Chapter 3 - Control

Rogers gazed at his masterpiece.

If he placed "Mind Ants" in all the servants and guards working in the palace, everyone, without exception, would become first-rate warriors. All martial arts skills and expertise would be distributed among them.

The palace would be safer than the White House!

"Sam, you will bring everyone in, one by one, and make them swallow the ants. Whether by kindness or by force and coercion, I don't want anyone in my palace except those I choose. Understood?"

"Yes, sir."

Approximately forty minutes passed. Everyone in the palace entered the office and swallowed the ants. Some were beaten, while others, out of fear and anxiety, took them without resistance.

Rogers looked at them all, contemplating his first army in this world.

"Ten people will remain in the palace. For the rest, I will arrange positions in the company. I want you to infiltrate the company and take control of it."

Although his father's company had loyal people, Rogers didn't trust human nature. He wanted his voice to be the only one in the company.

Rogers arranged jobs for them to take over, then left to get into the car because he had a meeting today with the company's managers and employees.

As the car moved, Rogers looked at the advertisements for superheroes filling the buildings and shops.

Rogers arrived at the company building.

He looked at the skyscraper. Although it wasn't as magnificent as the Stark Tower, it was still a large building compared to the neighboring ones.

Rogers decided that in the future, he would change it as he saw fit.

Rogers entered the company and didn't pay attention to the employees because, in his opinion, they were worthless to him.

He took the elevator to the eightieth floor and entered the meeting room, which was full of attendees, both executive managers and department heads.

As soon as he entered, all eyes turned to him. Some were worried about the reason for the sudden meeting, while others were filled with envy or greed.

Rogers didn't care about their reactions. He sat in the main chair and looked at everyone. "Hello, everyone. Today is a day for history, as we will launch the world's first hypersonic missile, which will change wars and attacks." As soon as he finished speaking, the lights went out.

The main screen lit up for the presentation.

A precise and graphical model of the missile appeared, showing how it worked, along with an animated display illustrating its destructive power.

All eyes were fixed on it for about a quarter of an hour. Most of those present stood up from their chairs to get closer to the screen, scrutinizing the missile's mechanism, structure, and how it functioned.

Some of the specialized experts present were stunned because they understood what was before them.

"I can't believe it myself, Mr. Rogers. Did you design this missile?!"

"How magnificent!"

"This is a new chapter in the world of weapons."

Rogers wasn't surprised by their reactions. In fact, he was measuring their reactions. Some were happy, and some harbored malicious intentions.

"Since everyone is happy and this is the beginning of a leap into the sky for the company, let's celebrate with a big cake we've prepared!" Rogers said to them with feigned enthusiasm and a fake smile.

As soon as he finished speaking, "Sam" entered the meeting room, pushing a long cart with a giant cake.

The managers and employees looked at the cake and couldn't help but laugh and get excited to taste the cake and imagine their future wealth.

Sam divided the cake equally among everyone. They sat eating and laughing until Rogers was sure that everyone had eaten the cake.

As soon as he was sure, the smile disappeared from his face, replaced by calm.

The next moment, all sounds in the meeting room stopped, replaced by a terrifying silence.

Everyone looked at Rogers with a look of exaggerated respect bordering on worship!

"Everyone, stand up."

As soon as they heard Rogers' voice, the chairs they were sitting on moved, and they all stood up without hesitation.

Rogers knew that the "Mind Ants" had infiltrated everyone's brains.

"From today, all shares and assets are handed over to me alone."

"Sam, arrange a special exhibition for the weapons we will display and sell. I want it to be an exhibition that tops the headlines." He wanted to exploit the fame for his benefit. He didn't want Vought to be the only voice.

A whole week passed preparing for the exhibition of "Eye Company," which was actually Rogers' company. As soon as he learned the previous company name, he couldn't stand it and changed it to suit his goal: monitoring the whole world as if it were a small village.

Rogers' large black car arrived at the exhibition, attracting attention with its intricate design.

Rogers got out of the car and was greeted by some journalists. Although the turnout wasn't the same as Tony Stark's, it was good and excellent.

"Mr. Rogers, this is the first exhibition for Eye Company since the death of its former president. What will the company be showing?"

Rogers looked at the journalists and said, "Today, we will open a new chapter in the history of weapons. You are lucky to witness this." He said it and walked away from them.

The journalists looked at each other, filled with excitement.

Rogers entered the main hall, glancing at some company heads and some generals from the army and police.

He took the podium and made sure the microphone was working. As soon as he confirmed it...

"Ahem, ahem." A fake cough to attract attention.

Everyone looked at Rogers on the podium, waiting for the exhibition.

"Ladies and gentlemen, everyone knows that long-range weapons have some drawbacks, such as inaccuracy, not knowing the exact location of the missile, and most importantly, the longer the missile travels, the less effective its destructive power becomes."

Rogers began to gradually raise his voice. "So today, I announce to the world that the modern missile manufactured by Eye Company is a hypersonic missile that breaks the sound barrier. It can even outpace the fastest hero in the world, Homelander, in flight!!"

As soon as he finished speaking, an uproar broke out, both among those present and those watching the live broadcasts on all channels.

What does it mean to surpass "Homelander"?!

It meant that the strongest hero in the world had been surpassed in some field.

The journalists knew that behind these words lay another, more controversial meaning.

The exhibition continued, with Rogers presenting advanced products for everyday use, but he didn't care much because, in the future, all humans would use the devices he manufactured and sold.

From screens, cars, phones, or even cleaning tools, in the next two years, the company would change to swallow all companies. Anyone who refused to submit would find a way to be tamed.

Rogers had finished with company matters and decided to start on his personal affairs. The first thing was "Vought."

"JARVIS, hack into the Vought Tower. Cameras, screens, anything that could lead us to the Compound V."

In less than five minutes, data flowed in, and Rogers learned about a scientific base on the outskirts and coasts of New York, hidden from the world or difficult to access.

Rogers decided to go there and take all the samples and related items.

Rogers left his palace and looked at the blue sky.

"JARVIS, show me the map for the specific base location and the ways to get there."

As soon as he finished speaking, his nanotech suit activated. A black liquid metal covered his body, forming a dark, lusterless armor.

Rogers looked at his customized suit. He had made adjustments in color and sensitivity so that he felt no discomfort or difficulty in moving.

The next second, thrusters ignited from the feet, propelling him into the air at maximum speed. You could hear the sound barrier breaking repeatedly.

Rogers, now in the sky, looked at his home, which had become the size of an ant in less than five seconds. Excitement took over him.
