It was new information for him, he had so much more questions that he was eager to ask but time didn't let him. They had already crossed the 2nd boundary. They saw a gate, Amelia was leading and he was following her. She looked back
" This is the gate once we go in, we can't get out unless we clear the trial ". Adam nodded in response. She started walking towards the gate just before entering he stopped her
" Let's hold hands so we don't get saperated "
Adam held out his hand. She held it, he felt different at the moment, his blood flow increased, he would be embarrassed if she looked back at the moment but thankfully she didn't. Adam could guess she was avoiding eye contact as well. They entered the gate simultaneously. In a blink of an eye their bodies converted into particles and moved with light speed as if being teleported. They appeared in an open field, could see some broken and abandoned houses and about 3 kilometers in every direction was a stone wall, so much high that he could see it touching sky. They were at the center of the place. Everything felt like it was real. They were being teleported to some abandoned village but to hault their escape, there were stone walls all around. The only piece of information was that, they were facing a trial, so their must be a way out. He looked at Amelia. Her eyes were Opened a lot more than usual.
" Amelia ! What do you make of this trial, any guesses "
"Nope"
Her nope told him that most of work is pending for him. Yes, she had knowledge but she wasn't smart instead she was dumb and emotional. So yes he need to get them out of there
" I think we need to escape this placeto clear the trial. Just an assumption though"
" I have no idea, this place is so big, anything can be a trial, maybe we need to find a treasure or a key "
Ahhhh she is living in fantasy

She looked at Adam angrily, Adam guessed, she didn't like being called a child or immature.
" Let me explain, trail is something where the people are being tested, in finding treasure or whatever, their is no test "
" Ok ok, Mr all knowing. Like you told me all about spirit, right! "
Adam exhaled deeply. Why was she so competitive, like why can't she just accept a logical explanation. They were still throwing verbal punches at each other when Adam saw himself and Amelia coming from the front. Adam looked at Amelia, she was already looking at him with a surprised expression
" What is this " she asked
" I think we need to kill them, but we will wait for them to attack first "
" You need a weapon " she asked
" Yes and make two bangles of ice around my wrist and your's as well "
" Why "
" Just do it "
She made two bagles in both of Adam and her wrist. Made two daggers one longer in length than the other, sharp and pointed at the end and handed them to him. She made two more weapon for herself. He took his focus back to the Amelia and Adam clones. The clone Amelia also made the same weapon for Fake Adam. After receiving the weapon, fake Adam started running towards Adam. Adam looked back at him and started running as well and held his right arm back. He slashed at him horizontally, fake Adam ducked and strike with his left hand on Adam's right shoulder. Adam bend his body backwards and went straight for the fake Amelia. The next instant he stopped and looked back at fake Adam he did the exact same and went for real Amelia. Adam went after the fake Adam turning back, but till that time, he already had made a few attacks on Amelia. She was quick to analyze the situation. She already had made a shield of ice to defend herself from fake Adam's blows. Who was striking at her from each and every directions. Amelia had already dropped her weapons and had two shield in both her arms. Both the sheilds were small in size so she was using them comfortably. Still small cuts were already visible on her body. Adam reached fake Adam and kicked him, he blocked, already knowing where the kick was coming from but the impact of kick forced him back ward. Just then Adam ducked an attack from fake Amelia by bending down and quickly landed his elbow at her gut. The real Amelia was already upon fake Adam striking with her shield mid air. Her Shield became bigger while she was in air. Her attack landed on fake Adam. Who blocked again crossing his elbows. He was pushed a couple of feet back again when the real Adam was upon him in mean time. He attacked him using daggers of his both arms simultaneously. Fake Adam was blocking or doughing each and every attack. Some attacks reached him but did minor damage. OnAdams back he could feel Amelia going against the fake one, also equally matched. Adam knew because the one he was fighting was equally powerful as he was. So he guessed fake Amelia should be as much skilled as the real one. Their enemies were duplicates. This trial was demand seemed to kill the same version of them,but nothing was quite sure yet. It was turning out to be a battle of tolerance. Both Adams were fighting for about 10 mins now. Their bodies had already start to feel the heat of battle. Wounds on Adam's body were increasing as well. They were in a stale mate. This stale mate continued for about an hour. Adam was feeling awful at that time. His body was not keeping up with his mind. Same was the case for fake Adam. He had also slowed down. Adam needed to either become better at fighting or change his strategy. At this point of fight, becoming better was not possible so he needed to change the strategy. He collected a powerful breath and kicked the fake Adam with all his might remaining. He went back a little but kept his fighting poster but Adam was not seeing him. Delivering the kick Adam didn't wait for his response. He turned towards the two Amelia fighting each other. Adam ran towards them. Both were similar. He couldn't guess which one was fake. But he attacked the one without bangles in succession. She wasn't ready for this. She tried to block but was a bit late. Adam's dagger kissed her ribcage and made her whole stomach red with blood and instantly threw his shoulder and pushed the Amelia wearing bangles to side. She barely missed the dagger strike on her shoulder by fake Adam, instead of her, Adam's arm started bleeding
" Shield" Adam shouted while kicking the fake Adam. He again blocked,
Amelia made a shield in an instant and threw the shield while keeping the holding side towards me. Adam dropped the dagger and caught the shield simultaneously. He blocked an attack from the back by fake Amelia and turned towards the fake Adam.Adam saw a kick incoming. He put the shield in front. The impact made his arm bleed more and a grown of pain came out from his own mouth. But all the difference was already being made. Adam had taken the risk and now results was awaiting. He needed to hold out against fake Adam before Amelia could kill the fake one and join him.
