Silver now. Who is who?"
-
Danny held a hand behind Charybdis. "The gold one is Charybdis." Danny held the same hand behind Scylla. "The silver one is Scylla." He told his parents. "And I didn't sleep after the naming; I slept after I got home from the attack on school." Danny informed them.
-
"Speaking of which, what really attacked the school?" Maddie asked with a hint of suspicion. "Some people say it was supervillains, and others say it was a ghost. Could this ghost friend of yours, Sidney Poindexter?, could he be the cause of it? I'm only asking because you said you met a ghost on your first day, and by the second you had a ghost attack." She added, not wanting her son to think she was baselessly accusing his ghost friend.
-
Danny glared at her anyways. "Sid helped fight the ghost, distracting her so Kim and I could capture the bad ghost." He explained to his mother, trying not to have his eye glow at the accusation thrown at his friend. "Sidney doesn't like bullies. He even helped charge the Fenton Thermos." Danny explained to his parents, who looked surprised and a little excited at the information.
-
"Amazing! So fresh ectoplasm helps get our inventions working right. Do you think he would be willing to help charge some of our other inventions?" Jack asked, he was as excited as a kid getting told his favorite hero was coming.
-
"I can ask right now if you want?" Danny told them. "Scylla, would you be willing to send a letter to Sidney for me?" He asked the silver ghost cephalopod, knowing that they wouldn't refuse, and that they were better suited for speed and agility.
-
"Yes! I will do it really fast! Especially after the boost we got after the naming." Scylla slipped into Gholric in excitement, but not enough to mention the meditation, thankfully for Danny.
-
Danny wrote down the letter explaining what his parents wanted, also telling him that he would do it for him if needed be, as well as the meditation and the orbs. Scylla nearly ripped it out of his hands when he was finished and sped out of the house. She came back nearly a minute later saying that he would try, but he only had small amounts of ectoplasm to give away and if they weren't used on good ghosts. Scylla added in their mental link that Sidney wanted to hear more about what happened with the meditation. Danny saw his parents go on their way down to the lab to get some of their weaker inventions, not even apologizing about accusing his friend of attacking the school. Danny knew where they were coming from, with the timing and all, but he didn't need to like it.
-
Jazz came down the stairs, not really having slept well, just as her parents came back up with some of their inventions. She momentarily panicked, but calmed when she saw Danny inspect them, talking about taking them to school and about his friend charging them. Jazz saw a pair of gauntlets, some wrist blasters, and a box-looking thing that she heard was a ghost-shield. She knew that these were the weaker weaponry and mostly for self-defense, from what she heard her parents say before.
-
Danny noticed her first. "I told them how Sidney charged the Fenton Thermos, and they theorized that the charge from fresh ectoplasm can help keep their inventions from going haywire." He explained to his older sister. "The only condition was that it had to be small and not hurt ghosts too badly. What do you think we should prioritize in getting in proper working order, if we'll be dealing with ghost attacks now?" Danny asked her, waving a hand as if to present the tech on the table.
-
Jazz thought it over for a moment. "Either the gauntlet or the wrist blasters." She told her family. "Well, since I saw that Kim tried to help that new ghost hero with fighting the ghost, she may try again and get hurt badly in the process. We could give the gauntlets to her, so she won't get hurt being a hero. Same thing with the wrist blasters, but more of us could help fight from a distance at least." She explained her choices, knowing that Danny and his friends were going to keep fighting the bad ghosts, but that Kim had the most experience.
-
"That's what I was thinking." Danny told his sister. "We were there for both attacks, and while Charybdis and Scylla could take them on, they seem keen on guarding us from danger, and splitting focus in a battle is a bad thing and could lead them to getting hurt." Danny said, worried about the safety of his Ectopi.
-
"Both attacks?!" All Fentons except Danny asked, surprised at the mention of a previously unknown attack.
-
"It could barely be called an attack." Danny tried to reassure his family. "He was just a freak who had an obsession with boxes and wanted to use the contents to hurt people." He explained to them what was in the boxes the Box Ghost was using and how easily Charybdis could take him on before becoming all golden. "Now, both of them went and metamorphosed and I can sense that they are much stronger than yesterday."
-
"Alright, where are these bad ghosts? You said you caught them in the thermos?" Jack asked, eager to study them.
-
"I'm not pawning them off to you just so you can tear them apart by their molecules." Danny told his father sternly. "I was going to have Scylla take them through the portal and release them far from wherever the portal comes out to on the other side." He told his family. The parents looked sad and Jazz smiled approvingly. "I think I'll do that now, since I'm thinking about it." Scylla was faster and flew to grab the Fenton Thermos and Danny went to meet them down at the portal.
-
"Danny, wait! We weren't going to do that, we planned to release them after you told us that there could be good ghosts, we were just gonna scan them a bit and take some samples." Maddie explained to her son as the family followed him to the basement lab.
-
That gave Danny pause, as he stopped in front of the portal. "We could get more Ecto-signatures." Danny thought out loud to himself. He looked at Jazz. "Did you happen to get Wade's contact information from Kim?" He asked his sister, who shook her head.
-
"Who's Wade and why would you think of him when we could do all that ourselves?" Jack asked his son, patting him on the back, making him stumble a bit towards the portal. Thankfully, the doors were shut, so there was no danger of him falling in. Scylla flew down from the ceiling and stopped beside Danny with the Fenton Thermos in one of their tentacles.
-
"It was in Jazz's room. I had to go in there to get them." Scylla told Danny, annoyed at how long it took to find and bring the canister. They looked at Jazz. "Sorry. I didn't touch anything else though, don't worry." Scylla apologized.
-
"As long as you didn't touch anything when you did that, it's fine. I totally forgot I took that when Danny was asleep." Jazz admitted.
-
"You forgot where the device holding the ghost that destroyed the school's cafeteria wall?" Maddie said incredulously towards her daughter.
-
"The ghost didn't destroy the wall, the supervillains did. Kim called them Dr. Drakken and Shego." Charybdis corrected Danny's mother, defending the ghost from unnecessary blame.
-
"Sorry." Maddie told the ectopi. "And tell Sidney that I'm sorry for accusing him of the attacks on your school. That was uncalled for." She told Danny, remembering what she said about the only nice human ghost her son has befriended.
-
Danny smiled, happy his mother was apologizing for what she said. "Will do, mom. I'm sure he'll appreciate it." He told her. He turned to Scylla. "We decided to have Wade scan the two ghosts we caught like he did you two. Sorry to make you do something unnecessary, Scylla." He apologized to the silver octopus. The doorbell went off upstairs. 'Can one of you say you heard the doorbell ring?' Danny mentally told the ectopi.
-
"We think there's someone at the door." Both ectopi said in unison.
-
"Scylla, can you go see who it is invisibly?" Scylla was already racing to do the task before Danny could finish.
-
"You really should reward Scylla for all the work you have her do." Jazz told her brother. She could see that Scylla was upset with themself that they couldn't complete their task fast enough. She also knew that Danny didn't need either Scylla or Charybdis to work so hard to appease him.
-
"I know just what I can do." Danny smiled. "Do we have any of those gummy fruit snacks?" He asked Charybdis, who left as Scylla came back.
-
"It's just Kim and some older woman that kinda looks like her." Scylla informed the Fentons. "I was still invisible because you didn't tell me that Mrs.Dr. Possible was on the list of people allowed to see me yet." They explained.
-
"Mrs.Dr.?" Jazz whispered to Danny, confused about the double prefixes.
-
"Ron called Kim's father Mr.Dr. and everyone just went along with it." Danny shrugged.
-
"You did good, Scylla. You were outside when you went to look. That is another rule you would have broken should you have revealed yourself." Charybdis came back, mentally informing him that they did have the fruit snacks.
-
"Charybdis is right. Revealing yourself to her outside would have been bad. Now, let's not keep them waiting." Maddie said, excited to finally see her old friend again. She was also wondering why she came to see us so early.
-
As the Fenton family reached the ground floor, Danny made a beeline for the fruit snacks. "Here Scylla, for all your hard work the past day or so, I'm letting you have a packet of fruit snacks." He tossed the pack to the silver octopus, who caught it with one tentacle. "Sorry if it's not much, but it was all I could think of to thank you for your work yesterday and this morning."
-
Maddie opened the front door to see Kim and Ann Possible standing in front of her, just as Scylla told them. "Ann! It's been so long." She hugged her old college roommate. "Hi Kim, Danny and Jazz are both awake already, so you can hang with them." Maddie told the younger redhead, her and Jack moving aside for her to go in.
-
Kim moved past her mother's friends and went to hers. She found them in the kitchen with Scylla eating some fruit snacks while tiny. They seemed to be savoring it while that size, as Scylla took two bites of each snack. Charybdis seemed to notice her first and moved to greet her. Kim petted the golden octopus on the top of its head.
-
"Hey Kim, not that I don't like your company, I do, but why are you here this early?" Danny asked, eating his own fruit snacks and offering some to the two redheads.
-
Both Kim and Jazz grabbed one, and after they asked, Charybdis was allowed some of Danny's. "I may have let slip that there were two ghost attacks yesterday at school. She wanted to come and talk to your parents, and I came to re-introduce them, but it seems that's not needed." Kim told the two of them. "Speaking of yesterday, what happened? Tucker said that you were unconscious the rest of the day after Ron and I left." Kim wanted answers.
-
"I'll explain once our parents aren't here." That was all Danny would tell her about that right now as the parents in question walked into the kitchen. Scylla and Charybdis were already invisible when they came in.
-
"You can show yourselves now. She knows, we told her." Jack told the invisible octopi, who appeared as if out of thin air. The two Ectopi waved at the new person, Charybdis, finishing their fruit snacks that Danny gave them.
-
Ann looked at the two octopi in front of her, lounging around a couple of self-proclaimed ghost hunters, in astonishment. "I can't believe I'm seeing actual ghosts." She put a hand on Maddie's shoulder to keep herself standing. "Amazing. How did you come to them Danny?" She asked the raven-haired child.
-
Danny gave a slightly revised explanation as to how he met Charybdis and Scylla, leaving out his transformation and the wishing to speak to all ghosts. He also told her about Sidney, who helped them catch the two bad ghosts. "That just goes to show you that not all ghosts are evil or bad." Danny finished his story.
-
"That's amazing Danny. So you said they could speak their own language. Gholric was it? Can I hear it?" Ann asked, her interest in Maddie's paranormal science coming back, now that she knew ghosts were actually real.
-
Scylla showed her. "This is what Gholric sounds like Mrs.Dr. Possible. The Fentons can also speak in Gholric." They said that last bit in English.
-
All of the Fentons demonstrated their ability to speak Gholric. "We theorize that people being near ectoplasm for extended periods of time can lead to learning the language alive so they can speak it when they're ghosts." Maddie explained to her friend.
-
"The ghost that Danny befriended said that it's rare for human ghosts to acquire the ability to speak it at all. It was also impossible for any living human to speak it at all, but we showed him. Didn't we, Danny?" Jack said, proud of achieving what even the dead thought impossible.
-
That was when Ann's pager beeped. "Sorry, I need to get to work, emergency. I don't think I have time to take you back home Kim." She told her daughter. "I know that this was last minute, but could she stay here until your kids leave for school?" Ann asked her old friends, who had smiles on their faces.
-
"Of course, Annie! Your kids are welcome here anytime." Jack told her. "And if she needs anything from home we can always have Charybdis or Scylla go fetch it for her." He offered, getting nods from the beings mentioned.
-
"No worries. I already expected this and packed all that I needed for school." Kim told her friends' dad she followed her mom to the car to get her stuff. She came back with her school bag. "Maybe Wade is up now? That way we could get the captured ghosts' ecto-signatures before we release them back into their world." She pulled out her Kimmunicator to check if her computer kid was awake. He was, for whatever reason. She called him and he answered immediately.
-
"What do you need Kim?" Wade asked as he got on screen.
-
"I'm at Danny's and thought you could scan the ghosts we captured yesterday." Kim told him. "Danny is awake now and I thought to ask you since I know you couldn't scan them because he was asleep. His parents are with me and probably want to collaborate with you for making some ghost tech at a later date." She informed him, indirectly letting him know not to let slip about Phantom.
-
"So that's Wade. What's an ecto-signature?" Jack asked the kids, now heading to the lab.
-
"An ecto-signature is what we're calling the unique energy signatures that ghosts give off. We want to catalog them, so the weapons don't hurt the friendly ghosts we meet." Danny explained how he had let Wade know about them yesterday before lunch and got his ectopi scanned and revealed that, while similar, they had distinct energy signatures. "We should probably have them scanned again now that they have changed colors and strength." He told everyone in the group.
-
"Changed? Yeah, we probably should." Wade said a small prehensile eye cable came out of the Kimmunicator. "Woah. They are much more powerful than yesterday. Did sleeping really cause this?" Wade asked no one in particular. Thankfully, the Fenton parents didn't seem to notice the question. They were focused on figuring out how to make a whitelist for technology.
-
"Maybe we should get a scan of that ghost hero Jazz mentioned before. If he is a hero, he may need help only we can give him. He did need Kim to use the Fenton Thermos to catch the ghost at the school." Maddie explained to the group of kids.
-
All the teens in the room agreed. Danny was especially happy that they wanted to help him, even if it's not him in their minds right now. 'Maybe I can tell them sooner than I thought.' He thought to himself. "So Wade, Do you think you can ignore signatures you've already collected when scanning for new ones?" Danny asked the kid on the screen.
-
"Definitely shouldn't be a problem. You gonna have one of the ectopi hold them so we can scan them?" Wade asked, already knowing the answer.
-
"Yeah. I was gonna have them hold the ghosts for you before we send them back through the portal." Danny confirmed. "Ooh, Sidney told me about natural portals the day before yesterday. Maybe you should scan the portal here so we can find any in the outside world. He even said that there was one in what should be Wisconsin." Danny explained excitedly, a bit similar to his father in some respects.
-
"Did you say Wisconsin? Our old partner, Vlad Masters, lives there. Are you saying he has a portal? Didn't think he would build one after the accident that gave him ecto-acne." Maddie told them.
-
"Are you saying you went to college with The Vlad Masters? The founder and CEO of VladCo.?" Wade asked, astonished. He shared a look with Kim and put a reminder to look into Vlad Masters later.
-
"Yeah, he got hit by a blast from the Proto-portal we had back then." Jack sniffed as he said that. "We should probably get to scanning and releasing the ghosts now."
-
Everyone nodded at that and Danny released one of the ghosts, the Lunch Lady, and Charybdis latched onto each of her limbs and spread her out. She was dazed and confused. Wade scanned her and Charybdis was off through the portal before the Fenton Parents could protest. They did the same thing with Box Ghost and Scylla. The ectopi were back in five minutes, Scylla dragging Charybdis cause they were faster.
-
"CLOSE THE PORTAL!" Scylla yelled and Danny complied immediately, but wasn't fast enough, as a dragon's head got caught in the portal.
-
Danny's first instinct was to use the thermos, and he pointed it towards the dragon, just as the dragon started breathing fire. The thermos vacuumed the fire as it came until the dragon stopped. Danny then instinctively released all the flames back at the dragon, which caused what appeared to be a golden necklace off of its neck and the dragon started to turn into a woman with green skin and wearing a light blue gown.
-
"I just wanted to go to a costume party!" The regal woman exclaimed to the ceiling. She looked confused for a moment until she looked at Danny. "You freed me, warrior. Thank you!" She curtsied to him.
-
"You're welcome. You'll have to wait a month or two, but that's when the people here have costume parties. I'm Danny. What may I call you?" Danny asked, feeling positive feelings coming off her.
-
"Of course, I nearly forgot my manners. I'm Princess Dorathea of the Time-Locked Lands. You, fair warrior, may call me Dora though." She smiled a regal smile that didn't have the right emotions to it.
-
"Greetings, Dora. Pray tell, what exactly did I free you from? As well as from who?" Danny asked, worried about the emotions she was giving off at those questions. "You don't need to answer those questions if they are too much for you, Dora." Danny tried to reassure her. He looked around to see Kim and Jazz standing between Dora and his parents, as well as the golden necklace on the floor next to the princess.
-
"It is no issue, warrior Danny. What you freed me from was the Necklace of Dorathea that my brother Aragon cursed, and the punishment my brother inflicted on me when I said I wanted to wear a costume to a party." She answered both of his questions.
-
"No offense princess, but it sounds like your brother is evil." Jack told the ghost princess.
-
"None taken, sir. He is evil, very much so. The people would like for him to not be the ruling prince and for me to take his place." Dorathea explained.
-
Danny could sense fear and want from her. "Why don't you?" He asked, drawing stares from everyone physically in the room. "From what I have seen and heard, you would be able to be a better ruler than him. At least you would be kind." Danny explained, sensing pride from his family and a little jealousy from Kim for some reason.
-
"Your words may speak true, warrior Danny, but it is impossible. I am no match for my brother and his inner circle." Dorathea explained that her brother had three who followed him devoutly, an executioner, an archer, and a large purple dire wolf. "If I face even one of them, they will stab me in my core and I will cease." Everyone gasped upon hearing that.
-
"If you give us time princess, we can help you with your problem." Kim promised resolutely. Everyone in the room nodded. "The two people behind me can build weapons that we can use to take down your brother and his circle. I even have a friend we can ca-" Kim couldn't finish her sentence before there was banging on the portal doors, which closed automatically after Dorathea came through, and got busted through.
-
"You can't hide from me dear sister." An unfamiliar, and unkind, voice sounded from the other side of the portal. Something pounded on the doors again, it looked like a black and green axe came through, the hole large enough to see their attackers.
-
"That is my brother and his circle!" Dorathea said, terrified at the prospect of facing them.
-
Danny gave mental commands to Charybdis and Scylla to prepare to fight and protect the humans respectively. Danny wanted to hide behind Scylla too but couldn't make it before an arrow flew by his head.
-
The archer with green clothes and a yellow-brown hood was the first to come in through the hole in the portal doors, unleashing a volley of arrows at the princess. The second was a man with a black hood and a green mask. The third came in was an ugly man in purple and black clothing with the purple and green direwolf.
-
Danny transformed and blasted the arrows out of the air, hearing gasps from his parents. "Stand down. This is not your land, and princess Dorathea is under my protection for the time being. Charybdis, you deal with the executioner, Scylla, keep protecting the non-combatants." Danny commanded in Gholric, ignoring the shock on the ghosts' faces in the lab.
-
"I don't know who you are, halfa, but she is mine to command. You are to release her to my custody or face annihilation at the hands of my men." Aragon gave the ultimatum with the confidence of someone who has gotten everything he has ever asked for without resistance. Not getting an immediate answer he ordered the archer to shoot again.
-
Danny flew towards the archer, catching the volley of arrows and punching them with a fist full of ecto-energy. The archer flew hard into the wall, shattering his quiver and scattering his arrows on the floor. Danny shot an ecto-ray at his bow, breaking it so he wouldn't be able to use it anymore.
-
Charybdis charged at the executioner, who raised his ax and swung down. Charybdis caught it mid-swing and ripped it out of his hands. They used all their tentacles to shatter the executioner's ax and let the pieces fall to the ground. The executioner decided to throw a punch at the spectral cephalopod, who just went intangible and let it go through them. When the executioner fell from imbalance, Charybdis wrapped him up in their tentacles and squeezed hard. A cry came out near the non-combatants.
-
Danny and Charybdis saw that the direwolf decided to attack the group, getting hit full force by Scylla with a silver ecto-blast from half their tentacles. The wolf was flying towards Danny, who caught it and spun it into the same wall the archer crashed into. The two ghosts lay limp in a pile. Charybdis added the executioner to the pile when he went unconscious in their tentacles. Danny turned his attention to where Aragon was supposed to be but instead found him nearing the portal. Danny focused his ectoplasm to grab Aragon in a vice grip. Aragon started to glow green and froze in place. "Where do you think you're going?" Danny asked with a smile that the telekinesis worked
-
"I don't think you know who I am!" Aragon yelled at his captor. "I am the dragon prince Aragon." He said as the gem on his own necklace started to glow, Scylla was faster and flew to snatch the necklace off of Aragon. The glow on the gem stopped and Aragon's eyes widened in fear.
-
Scylla turned and flew to Princess Dorathea and held out the necklace. "I believe you know what is best to do with this, Princess." They said, bowing their head to her. Danny could sense they were trying to be as formal as they could be.
-
Princess Dorathea gracefully accepted the piece of magical jewelry with a big smile that reached her eyes.
-
Jazz went to pick up the discarded thermos and went to suck up the ghosts but paused. "We should have Wade scan them so we can catalog them" She told Kim who nodded and checked to see if he was still on the line.
-
"Already done. I was able to get them during the fight." Wade told them. Jazz nodded and sucked up all the unconscious ghosts as well as Aragon
-
"We like to write down the energy ghosts give off to keep track of all the ghosts we meet, good or bad, so we can alter our weaponry, so we don't hurt the good people, only the bad. The white vortex you saw was us capturing them in our small temporary prison of sorts. We let them go after a while." Danny explained to a confused Dora, who nodded appreciatively. "Would you allow Wade here to scan the necklaces? It's fine if you don't, they are yours to do as you please now." He assured the ghostly princess.
-
"I would appreciate it. Mayhaps you will be able to rid the curse my brother places on my necklace?" Princess Dorathea asked, hopeful to have control of her dragon form once more.
-
"Let Wade scan them and we'll see." Scylla told her after grabbing the cursed piece of jewelry off the floor and handing it to her. She held up both pieces and Wade scanned them quickly.
-
"From what I can see, ecto-signatures of both you and your brother's are on your necklace. I believe that if we get rid of his signature, it should remove the curse. Think you could do that, Danny?" Wade asked the half-ghost.
-
"You want me to try and sense and differentiate between two different energies and remove one when I have never done so before?" Danny asked, getting an embarrassed nod from the computer kid. "Sure, it couldn't be too much different than when I meditated. That involved moving different energies too." Dora gave Danny her necklace and he sat down to get to work.
Danny emptied his mind of all but the magical necklace in his hands. He pushed his own aura into it on instinct. The reaction was mostly the same as yesterday, but he felt more aware of his physical surroundings and that the large light green orb was wrapped with a dark red wire-like energy.
Danny reached out with his mind to touch the wire and felt pure hatred for Dorathea. Danny ignored that feeling and pushed some energy into it with the intent of overriding the energy and removing it. Danny's energy looked like a mixture of green and blue, and it traveled up and down the wire. When it finished replacing the wire, Danny willed it to disappear from the orb and never came back. It worked and he saw a soft light and felt a little tired mentally, not enough to pass out though.
Danny opened his eyes to looks of awe and astonishment from the assorted people in the room. "That should be it. It was rather easy to do, but I liked the experience. Thank you Dorathea for helping me discover a new power of mine." Danny handed back the now uncursed magical amulet to the princess. He looked at his watch, seeing that they still had a few hours before school. "If you'd like, we could help you send your brother and his followers back to your kingdom so you can take the throne." Danny offered as she was admiring her jewelry.
-
Dora looked conflicted at the offer. She likely didn't want to disturb them by doing such a task but wanted the best of the people. "Are you sure about this, Warrior… what do I call this form?" She asked.
-
Everyone looked a little confused at the question. "Phantom. You may call this form Phantom. Why did you ask?" Danny asked, confused at how she knew he used a different name for his ghostly form.
-
"It tends to be customary for Halfa's, such as yourself, to pick two different names between forms. I knew that you were half ghost the moment I saw you in my Dragon form." Princess Dorathea explained the new information. "Anyway, are you truly sure about this, warrior Phantom?" She asked the now categorized halfa.
-
"Of course I am. We have a few hours until we have to be anywhere, and with the power of both Charybdis and Scylla, we should get there in a few moments if the amount of time between the time they left and came back with you following them is anything to consider." Danny confirmed, knowing that part of this was procrastinating talking to his parents about his transformation. "Besides, we can't keep them forever. You should have access to your own jail or dungeons to put them in for their corruption." He told the princess
-
"You're not going through the portal by yourself, young man." Maddie told her now white-haired son. She didn't know what happened to him, but she was going to go along with it for now since he seems determined to help this woman.
-
"Yeah, now that you revealed you're a 'Halfa' you can charge our inventions and we can help fight any of the bad ghosts left that follows that dirtbag." Jack sped to his larger weaponry for his now half-ghost son to charge. He didn't know how that happened but wasn't going to complain. Danny was still his son.
-
It seemed that everyone was going into the Infinite Realms. Danny, Kim, Jazz, Maddie, and Jack were riding on Dorathea's dragon form to the realm that was now hers. She went her top speed and made it to her realm in a short amount of time, faster than when the ectopi were away from Danny. She landed and gave her riders time to get off before turning back into a human ghost.
The realm was a dark place. Literally, it had thick black clouds covering the entirety of the island. The Fentons and Kim noticed that their tech wasn't working, Danny decided to use his portal power to keep the thermos in the lab with Charybdis guarding it, to fix this Dora said "Aevum, Deinceps, Coepio!"(Time, Forward, Begin) and the clouds departed and the Fenton devices started to work again, including Kim's Kimmunicator.
-
"Kim! Kim, what happened?" Wade asked worriedly. "You cut off from me so suddenly I thought something happened to you."
-
"I have to apologize, scribe Wade, but that was the way the realm has been since my brother has ruled. All advances after our age will not work at all. Now that I am in command of the realm, your technology is now capable of working." Princess Dorathea explained. "Let us make our way to the castle. We must tell the people that I am in charge now." She said with strong resolve in her voice.
=
They made it to the castle in an hour and a half and only encountered the denizens who were exceptionally grateful to Dora and her warriors. Their first stop was the guards quarters to alert them that she needed to make an announcement and to have all the denizens gathered. The guards happily went to do the tasks needed for such an event. The second stop was to the dungeons to release the criminals in their cells. They all snarled and spouted curses to the princess.
The third stop was the throne room so she could address the change in leadership and a surprise that the princess wouldn't tell them. The room started to fill up, and she started telling the people what had transpired earlier. "And for their bravery, warrior Phantom will become the ambassador between us and the human world, and his companions will be knighted." She revealed the secret. "Should they accept, they will be allowed here whenever they please, be it to train, study, or relax in a house I will be granting Sir Phantom." All of the group decided to go through with it. Dora had them get fitted for armor and weaponry. That was when Danny discovered he could change his clothing with his mind to any ghost clothing he wears.
