The next day....

It was early morning. I was waiting for Mom in the guest room given to me yesterday. Usually, I am not an early bird, but today I got up early. I couldn't sleep well last night. The thought of Alpha Alex and Beta Eric kept me awake the whole night.
"Bethany, honey, are you ready to go?" Mom asked, poking her head from the door.
"Yes mom, I am ready. I was waiting for you," I replied, taking my things from the bed and leaving the room. We were walking through the long corridor.
"Hurry up, alpha Alex and beta Eric are waiting for us in front of the pack house," Mom said, increasing her pace.
"The alpha will go with us, too?" I asked Mom, surprised by the new information I got right now.
"Yes, even your dad and I were also surprised to see him with Beta Eric," Mom stated
When we reached the front door, the first person that came into my sight was Alpha Alex. He was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans. His hands were folded in front of him, while he was leaning against the black Range Rover. He was talking to someone whom I couldn't see from my position. The more I walked towards him, the more I was fascinated by his charm. Maybe he felt my gaze cause the next second he was looking at me with his killing smile. I averted his gaze, and my eyes fell on Beta Eric. He was standing beside Alpha Alex. So alpha Alex was talking to him a while ago?
"Good morning, Bethany. Did you sleep well last night?" Beta Eric asked me as soon as our eyes met.
"Good morning, Alpha Alex, good morning, Beta Eric. I slept well last night. Thanks for asking." I replied with a smile. I could feel the possessive stares from Alpha Alex when I was talking to Beta Eric. I could feel the strange chemistry among us three. Though Alpha Alex always showed his possessiveness, Eric never did anything like that. He was reluctant but caring.
After greeting them, my mom went to our car. Dad was already in the driver's seat. Mom took the passenger seat, and I hopped in the back seat. From here, I can see that Alpha Alex and Beta Eric also got inside the car. Beta Eric was driving the car, and Dad followed them. Soon, we were away from the pack house, leaving the small houses of the pack members. We were far away from the pack house, and now I couldn't even see any pack members walking around. That meant we were closer to our new home. We were driving to the outskirts of the small town; suddenly, the car in front of us slowed down and came to a halt near a clearing. Dad also stopped our car. We got out of the car and walked near the alpha's car. I stopped in my place, looking at the beautiful small house in front of us. It was nice and cozy, surrounded by trees; there wasn't any other house near it. I was happy finally we can stay in peace away from the prying eyes of the nosy neighbors.
"Hope you like your new home?" Alpha Alex said from behind. I turned around only to find that he was talking to my dad, not me. I turned away disappointed.
Alpha's men were helping us to bring our staff inside the house. Dad and Mom were busy with them arranging our stuff. I was standing a little far from the house near the woods when I felt someone standing behind me. I turned around to meet with Alpha Alex's amber eyes.
"You smell different," he said out of nowhere. His eyes were searching for something in my eyes. I could hear the throbbing of my heart from the emotions I was feeling. I was scared that he would find out my secret, and happy at the same time because he was interested in my smell.
"You have a pack run on Friday, be prepared for it," he said and then left me there. I was anxious about the pack run. I can't join them. They would know my secret.
"Don't take much pressure on you, just relax. You will like our pack members." Beta Eric said to. I didn't realize when he came this close to me. He patted my shoulder and left behind Alpha Alex. I could feel Alpha Alex's burning gaze when Eric was talking to me. I guess Eric could feel it too, but still, he chose to encourage me. Was he really that concerned for me? Should I tell them about my complicated feelings? No, I couldn't let them know about my dreams. That would be so embarrassing.
After both of them left, we were busy the rest of the day, unpacking and cleaning with the help of the men Alpha Alex brought here.
Time flies by like the wind, and today is Monday. I was sitting in my bedroom. After cleaning and tidying up the house, it now looks more homely. I heard a knock on the front door, followed by Dad's voice. He was talking to someone. I went to the living room only to find Alpha Alex standing there.
"Alpha came to visit if we are done settling. He is also here to remind us about your school starting from Friday," Mom told me.
Alpha Alex turned his face, and our eyes met. My heart started beating at lightning speed. I was both excited that he came all the way just to remind me of my school. I was also scared of him knowing my truth. In his presence, I become like a prey, and he is my hunter. After exchanging some pleasantries with my parents, Alpha Alex left. Not before giving me one of his charming smiles.
Today is my first day at school. And with my previous experience, I am scared. I am scared of being bullied and ostracized by other students. With a lot of imagination and fears I stepped foot in my new school. It was not like my previous school. It was more spacious, and there was a big training ground in the middle of the school. I went directly to the Principal's office. The Principal was an elderly man in his mid-fifties. But because of his werewolf genes, he looked much younger than his age. He welcomed me with his warm smile. Then he gave me the timetable of my classes. After thanking him, I left his office.
After leaving the Principal's office, I looked through my timetable and was shocked that I have to join training every day. All students needed to train for two hours daily except on Friday. Two hours of normal hand-to-hand combat training daily and an extra hour of training with wolves on every Tuesday and Wednesday. Thinking about the training, I was anxious. However, my first class will start in twenty minutes, so I have no time to think about the training. I was walking in the corridor and checking the room numbers to find my class when I bumped into someone.
"Ouch, can't you see where you're going?" I heard the voice of a girl. She was sitting on the ground, and so was I. We both fell on the ground because of the impact. I was the first one to get up from the ground.
"I am sorry. I was busy searching for my new classroom and didn't see where I was going," I apologized to her as it was my fault. Then I extended my hand to help her stand. She gladly accepted my hand and got up.
"It's okay. I wasn't careful either. So don't blame yourself. I am Page, the daughter of the Gamma, and you are?" she asked me, not leaving my hand.
"I am Bethany. I am new to this pack," I replied to her.
"Oh, so you are the new girl everyone was talking about. Let me help you find your class. What is the room number?" she asked with a friendly smile.
"It's 207, the history class," I said after checking my routine for the last time.
"Wow! We are in the same class. Let's walk together," she started walking with me, pulling my hand.
"I heard you were banished from your previous pack by Alpha Jackson?" she asked me while walking. I just nodded to her in response.
"No wonder Alpha Alex accepted your family. You know he hates Alpha Jackson." She whispered the last part. I was shocked by the new information.
"We are here, this is your new classroom," she declared after stopping in front of a classroom.
I heaved a heavy sigh. This is my new classroom. Will I be able to make any new friends here? What if they are manipulative and evil like the students of my previous school? What if they discover my secret? Will I have to face the same fate again?
